We are a military family that wanted communication and respect, and we did not get that from the day we walked out the store. These ppl want your money, they do not want to help you. We purchased a bedroom set: king bed, dresser, mirror, and 2 nightstands. $1,900 total, purchased and paid in full EARLY September. We were told 3-4 weeks for delivery. When 5 weeks came and we hadn't heard from this company, a sales associate, or manager, we called them, they said 2 more weeks. Mind you we had already purchased our mattress, so we had a king mattress sitting in our house for 5 weeks. My husband had to ask them to bring the king bed NOW, since that was ALL they had. It is now January 19th and we STILL have not received the rest of our order. So from September to January (4 months) we have been asking this company when we would receive our furniture that we had fully paid for. We got the run around even to this day as to who is in charge, who can give us a refund, and how to get ANY customer service! Again please save your money and avoid the headache this place and these ppl will give you! They are disrespectful as heck! The assistant in the office Lori or Laurie is extremely rude, and could give a f*** less what happens to you and your money! She looked at us when we walked in as if she would've appreciated it if we simply walked away- instead of helping us and caring that we hadn't received furniture we were told would arrive months ago. I have been waiting to write this review for months due to how horrible this experience has been. I ordered my furniture in September of last year, and paid for it in full. I ordered a king bedroom set which consisted of a bed, dresser, mirror, and two nightstands. I was told everything but the nightstands would be ready in four weeks, and then the nightstands would be there in six weeks. Fast forward to DECEMBER, and I had to call them and ask what in the world was going on! They said they only had the king bed frame and that's it. They delivered it and then said January for the rest of it. So now we are in January! I basically go to the place and try and figure out what's going on. The most unpleasant woman in retail named Lorie basically tells us oh well, gotta wait for a manager. Zero help, zero empathy. We are currently pursuing a refund, and we'll see how that goes. I had to stop there once and called twice. On my visit there they said that it was going to be here on a Wednesday..they did say which Wednesday. "DON"T BUY FROM THEM". I ordered from the liquidation guys and spent over $3,000 on furniture. I waited the first 2 weeks for my furniture. Finally, went it arrived some of the furniture was damaged. The dresser and the chest needed to be replaced. The liquidation guys told me it would take another 2 weeks to replace the items. I waited and waited, still nothing and now its been 4 weeks. I called the liquidation guys and they told me the items were on backorder even though I was suppose to receive it by today and I would not be receiving them for another 2 weeks. That's over a month from what they promised and I have that in writing! The sales rep even asked us why can't we use the damage chest, because it didn't look as damaged to him. Damage is damage! BEWARE!!! We just moved to the area were looking for a new bed for our daughter. We looked around a few different places before we stumbled on this store. Customer service was good, and prices were amazing. We ended up buying a new bed. We were sent to a different location to pick it up. We arrived and had to wait for the gentleman to finish helping the customer in front of us. As he started looking for our items, it seemed like it was taking longer than it should have. After about 30-40 minutes, we had to leave to get our kids from school. We were told he would call when he found it. As we were driving, we received a call from the man that sold us the bed, saying that he was sorry that the bed was not in stock like the computer had said they had 2. He said they would order it and it would be in next week...that was 3 weeks ago that we ordered the bed. I called last week to check on the status...after talking to 2 different people, I get the answer "they pushed the date back again; it will be here next week". At two weeks they said they never agreed on what day the sectional would be delivered. Constantly could not get a order status because of computer issues. Lastly, at delivery appointment they mentioned an extra 100$ for deliver that was never mentioned prior. When I spoke to employees they implied that they did let me know. Manger said he would not take responsibility due to a he said/ she said situation on behalf of his employee and me. I'm pretty sure I gamed the system by purchasing my new sectional from The Liquidation Guys. I want to shout from the rooftops (particularly from the Rooms-to-Go rooftop..) that you CAN buy a sofa without a ridic mark-up! Click-bait alert: You'll never believe how this girl saved $$$ on her furniture! First, don't buy at the store. I KNOW. I was hesitant at first to hand over my money to a not entirely user-friendly website like theliquidationguys.com. I picked out my couch and then headed over to the storefront to see if maybe they'd order it for me so I would for sure not screw it up. The salesman there was very informative about the ordering process and terms like LAF, RAF which is really helpful when buying a sectional but he said if I wanted something from the site, I'd have to order it myself. Then he showed me around their floor and I noticed the sofas were priced noticeably higher than the website. I let him know I'd be ordering online (which was not what he wanted to hear). Putting 2 + 2 together, they don't get commission from online orders. Next, you gotta take the leap and order it online. For sectionals, you have to buy the pieces individually so be careful. You'll get an email soon after that a rep will get to you within a week to set up delivery. THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. They'll call you whenever the stuff gets delivered to them via Ashley or Serta warehouse. For some people this will be an issue and I get it, you just handed over hundreds of dollars. But since I wasn't in immediate need for a sofa, it wasn't a huge deal for me. One caveat, my sofa didn't get delivered to me for over a month due to a back-up at the Ashley warehouse. Whenever I called for an update, the rep was very polite, apologetic and informative. So. How good of a deal did I get? I was initially looking at a smaller sectional at Rooms-to-Go which came out to $1200-ish with tax and delivery. I paid around $800 for a larger sectional with delivery. AND it's amazing quality. AND the delivery from the store-front was fast and friendly. I should get an award for this. But I'll settle for my chic, ridiculously comfy couch. read more

