Today is Saturday. Decided to go to Family Buffet for lunch. Haven't been here awhile. Lunch opens at 10:30am. I arrive at 11am-ish. Weekends, it is all day dinner price of $16. Since I arrive when they open, I would assume that all their main dishes would be hot and fresh. WRONG!! Today, a lot of their dishes were cold and old. The Sesame Chicken looked and tasted like it was from 2-3 days ago and it was cold. The wings were very cold temperature and looks like it was from 2-3 days ago. The Beef Broccoli barely has any beef in it. The Pork with mushroom barely has any Pork in it. Most of the food Items I tried were like room temperature. They really need to turn up the heat in the buffet bar. The quality of the food here has gone down. I was so disappointed. One good thing about this place is the female staff that was serving the drinks and clearing out the table. She was nice and polite and friendly. read more

First time going.... will not be going back. And I don't know if it's my lack of knowledge how buffets work but ordered two buffets for me and my mom sat down and only ate about half a plate each due to us being on Ozempic. Wanted to take our food home and was told that we'd be charged extra to take it home(mind you our plates were not piled). Thought that was kind of crazy. Neither were we asked if we wanted the buffet or to order a meal only what drink we wanted. I would understand if it was more than one plate but it was just two plates between the two of us and they weren't even finished. Most of the food was cold anyways. When I brought the issue up they were rude about it. We will not be going back. read more

Yikes. There are almost no Chinese buffets left and unfortunately this one survived. The dishes were mostly left empty for most of our visit. The breaded options like orange chicken had almost no actual chicken inside the breading. Broccoli beef and chicken were bland and the broccoli pieces were so large and hard as to be inedible. The majority of the food was standard buffet fare but just not very good. The only good thing I had was when I made a plate for the hibachi grill. Beef, noodles and broccoli. Well cooked and flavored. If I went there again, I'd skip almost the entire buffet and do the hibachi (which is included.) Desserts were bland and not worth the indulgence. Price was relatively high for what was offered. Interior was dated and a little dirty. The employees were nice but factoring everything in, not somewhere I'd likely ever go back to. read more

The buffet was not really hot at all The food was cold and gummy it's $14.99. My server was good but there was this over that wasn't also they were giving out like chocolates or a calendar to everyone they didn't give me one. I just didn't think anything looked good there I did try it because I'd already drive there I will say the crab rangoons was the only thing that I could really eat and the lo mein but the lo mein had this weird smell but most of the food had this same smell I couldn't put my finger on it I was thinking I was going to get sick but I didn't. Very nice people and customer service. The food just lacks a lot of quality tho. Most of the food is saturated in oil, and not fresh tasting. If you carry out or take out, it is charged by the lb! If you're into cheap, quick food then this is your place! If you're expecting a quality meal for cheap, RUN! read more

Very good food. Have been eating there for 15 years. It has never been cold, and the seasonings are well done.

This place is either a hit or miss on their food. Lots of times, the food is just sitting in the steam tables, and other times, the food is really cold. One day, I was in there. An older man who is always keeping an eye on the customers was clipping his fingernails in the area of the buffet. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I feel the food needs a big improvement. This is a buffet, where someone can eat low-quality Chinese food in bulk. I found the dumplings to be hard as a rock and dry. The egg rolls and spring rolls were mediocre at best. The hot & sour soup was underwhelming. With the main entrees (such as the Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken, & the pork with mushroom), the meats and vegetables were squalid. Their tastes were off and I remembered the meat to taste pretty metallic. There are also old California rolls as well. You have an unlimited supply for just $14 per person. Years ago, under a different name & management(?), this used to be a rewarding, satisfying go-to for AYCE. Still has a large variety to offer but last night's dinner was a nightmare ol old, cold food. Steam tables were barely on and food was tepid at best. Certainly would've failed a retail food inspection. Understandable that post-Covid, everything is served in plastic cups & massive amounts of styrofoam (ugh!) whether dining in or for take out by the pound. $12.99 was the price of glutony, not quality, and at that price point there are plenty of other satisfying Chinese food options in Greality! I would not recommend this place for all the tea in china. My boyfriend and I came last evening about one hour and half before closing , food was below average. But the worst part was the horrible service , couldn't get refills , and as I was leaving the guy up front had the nerve to ask me if I payed !!! I replied , that my boyfriend payed . Felt very disrespected. This place is lousy. Don't go here , the chicken dishes were hard and not fresh , worst lo mein ever , no flavor ! Also a staff that just wanted to go home and never came to offer refill , or thank us for coming , but instead accused me of not paying , and my boyfriend was nice enough to live a tip !
