The signage around the store is pretty clear, so the dress I chose to try on I knew I would not get store credit for. When I dared to ask if I can try the dress on, they both quickly and sullenly let me know that that dress could not be bought on store credit. Cool, I can read. I merely wanted to try it on, and wasn't going to demand they let me use store credit. I have wracked my brain to every instance I have been in this store, to try to figure out why these two treat me like the garbage on their shoes. These two women had been super icy to me in the past - yes, I have been a customer there more than once - but today was the worst. Not only were they so icy today, it was almost hostile, the difference between the way they treated me, and the way they nicely interacted with both the woman who was checking out when I got there, and the woman who was shopping when I was checking out was glaring. You can keep your rip off level store credit - I will not be returning to your shop. You are not the only plus sized resale game in town. Surely, some others will be at least professional and kind. I do NOT recommend this store to anyone, the mean girls running it do not deserve your business. Fellow plus sized ladies, do yourselves a favor and look elswhere. This place does not disappoint! There was a great selection of lots of different types of clothing, from formal dresses to workout sets to outerwear. There were brands I knew, like Eloquii, Ava & Viv, and Torrid, plus some I didn't know yet. My greatest surprise and delight happened in the fitting rooms, which are both equipped with fans!! This is clearly a space imagined by fat people for fat people (if you know, you know). I can't wait to see how the collection of clothing evolves once they start buying from the community next week. Even though the location is a little bit out of the way for me, this will definitely be a regular stop because it fills a niche that literally didn't exist in Nashville. I love that I'll be able to try clothes on in person instead of relying totally on online shopping and the sad in-store plus options offered at many big box retailers.

I was pleasantly greeted by Erin the minute I walked in the store and she assisted me with getting a fitting room. I decided to purchase what I had tried on and was helped by her associate Laticia. I had a gift card, merch. card and a $10 coupon for my purchase and I realize that there were a lot of moving parts. Part of the issue was that the pin pad was not showing what she was putting in the system so I questioned the total. I was explaining that I didn't see some of the credits and before I could finish she said "if you would be quiet I will explain". I looked at her and said "did you really just say that?" astonished. She said "I am trying to explain" and I responded "I understand but your attitude is beyond acceptable". She then stated "Well you have had an attitude since you stepped up to the counter". Completely unacceptable and finished the transaction with the manager Erin and explained what had happened. The service in many of WHBM stores has really gone down and I get it because of COVID but being disrespected like this is not what I expect from a store like this.

I came in to return two clearly defective items for store credit bc I already purchased the replacements (as seen in my lululemon app). Instead of helpful service, I was told by the manager Collin--repeatedly--that "it's policy" to only do even exchanges, with no explanation. When I tried to express my concerns, he accused me of "having an attitude." Another manager, Brantley/Berkley, then approached in an intimidating manner that made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. He stood watching over me with his arms crossed just to try and intimidate me -- just for returning items that don't live up to their quality! After finally giving me replacements, Collin cut the tags off the new items in front of me, again claiming it was "policy." I've shopped at Lululemon for two decades and have never seen this. When I asked to keep my original tag (as proof of purchase, which I paid for), he refused. I have video of the interaction, and the entire experience felt disrespectful and punitive. Lululemon, this is unacceptable for a company that value ls community, inclusive and basic customer service. Customers deserve transparency and basic respect--neither of which I received today.
