If there was only one store I could shop for the rest of my life, it would probably be Target. However, I am not sure if it would be this Target in particular. This location has had some very much deserved TLC over the last few years, and it is probably one of the most "modern" looking Targets in San Antonio. This location has everything and anything you can imagine and more! From plants, to home decoration, groceries, clothing, school supplies, you name it! However, the main reason why I am not giving them a full five stars is because of the way this location has their product placement. They have items from the same category spread in two separate locations. Why? My guess it that they want customers to walk all over the store to find products. Here is one example, I was looking for Jurassic World toys for my kid and they had them spread in two locations of the store (toy section and a random path in other section of the store). Another example would be their school supplies sections which again was spread between two different locations, making us go back and forth to get what we actually needed. I would prefer if they had everything in one place and just let customers shop a little more efficiently instead of making us guess where the second part of what we are looking for is actually located. read more

I stopped into Target for the first time all year and the first time to this location. I was looking for a couple specific items, but I stopped at the restroom first. There was a man standing there in front of the door and he tells me the restroom is closed and I can use the one by the pharmacy while pointing off in the distance. I ask him if someone is in there and he says yes, but if he let's me in then he has to let everyone else in and again he directs me to the pharmacy. I'm irritated now and really need to use the bathroom so I tell him that and he finally moves. After this I left and did not even buy anything I was so disgusted. I don't plan on going back to this or any Target. read more

I waited over 10 minutes for a mobile order that was marked as ready for pickup. No one ever brought it out, and when I tried calling the store after the wait, no one answered. I eventually had to go inside to get the order myself even then had to wait for the order. If drive up service isn't available or properly staffed, it shouldn't be offered or at the very least, don't mark orders as ready. This was a frustrating experience that could've been avoided. read more

This is a really good target! We had a nice experience here and found some great stuff on sale. I love target tanks and ended up getting a swimsuit that was half off too. We had a pool party and I didn't have a swimsuit on me. This one was complicated to get on (don't ask!) but the lady in the dressing room let me wear it under my clothes and walked me to the checkout station. We ended up getting groceries, swimsuits, tank tops, flowers, oh, and Starbucks coffee all at this location. It was convenient and a nice deal! Very nice employees too! read more

Went on Labor Day and while there were tons of cars in the parking lot, it wasn't that crowded inside. Service was fine. Lots of great clothing on sale for the holiday. I was able to get a ton of great clothes for about $100. Dressing room was very clean and well lit. read more

While trying to find the Wonderland Mall we saw this giant Target and decided to go inside and take a look around. This Target is pretty huge and long. It's clean and things seemed to be well organized. Their toy section though, has no sales even tho the shelves were mostly empty of any toys. Parking is a large lot shared with the rest of the mall area so it was pretty crowded. read more

Sadly, I'm not a Target fan any longer. They have higher prices, & the stores just don't seem to be kept clean. I went in to get my daughter her baby gift bag from them, & they're out of them, still. I don't have a Target near my home, so it's annoying to travel across town for a few items, (yes, besides the free thing!), and they're out of items, or people have rummaged through them. Came here looking for a legal pad. A wonderful employee by the name of "Otis" pointed me to stationary. Once in that section I asked the first employee and he said that he didn't know what a legal pad was. I didn't make a big deal although I was a little stunned by his ignorance. Then I ran into another employee and asked him if he knew where the legal pads were. He too claimed not to know what such artifact may be. I proceeded to describe it. He immediately said that they didn't carry those at all. I immediately went online to confirm his claim and 100% false. I took a while but eventually found them. These guys who claimed ignorance as a cop out to assisting customers is shameful. I was gonna give them 0 stars but Otis in the front saved the store some face. read more

Love the Wonderland Target, however CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS. 10:00 Sep 8-18. I refrained from using the woman's restroom because it was so filthy. Feces here and there on the toilet paper dispensers, used tampons, toilet paper as well as pregnancy test on floor. Every stall was filthy and had been used and not flushed. The sinks had toilet paper on them and the floor had not been swept or mopped in god knows how long. When I looked at the last time it was signed off to be cleaned it was 9/7/18 at 10:30a.m. It's the next day at 10 pm at night. Just nasty. Here are the photos below. read more

Visited this location on yesterday morning, 01/05 @ around 9AM CST, to return a Ninja pressure cooker, unused and unopened, with receipt in tow and was met with theee most lack luster customer service I've ever experienced at a Target location. The young lady assured me there was nothing she could do to assist me getting a refund, which I felt was not correct, and when asked if a manager was present to possibly look further into the matter I was met with "if they try, it would be the same outcome." Low and behold, the service line was growing so in an effort to not be a burden, I took what I felt was false information and opted to visit another location to complete my transaction. At the other Target location, which was a substantial distance away, I relayed the experience to the gentleman at the customer service desk who resolved the minor issue in a matter of a couple of minutes as the "problem" was only my receipt missing a SINGLE number/ digit due to a printing error where I originally purchased. I'm not advocating for the rep to be severely punished, as I've withheld their name, but there needs to be coaching or some sort of advising so that another individual will not be inconvenienced due to someone's complete lack of effort in aiding a loyal customer. read more

