Very great service! Our order came in earlier before they assumed so we were happy to bring home our new forever furniture!

Trash customer service, table chair broke in the first month I had it and manager was a complete jerk about replacing it!

Will never shop at this store again. Walked in one day and purchased over $12K at this location and paid over $450 delivery fee - all cash. After delivery, we figured out the owner made a mistake and when we tried to have it corrected she wouldn't budge. She sold us an incorrect size of a particular product and it didn't fit correctly with another item she sold us. When we tried to have it corrected, the item WAS replaced however we were still charged 100% for a second delivery fee of $460. !!! We were stuck. We had to have the item replaced because it just didn't fit. The owner's store manager admitted the item that didn't fit should never have been sold to us and delivered however the owner played "hard ball" and wouldn't deliver the correct item at her expense... which she should have. We ended up stuck paying a second delivery fee. This store's delivery fees are outrageous! (Just look at past Yelp reviews.). HORRIBLE customer service!! Her staff was so embarrassed with her behavior...and she never had the guts to speak to us directly during this whole ordeal. She made her store manager "deal" with us the entire time and I felt so bad for him. He was sooo embarrassed. Anyhow, we now have $12k worth of her furniture and we're now also noticing the quality is not that great. Never again will we set foot in The Rustic Mile. read more

This store is amazing! I purchased a living room set and once unwrapped I found a stitching problem on the head rest of the couch. I called the store told them the situation and they advised me to send an email to the store manager with pictures of the stitching. I sent the email and within 3 minutes I received a call from the store manager Thomas. He advised me to take the back off the couch and bring to him and he will replace it with another. This customer service was AMAZING. I have never received service to a problem that fast and easy. I will be a regular shopper of this store due to their exceptional customer service. The guy who approached me didnt seem enthused to assist me. I told him the dimensions I was seeking 32.5x16inches or bigger. Height didn't matter. Just needed something for that tank to sit on. I enquired about delivery while looking at a tv stand. He told me the price. I thought it was all reasonable. I would have gone ahead and bought the tv stand. It wasn't perfect. But it was solid wood and the right dimensions. My reluctance is that I already have a sofa table. I was interested in other pieces, maybe a wine bar, or a reg sofa table. I wanted him to show me the options that fit the dimension in the store. But after he told me the delivery price. He made comments about it being allot and that I can have a friend come and get it all while turning his back on me and walking away while I was still talking and deciding. I had also seen a potato bin that they are selling as a trash bin that I had wanted. But it rubbed me so wrong. The assumption I couldn't afford it and then him walking away. I felt embarrassed. So I stopped talking to his back and walked out. I wanted to support a product and a local store that I liked. But no thank you. I will go to another store I guess. Horrible quality of furniture and their delivery prices are outrageous! I picked out a tv stand and they told me initially it would be $165 to deliver right up the road. I called back today to see if I could get it delivered cheaper and the guy told me $199!! I might as well go somewhere else and buy a better piece of furniture with free delivery for that price. I also bought my a bedroom suit and a dining suit from them and the quality is not very good at all. They look like solid wood but they are not. Their employees are very rude also and they do not go out of their way to help customers. They care about making money and that is it. I have found several other local rustic furniture stores that care the same type of furniture and they are very nice to deal with and actually care about their customers. read more

When my wife and I entered the store we were greeted by the owner. I told her that due to the amount of furniture we were going to purchase we were going to make a list a return the next week. The owner was very helpful and explained all the customization options and the 4-6 week delivery time. We returned the next week and the salesman was equally helpful in processing our order. Not sure how this place has 4+ star ratings per google. Must be rigged. Buyer beware. Be prepared to go months without! I placed a living room furniture set order 4/3/21. I was told eta end of may. The first week of June I was told. No eta. Its 6/14. They don't know when it's coming. They refuse to refund your money. They have zero consideration. Mngt doesn't give a damn. He says," I don't build the furniture so as a courtesy we ask for 6-8weeks but that isn't guaranteed. " Sooooo.... The company runs off of, let me take your money but I can't tell you when you'll get your product.... Ohhh and they don't tell you "no refunds/all sales final" TILL ITS ON YOUR RECEIPT!!! So heads up future buyers. Be prepared for lies, be prepared for them to quickly collect your money AND NEVER REFUND YOU. Store credit. &rudeness. Why would I want store credit to a store who can't honor a single word?! I would never spend another dime here. I am looking for all wood furniture for my house so I found my way to The Rustic Mile. I need to furnish a rather large home. I was impressed with the variety of furniture. I did like how the sales people didn't hover over me as I looked at the furniture. However, when I had some questions the first sales person did answer a couple of questions before another sales person told him he was needed in the back. So he just walked off. The second sales lady then asked what she could do for me. I told her what I needed and she proceeded to assist me. That was until another family came in and said they needed her help. She was suppose to look up some information on a discontinued set of furniture for me. But that never happened. She turned around and started helping the other family. I saw the first sales person, Kyle, and he proceeded to help someone else. So I ended up walking out of the store not purchasing anything. For a place that could have spent several thousands of dollars at, the poor attention to customer service will keep me coming back and making any purchases here. read more

