The staff are funny and friendly. I ordered the potato salad - which was good and the rib sandwich - which was dry. But overall the food was good. The restaurant is clean and spacious for groups. They have a salad bar and drive through.

I was staying in Thomasville for a fsu football game. I figured this was the kind of small south Georgia town that would have amazing BBQ. This was the only non-chain BBQ restaurant I found and unfortunately it didn't really win me over. Let's start with the good. The service was absolutely amazing! Absolutely no complaints for the staff. Even the other customers were great with recommendations. The server recommended the combo thing that has a few different meats, 2 sides and drinks. The bbq was mostly dry and not hot. We had the pork, brisket and chicken. The mac and cheese was ok, but dry. The Brunswick stew was sweet which I didn't like. However the other customers loved it so if you are interested in sweet stew then you should try it. We also had the fried pickles which were pretty good and the fried mushrooms which were ok. The package was supposed to come with ribs but they didn't have any so didn't get to try that. Same goes for the banana pudding. All in all, I felt it was very average bbq.

When we visit a city, seeking out a local BBQ joint is fairly high on my food priority list. Fallins BBQ did not disappoint! Family owned & operated, the entire family was at work. We greatly enjoyed a friendly chat. We let staff make our food decisions for us, and are so glad they did. The Banana Puddin' for dessert hit the right spot too. Definitely worth a visit!

On my way to Valdosta, I wanted to check out the BBQ in Thomasville. I chose Fallin's because of the 4 star rating on Yelp and the photos looked BBQ-rific. It's so sad that it turned out to be disappointing. My disappointment with Fallin's was the one thing you have to make sure you get right with BBQ and that is the meat. I ordered burnt ends brisket and asked for some pulled pork to be thrown on the plate. To their credit, they did add pulled pork to my plate and only for a $3 charge. I should have stopped there because both of my meats were D-R-Y! It was chewable and edible. It actually had a decent taste to it but it was just way too dry. It looked so promising and failed epically. Now that I have that out of the way, I want to be fair and talk about what was good. There are 3 BBQ sauces that were pretty good - sweet, mustard, and a peppery tomato base on the medium side for me. The mac and cheese was baked homemade. The slaw was really good as it was chopped and creamy. The toast had a garlic butter on it. My sweet tea was sweet and refreshing. Fallin's has a feel of a locally owned mom and pop place. I wonder if it has been a family owned business for many years. I do say they did get creative with their menu names. I did enjoy seeing the photo on the wall on the way out of the Auburn wide receiver almost being bit by UGA. No I am not a Georgia fan. I just hate Auburn. Roll Tide! I would want to say that I wish this was just a one-time experience and I was just the unlucky winner about the dry meat. But I see other reviews about the BBQ being too dry. I have definitely had worse BBQ but I will not be back to Fallin's to have dry BBQ.

I had just arrived to Thomasville and was in the mood for some good southern hospitality and food. I was greeted by the most adorable, cute and sweet southern blonde gal. A wonderful smile and accent to match. My food arrived mighty quickly and each item was grand. A special note and superb score on the beans, sliced brisket and pudding. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Pulled pork, Brunswick stew, and collard greens.

This is a really good place. I enjoyed it quite a bit. You can tell that it is locally owned. They aren't flashy or trying to be. Just a normal restaurant that sells the best food they know how to make. I went with my friends, and we shared our food. The Brunswick stew tasted like beef vegetable soup - which is not necessarily a bad thing. I just expected it to be a little different. The collard greens had a good flavor. Not overwhelming, but a light vinegar taste. A solid option. The chopped pork was really good. Had a good char and good smokey flavor. The burnt ends were actually burnt. Which is what you want in burnt ends. The sweet tea was legit. They make their own sauces. And they had four different ones to choose from. One was mustard based. One was a "hot sauce." One was "regular." The other was a mild. I could not tell what the base of the bbq sauces was. But they had a distinctive zing to them. It was familiar but I couldn't place it. Either way - they were really good. The banana pudding was seriously some of the best I've ever had in my entire life. Overall, I give it 4*. It was really good, but it didn't blow my doors off. I'd definitely go back and enjoy it.

Less than meets the eye.

