The manager was very young, so she had no idea and never came out to offer an explanation . I was just told I need a "real military ID". That was offensive and Melrose needs to educate their staff as to all forms of Tx and military issues ID. Needless to say I will not return! The young lady at the register was very nice not her fault at all.

We chatted with the employee (whose name I don't recall at the moment) and she told us they could validate our parking for us. So nice! I have been to other clothing boutiques, so I kind of anticipated the prices to be on the higher side. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the clothes were on the same price range as other big brand plus sized clothing stores, but this is local so even better! There were a variety of shirts, dresses, tunics, skirts, pants, jackets, and they even have accessories! We were told they get new items in almost weekly, so that's great. They even had a decent sized sale rack when I was there. Since it was in the 90s to100s Temps we had to get water at least 2 times. This place is not nearby our hotel but it was worth the walk but if you're out was at night, better to take a cab or Lyft when you buy those big sizes of water. And if u take the longer route through the mall & riverwalk during the day or early evening &if it's near your hotel.

They refused our return. The man helped us this time and said he doesn't know "why she lied" and it's exchange only. They refused to let us return it even though we had asked less then 30 minutes before. We also were thinking to do our exchange at other store bc this one was terrible and he told us we aren't allowed to. No other store will take our exchange it has to be the one you bought the items at. I will absolutely be calling corporate. Even if I don't get a refund they need to train their people better, why would she lie??! I will NEVER spend money at this company again. This is super clean and nice but they don't have dressing rooms. Also they watch you if you go to the bathroom (went before we even started shopping and didn't have any cloths and they watched us the entire time.)

Unfortunately my dog barked a few times and, I kid you not, about 10 employees gathered around to watch one of the workers tell me to leave because of my puppy. It's understandable to ask me to leave if she was barking a lot, but the demeanor they did it in was extremely humiliating especially considering the fact I drove so long to get over here and there's literally NOTHING anywhere posted that says no dogs allowed. Really stupid. Maybe post a sign or something so people don't come here and waste their time.
