I had a good experience with Fallon's. Placed an online order with ease. Was given a call when the flowers were ready. The store itself is cute; nice little trinkets you can buy besides flowers. Noticed they had "Pinot Nior" and "Chardonnay" candles in pretty little wood votives. They also sell homemade soaps by the slice and unique looking wind chimes. Pricing for flowers seemed comparable to other shops in the area. Customer service was a plus as well. I do feel some of the leaves on the roses should have been picked off for a fresher look if not just replaced all together. read more

I had to pick up eucalyptus for a friends business. When I walked into Fallon's it was like a flower heaven. And I was just in awe. I was greeted with a warm welcome and because I was in line they said that they would be with me soon. The lady that checked me out was extremely nice. She said that they were really busy because of Valentine's Day. The parking was a little hard so I ended up parking in front of convenience store. But the walk wasn't bad. The store was filled with flowers artificial and real. They had bouquets already ready for people to pick out just in case they didn't get a custom order. I paid about 10.95 per punch of eucalyptus (I got 2). Overall I loved this place. They are really helpful and very nice. I'll definitely return. read more

My daughter just recently moved to Raleigh. It was her birthday and she'd be celebrating alone since her all of her family is in California. I told the young lady at Fallon's that it was my daughter's birthday and I wanted to order flowers for her. She was very nice and expressed her apologies ,but told me that it I had missed the cut-off time for same day delivery. Shortly thereafter I received a call back from Lee(I think) he proceeded to tell that he was told that I wanted to get flowers for my daughter. He told me that he would make accommodations for me so that she could get flowers. He even gave me time to look at flowers online and to give him a call back. I so appreciated the awesome customer service that I was given from the beginning of my call to the completion of my order. I ordered a 40 red rose center piece for my 40th birthday party that was never delivered to the restaurant. Fallons is the only place I send flowers from in the Triangle. The staff here is always exceptionally professional and the flower arrangements they create and suggest are absolutely phenomenal. The flowers are always exceptionally fresh and say that way for a long time after you receive them. You can order flowers to be delivered both in their store as well as online. I've almost always opted for the online option when I'm having bouquets delivered, but that has been predominantly because I'm ordering them exceptionally last minute. One neat thing the store does is "Friday Happy Hour' where they offer single stems at half off on Fridays in the store. I've used that deal many a time to pick up a last minute birthday gift or just create a bouquet for my home. read more

Super fast, friendly service. Just ordered flowers for Mother's Day (I like mom to be able to enjoy the flowers all week, so I usually send them early) and the phone was answered right away and Jane was super nice. I wanted something big (I requested the total be $120 inclusive of delivery) and I asked to include curly willow, 'cause that usually results in a taller arrangement with more drama. I was placed on a very brief hold while she checked to make sure they had curly willow, and they did. I appreciated the extra step to ensure I would get what I envisioned. I ordered a "fresh arrangement", which is always better than picking something from a picture, because the florist will use the very best stems they have. The only reason I'm withholding the fifth star is because when asked about my other preferences, I mentioned either basing the arrangement on sunflowers if they had them, or making a purple arrangement. While the final product had some purple flowers in it, it wasn't purple themed. I really can't complain though, and I'm sure if I had been super specific they would've tailored the arrangement even more. All in all these folks are very professional, super fast (I ordered at 8:30am and they were delivered by 11:00!) and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

She was super responsive and easy to get in touch with, which made things so much easier for me considering I was constantly in a panic over something. I had a last minute move out of the state 4 months before the wedding and she gladly held all of my vases for the arrangements for me so I wouldn't have to travel with them, which was so thoughtful. This is the second time ordering flowers from Fallons in the last month. My first order was an arrangement of red roses for a funeral. They were absolutely stunning and I was very pleased. I just ordered a sympathy arrangement for the home, and it was difficult to decide what to order because the same picture of the same one arrangement shows for any selection you select. I asked about what kind of flowers would be in a couple of different arrangements, and the young lady on the phone, Ashton, said she was sorry but she did not have time to wait for me to make a selection. If there are pictures on the website to show what you are buying would be helpful to make the decision faster. read more