Please read if you're planning on buying furniture from the Liquidation Guys: I decided to check this place out and see what kind of furniture they had. I went in and was immediately greeted with awesome customer service. I ordered a 4-piece bedroom set and mattress and was told 2 week delivery. I had to call to follow up regarding the delivery because I hadn't heard anything. They said they had all the items and we scheduled a Monday delivery. Monday morning rolled around and I received 3 separate phone calls stating they didn't have the bed I ordered and they made a mistake. The warehouse manager sent me 3 texts of different beds until I found a comparable one. Upon delivery, the night stand was broken and they forgot the mattress. The Liquidation Guys sent another team out to deliver the mattress but it was the wrong mattress. The guy on the phone told me I was wrong and asked how I knew it was the wrong mattress... I told him I ordered Featherest as indicated on my receipt and I was delivered another brand. The mattress that was delivered had STAINS and was so uncomfortable. The guy told me the manager would call me back that night. I called right before store closing and they said he had a family emergency but he would call soon... Still waiting for a call. They delivered the correct mattress the following day with the new nightstand. I never received a phone call from the manager. Pretty crappy customer service after they run your card. Walked in, found a couch I liked, and paid the $49 to get the 90 days no interest if paid in full. The sales lady said that they didn't have it in stock and that they needed to order it. She said she was going to call me 1 week later to give me an update and never called me. I waited 3 weeks and no response. I called the company and they said there was a delay in the shipment and nothing has come in. They have horrible customer service for not notifying me that there was going to be about a month delay. About a month and a half later and calling them 2 times a week, they finally tell me that the couch I wanted was no longer made and that I only had a choice of 1 other style. I understand that this place sells old stuff and this probably happens a lot when it's no longer made. But my biggest complaint is the fact that no one contacted me as a courtesy or to even apologize for the delay. I cancelled the loan and took my business elsewhere. Lost out on $49 for that loan application and learned a lesson to just stick with rooms to go. read more

I like discount furniture outlets and don't have high expectations when I visit them, but this one is simply odd. I came in to view couches I had seen online expecting that some may not be on display (none were). But as soon as I told the sales guy I was interested in an online item he told me that a different salesperson handled those and couldn't be bothered to help me get more info on the items I sought. What is the management here thinking? Customers don't care whose commission is at stake and that nonsense should be invisible to us. Took over two months to get it finally first delivery they didn't have the love seat, second delivery they tore up the couch coming up to my second floor apartment because they sent a sales guy and his under age son to deliver it. Huge Con Artists! We were going to pay upfront for all merchandise because we buying a house and didn't want our credit run, or merchandise adding to our income to debt ratio. Before we made the purchase we wanted to discuss it and began to walk out the story. Just then the sales manager offered a 5 month payment option; and promised there would be no finance charges. Come to find out the 5 payment option was a lease option; with a balloon payment of 1000.00 at the end of a lease. Unfortunately, I didn't see the little fine print; until after paying my 5th month payment; which was a total of $1500.00 on the merchandise. This items is not work more than retail of $1500. I knew something was wrong, and should have went with my gut feeling; but as a guy with integrity and honesty, I took the sales manager's word for it. Turns out now I have to pay $1000.00 additional on the balloon payment or they will report it to my credit report. The employees here do not care about you; all they want to do is sale the item; because once they sale it it goes to third party financial company. Something the sales people did not say, and lied about too. They said payments would be taken out of our debit card automatically; and at the end of the 5 payment term the items would be ours; never mentioned a balloon payment. Ok, so this was my first time ever purchasing furniture. I went to Conns awhile back and just didn't like the way they were treating me and the price of things. I ended up selling a vehicle to one of the Representatives at the Liquidation Guys, April. Well long story short, I talked to her about furniture and she gave me her business card. Slept on it and decided to go in on my day off. Came in, saw some furniture I liked, explored financing options with her and then sealed the deal! Ordered sofa and loveseat on a Tuesday, and was told it would be delivered that Friday. I called the store to confirm delivery, and was told the furniture would not be in until the following Monday. Called Monday to confirm the furniture was available, and was told it would not be in until Wednesday. I called Tuesday afternoon to confirm it would be available the next day, and was told by a different person that it probably wouldn't be in until Thursday. I called my credit card company and had the order disputed as I was told no refunds could be made by the company. NEVER AGAIN! Terrible company!!! read more

My girlfriend and I went yesterday evening to look around for couches. We just moved into an apartment and have a really small living room so our options were limited. We were just planning on "looking", but the sales rep CARL was so nice and helpful we knew this is where we would buy our furniture. We both look young and have tattoos and are usually judged immediately based on appearance, but as soon as we walked in Carl walked right up to us with a smile and said, " how can I help you guys today?" At other stores we get a stare and the rep walks away. He walked us around and showed us all of our options, answered all of my questions, and checked on the prices of certain couches without ever showing any sign of annoyance or frustration. He even pulled out the bed of a sleeper sofa I was considering to show me the ease of the "pull out". The check out ladies , Sabrina and Selina, were awesome as well. The whole checkout process took maybe about 20-30 minutes and said my couch would be delivered 2 days later. HOW AWESOME?! They too answered all my questions to my satisfaction and didn't treat me any different than Carl did. The whole experience was just amazing and I wasn't expecting any of that at all. We literally just came out of this store. We were there around 2pm Friday afternoon. What terrible service. We were never greeted so whatever we decided to look at the furniture because we were very interested in buying multiple pieces. We walked around the entire warehouse and saw some pieces we liked. We went back to the front of the store to see if someone would help us. Nobody came out. The guy that sits at the desk immediately to your right when you walk in didn't even look up. This one woman popped up and welcomed the woman that just came in after us. And then just continued to look at us. They lost a big sale. My mom always wanted to check this place out.