Will not be going back. Cleanliness and hygiene seemed to be an issue as well as not very good food. Save yourself the trouble.

Got their version of BamBam Shrimp on a bed of greens.to start. Presentation was on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce, no side plates were offered, and we used our single paper napkin to keep our silverware off the table and wipe our mouths. No linen napkins. I did surf n turf, medium well which most kitchens struggle with. No different here, cooked well all the way through. Baked potato was genuinely cool to the touch. Collard greens were excessively seasoned with vinegar. Not good at all. The presentation was shockingly bad, one side on my plate had a rim of black pepper, the other side had a rim of butter from the shrimp, that's my best guess. Shockingly bad. My wife ordered ribeye medium rare. The outer part was well done and the inside was very rare, cook temperature way too high. Baked potato cool to the touch again. From my seat the kitchen looked chaotic and undisciplined, no quality control at the pass at all, no floor manager present anywhere to be seen. Sometimes my view was blocked by employees clocking in to work. This table should be the last to be assigned period. Non culinary folks could find easy ways to improve this place, linen napkins, side plates, hot food, precision cooking etc. The lack of oversight for the food preparation and presentation of the food killed the experience for sure, no supervision or management of the kitchen and food.

French bread toasted and topped with fried oysters, poached eggs, and a Cajun cream sauce. So delicious and perfectly prepared. Bloody Mary paired very well with this dish! French cut pork chop, blackened, and topped with mango chutney! So tender and juicy! I chose collard greens as one side and they have that true southern taste! Red beans and rice as the second side...a personal favorite. We sat outside as it has a great vibe since it's located at an old train depot! If you're lucky a train will pass by while you're dining! Service is nice and servers are very attentive. You can also sit in the Bar Mason and get fabulous service as well and order off of the menu as if you were in the restaurant or sitting outside. Well, the pizza at AJ Moonspin was worth our drive up from Tallahassee! It was so over the top that we drove up again a few weeks later to bring family to try it as well. If you're a fan of sourdough, you will fall in love with the crust at AJ Moonspin. The tart bite of sourdough flavor permeates every bite of their crispy crust. I usually only eat the middles of my pizza slices, and leave the crust on my plate. This time... I ate every last bite. My husband went for classic pizza flavors with the Hunter's Moon , I indulged in lighter fare ordering the Harvest Moon. We should have brought a spare tummy with us because after we devoured the cheese bread, we were ready to roll out to our car. Regardless of the pizza you select, you will be "over the moon". Both of pizzas arrived quickly and well-made. Despite being very busy, the service was outstanding as there was always someone attentive to our needs. We brought our leftovers home with us and enjoyed them again the next day where they were just as good as the dining experience. You always know your food is well prepared when you can reheat it at home and still enjoy it as much as you did during a dine in experience. Helpful hint... Use your air fryer to reheat your pizza slices and the crust will stay crispy. If only the restaurant was closer to home, it would become our new takeout spot. Definitely put AJ Moonspin on your list of pizza joints to try. Your experience will be out of this world!

I would really love the recipe!!! As far as my server went, we'll she spent more time talking to her boyfriend than she did taking care of my family. My family is very important to me and they come to visit me twice a year because they live in Italy. When they do come, I bring them here. We sat at a table with 7 people. At this time you all were not busy. Our server stood at the table which we learned later was her boyfriend. At that time my niece had dropped her drink and fries on accident on the floor. A young lady with a hat on stopped and helped clean the floor up and made another drink and made sure to get another order of fries for us. My server at this time was not even to be found. I stopped the lady who helped us to thank her and she was so nice and so pleasant and I asked for her name and it was Gina. Very sweet young lady. She told me she worked in the back, but would help with anything else. I told her we was great. I wish we could have tipped her for her going above and beyond to help me and my out of town family. She was great. I will ask for her when I come back. After she left our server FINALLY showed back up and we explained to her what happened. Honesty all I could smell was cigarette smoke. I'm not sure of her name, but she was a young white female with glasses and tattoos. I believe it began with a "N". Now I did leave her a $5 tip only because I feel obligated to do that, but in reality the young lady Gine helped us more. I'm telling you this information so in hopes it will help in some kind of way. Other than that, I love the update you all have done!!! Looks so good and inviting now!!