Fallon's Florist is a business of long standing and has a very good reputation. That is why I was surprised that my experience with them - with two locations- was so problematic. I wanted a particular sympathy arrangement. It was simple and striking, consisting of one type of flower (small purple orchids) that are not toxic to cats, which the recipients have- so suitable in several ways. I ordered the flowers by telephone from (I believe) the St. Mary's location, where a very nice woman checked to see that she did indeed have those particular flowers in stock, and that they would be delivered the next day. I gave her the recipients address, which was to a town just outside Raleigh. The next morning at 10:30, I discovered a voice-mail left at 8:30 telling me that the flowers were not in stock, and if they did not hear from me by "lunchtime" they would deliver an all white arrangement of their choice. I immediately called to be told that this was another location, that the first location did not deliver to the nearby town, that this location did not have the flowers and that, in addition, since they had other deliveries going out, they had already delivered a white arrangement and that the recipients had them. I demanded a refund and will see if I get it. This order went wrong in a number of ways despite my feeling that I did everything I could to get just what I wanted. The recipient texted me a picture of the flowers- a medium sized vase of casually arranged white flowers that were pretty, but nothing special for the price I paid, not at all what I wanted, that will have to go in a glass cabinet so as not to be potentially toxic to their cat, as a number of flowers are. I was quite disappointed and doubt I will order from Fallon's again. read more

Horrible customer service. Scheduled a flower delivery to the hospital. They do not deliver directly to the room so leave at a front desk. Flowers never made it to the recipient. Talked to the hospital, nurses, front desk and they claim they do not have. Fallons refused to provide me with a refund or credit. Only option was to deliver the flowers again back to the front desk where surely it would again not be received. Very disappointed with fallons response to correct this and lack of responsibility. I would not suggest ordering from here if this is a gift to be sent to the hospital. read more

My best friend sent me a gorgeous arrangement of white roses and lilies in January 10th. It was lush and it made my office smell heavenly for well over a week. After a week the lilies began to fade. Then the orchid buds dropped. I am at day 19 and the white roses are only now starting to go. It is rare to have a beautiful arrangement that can go strong for 19 days! Fallon's failed to deliver my Valentine's Day flowers. Even after calling at 6 pm they didn't make any attempt to deliver that day and just requested if we wanted them the next day or a refund. They ruined a complete surprise that never happened and thoroughly disappointed my boyfriend as he kept waiting for me to receive my flowers before 5 pm which never happened. The lady even said the order and bouquet was right there and was nonchalant and didn't seem concerned that they dropped the ball on a Valentine's present. I needed a bunch of small floral arrangements with less than 24 hours notice. I was able to order, pay online and pick up the same day. Delivery was also an option! Some substitutes with flowers needed to be made due to it being slow season but I did not even notice the flower change choices. I had placed an order for flowers to be delivered on Valentines Day. They were scheduled to be delivered to my wife's office (less than a mile from their location), but when they had not arrived at 5 when her office closed, I called and they said they were out for delivery, but they could send them to a backup address. About an hour later they called to say that they couldn't even do that and offered to send them the next day. I understand they are a business, and mistakes happen, but why sell something that you cannot provide on the day promised? Why say that you can have it delivered at a backup address when you cannot? Why care just a little bit when I call to cancel the order after you didn't deliver on Valentines Day? I have only ordered one other time from Fallon's and it went well (hence the 2 stars). I called and placed the order and spelled the recipients name twice. Received the receipt via email and saw the name was misspelled. Called back 3 times to have the the recipients name corrected and was told they would fix it/it was fixed each time. The "new" receipt never showed a corrected name. But I was assured every call that it was spelled correctly. Flowers delivered, and the name was still misspelled. There final bill was also $25 more than advertised on the website.