This business doesn't look out for their customers. I tried to use a coupon for *10% off next purchase* and the lady would only honor off one item. It is not my fault they use the wrong verbiage on their coupons. I have been there a couple times and the owner is never there. I was told she won't be back for a week. I would have recommended the rustic mile until about 2 weeks ago. I bought furniture there. They have very nice furniture. I have no complaints about it. What I do not like is that someone there signed my name on my loan paperwork!! I used their financing. They let me walk out without signing any paperwork. When they called to tell me they needed me to come back I told them it would take me a few days to get back over there. They said that is fine. Next thing I know I have a DocuSign in my email with my signature on it!! I never signed that paperwork. What you did is against the law and I 100% plan on pursuing legal recourse. There is absolutely no excuse for fraudulently signing someone else's name to a loan document!!! Also, if you had told me I could use DocuSign I could have signed it that day. Nothing special here. There are many (yes MANY) rustic furniture store in San Antonio, Leon Springs, Boerne, and Fredericksburg. All of those offer quality, handcrafted items at a range of prices. The Rustic Mile has, by far, the lowest prices. The reason is that the furniture is of lower quality, period. Everything we saw was made of pine and stained overly dark. Furniture had a plasticy shellac look. Many items were wobbly and ill balanced. Staff are friendly and helpful, but misinformed. For example, they have only 60-inch round tables because, per the staff anything larger would not balance correctly. Untrue. OVERALL: DISAPPOINTING. NOT RECOMMENDED. read more

I came into their store 2 times before I actually bought anything. I was told on both occasions that the furniture would take 4-6 weeks to arrive after ordering. Since my husband and I were in the middle of closing on our house i went ahead and bought a bedroom set to allow for the delivery time. When we actually picked everything out and went to pay we noticed that the invoice stated 6-8 weeks for delivery. Immediately I was a little upset because that's not what i was told but either way i figured hopefully it won't take that long. 8 weeks comes and goes when we call them to ask about our items they pretty much said they couldn't do anything about them not being there yet. They took absolutely no fault and almost made it like it was our problem. They refused to work with us on cutting some sort of cost, i had already paid them half. Delivery fee or just a discount for inconvenience. Needless to say we receive our furniture at 10 weeks. There are two other rustic furniture shops in San Antonio that will been getting my business from now on. read more

This place is by far the worst customer service I have ever received in a place. We had purchased 2,800 dollars worth of furniture and end tables. When my mom and I first went in there to look at family room furniture we sat right in front of the register on a piece that we both fell in love with the both women continue to ignore us as well as other employees that just walked by us. One girl was helping a couple that should've been our clue to run that was arguing over a table that someone said they got a different price than what they were giving that day. After we got help and decide on piece the girl said that the owner will give a discount when we buy multiple pieces which we did. We called the next day to purchase all the pieces and we got a very rude lady who just laughed at us when we mentioned the discount and was very rude and said sorry I already have a lady coming to get look at this piece when they had another in warehouse. Then we went next day because we just had a feeling they really screwed up our order and they did. The price was to include 2 end tables and a 3 piece furniture set at the price of 2,800. No we only had one end table and no discount!! We again were laughed at right in our faces by a lady named Marium! Very Rude!!! On top of they had the wrong end table sold to us when we made it clear we wanted a certain hide. Thank goodness we went in. So we argued about the discount which they said we would look at a audio tape and see what was said! Their word against ours!! Wow great business!! We told them never mind we just want living room set no end tables!! They were going to charge us a restock fee?!! When the pieces never left the store are you kidding! When we talked with owner she was as rude as could be and even when we said about leaving reviews and contacting the BBB she said she didn't even care!! This place is such a joke and I have never been so humiliated in my life. The best part is when she told my husband on the phone that he was a big guy and people are scared of him?!! That was the end for us because my husband never set foot in that store!!! I'm warning you don't ever step foot in this store you will be screwed to no end!! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes rustic décor. The furniture is sturdy and withstands wear and tear of a family of 4.
