I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the floral arrangements for my wedding from Daniels Florist by Katie. It was exactly what I wanted and I am so happy with the flowers and eucalyptus. I will definitely be going back for any flower needs and I am so appreciative of the beauty of the flowers in my special day.

Been to this florist twice in the past 4 months and received great service both times. I'm able to put together a personalized bouquet of flowers and that's what I like to do. The recipient of the flowers was satisfied each time! I like the variety of flowers. Katie was patient and polite and makes the flowers look pretty every time. The place was clean and organized. They also sell roses and arrangements. There are some gift items inside as well. Welcoming store, nice staff, and convenient location. Would recommend to anyone who likes to pick what they want.

I haven't purchased anything from Daniel's yet.I have, however, seen a few of their arrangements and simply loved them. Wonderful assortment of flowers - some you don't normally see - and beautiful designs. I will, most assuredly, be visiting them to find some treasures. read more

I walked in desperately looking for prom a boutonnière and corsage. Unfortunately, they were swamped with Mother's Day and all of the proms happening. They were able to sell me the flowers I needed and I was able to create my own using the flowers I bought and the corsage packaging. Their customer service was 100% appreciated as I was in a huge bind trying to get what I needed. I would totally come here again. read more

I've been a regular customer of Daniel's since early 2020, and in that time I've purchased dozens of arrangements. I've always been happy with their prompt, friendly, and reliable service. But more important than that is their level of expertise in floral arranging. Anyone can start a business as a florist, but it takes a lot of skill to carefully select the best flowers from your suppliers, ones that look great and have a long shelf life after they are delivered. I've also relied on Daniel's artistic ability to do unique designs - letting the florist decide on what will make the best arrangement. An example is the photo shown here of our Thanksgiving table runner just delivered yesterday. A great shop, and if you are a discerning flower shopper, you'll be happy with Daniel's. read more

My husband ordered me the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen in my life for my first Mother's Day and it took my breath away. He had asked for a couple of my favorite flowers and it was honestly the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. In the past I have called Daniels florist and told them how much my budget is and asked him to surprise me and they have never disappointed! I did the same thing for my mom for Mother's Day this year and her bouquet was just as equally gorgeous even when I ordered it one day before Mother's Day! read more

Because of Hurricane Matthew, the original plans for my daughter's wedding were canceled... venue, flowers, everything. We had to make alternate arrangements in less than 24 hours. Being an out-of-towner and not knowing local vendors, I looked up local florists and Daniel's came up with great reviews. I arrived just after they opened, explained my emergency situation, and they put together a beautiful bouquet for my daughter and found one white rose for the groom's lapel. Despite the heavy rain, wind, and loss of power, we had a beautiful wedding. Thank you to the folks at Daniel's Florist for adding to the success of our day!! read more

This was our second wedding in two years. And you know what happens. The first child picked her choices and the second one refused to consider any of her choices - except Daniel and the wedding cake person. Daniel came to the venue about a month in advance and looked it over. He knew the seating plans, when certain tables had to move for the ceremony and he even added greenery on the banisters outside. You couldn't find a surface that didn't have one of his creations and several candles. And my wife tells me he was the least expensive florist by far. Nothing but raves from the guests. We took most of the flowers home and there is nary a wilt anywhere. The bride's bouquet is as fresh six days later as the day she got it. We can't say enough superlatives. I have run out of daughters, but we are talking him up in Durham. read more

Daniel's Florist made us the most gorgeous wedding party bouquets I have ever seen. They were absolutely stunning and perfectly combined my vision of wild flowers and upscale urban. The owner has an incredible gift with colors and is very creative and knowledgeable - so when our colo scheme changed at the last minute, i was no problem for her. We specialize in flowers for weddings, birthdays, corporate event arrangements,funerals, anniversaries, holidays and any other occasion you may have. We carry handmade local soaps, bath bombs, candles and more. We also have house plants, succulents and air plants. Do you want just a single stem flower? We do that too!

History

Established in 1991.

Daniel's Florist opened it's doors in the Swift Creek Shopping center in June 1996 and has grown to be loved and regularly visited by the local community and surrounding area. In December of 2017 Dan retired and sold the shop to Kimberly who has since renovated it and put her own touch on it.