Convenience is key. My closest grocery store is this Target, and for the most part, it's great for a quick grab and go. Compared to other grocery stores, Target is more of an expensive Wal-Mart, and has all your basic necessities. The staff usually sticks to the front, and they leave you to your own devices. read more

Target is an amazing black hole for my checkbook but I love it. It's a Super Target so it's very large and has a wide range of products. I have a Target Red debit card so I love the additional 5% off every purchase. I also utilize the Cartwheel app and with all my discounts combined; I can save around $20-$30. The clearance sections at this location are always amazing and I can always find some hidden gems. The furniture has gotten pricey over the past few years which is unfortunate. Check your receipt and pay attention when they scan your items. Twice in a row they over charged me . The kid was lazy to call manager to give me item 50% off as it showed . Just check receipt. No two stores are alike. I certainly believe this. For example the Target by North Star Mall is totally definite than this location. It seems a bit disorganized. However, the one on Fredricksburg is user friendly and the staff are extremely professional here. The store as you might imagine is big. You can purchase just about anything here, that helps if you go here and god forbid have to go to the Wal-mart on Vance Jackson. They have a pretty diverse selection of stuff in there deli. You need to but detergent and forgot to buy at HEB, no problem they got you here. Need coffee, razors, craft beers. Craft Beers? Yes they got you. They have electronics, TVs, Pacman t-shirts, shoes. The stuff changes seasonally and during the holidays. Want to get your Boo some flowers and don't want to be left in the doghouse, they got you. Need Christmas gifts at real good prices. Come on down! St. Patrick's Day items. You know where to go. In addition as the weather changes you can buy coats for winter, ice chests and flip-flops for summer. And they have name brand stuff by Converse, Miztrahi etc. The check out lanes are pretty quick and they get you in and out efficiently. And if you don't want to go shopping with your significant other you can get a slushie, Pizza Hut or a cup of coffee at their Starbuck's, which is really helpful. It is for the most part clean and lanes never get clogged with too much traffic. Especially during the holidays, which seems to be the most stressful time. This location is good. It is different than other Target's I have frequented. Recently, I went to the Target again by North Star Mall and it was a mess. And to top it off their Starbuck's ran out of coffee. That is usually a good indicator of the service you will get in the rest of the store. Unlike the Target's on Fredricksburg Road, the coffee never runs out nor does the good service. read more

This Target is somewhat conveniently located at the "10's" intersection(410/IH-10) and Fredricksburg Rd. The whole freeway interchange makes it "somewhat". Getting back on the freeway can be a booger! It is really close to the medical center area. The store has all your groceries and household items, TVs, toys, and clothes. Plenty of parking in front of the store and next to a hotel. Came here and found something on clearance, bought it, but later on found it at another Target for $11 cheaper on clearance too. It was clean when I passed through and is your typical Target. I liked the fact that when I stopped by, there wasn't a whole lot of people. I used a self-checkout lane. read more

Target drive up is fantastic! I allowed location services and they walked up as soon as we drove up. Sure, certain items are unavailable for pickup, but the app is good at telling you that, as well as if they have items in stock or available at other stores. The only thing I noticed is that was a bit odd was there was no selection for horror movies in electronics, I know in this day and age who needs dvds anymore right? It's a Target.... not much different than the others really.... this one in San Antonio is a bit larger than the Targets located in California, the aisles are wide and there is SO much to browse through. The staff here seem attentive and helpful (maybe a difference from many locations I've been to). The few times I visited during the Holidays, it never seemed crazy crowded. A Super Target - whoo hoo! We don't get these in Los Angeles. They are trying to put groceries in all the Targets, but it's not the same as a the full blown Super Target version. It competes well with the Super Wal-mart and is cleaner, neater and less stressful. read more

Great size, but I've been here several times and was unable to find what I was specifically looking for.. For instance Petes coffee twice now they were completely out. They have horrible selection and usually out of stock on the method hand soaps. The staff is friendly. Got some neat house knick knacks for decent price. They need to work on organizing, for instance the cleaning stuff for kitchen is by the laundry but the air fresheners, mops etc are like way across and no where near the laundry and kitchen cleaning. Wouldn't it make sense to put anything household cleaning within the same rows and nearby aisles? Anyway just a few weird quirks but overall a decent target I'll be back. read more

Love this Target. Went in today and it is always clean. The dressing room attendant was very helpful and offered to assist when exchanges in sizes and with the items that didn't work. We also went through the holiday section, love the unique selection of ornaments for the season and can't wait until the others are also out! They have a great selection of not only Christmas items but also thanksgiving items still. I also appreciate that Target has Shopkicks where I can get points just for walking in and shopping there.
