I like this target its not to crowded. They just need to up date the baskets to the newer plastic ones. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Balcones Heights, Texas

It's a Target.... not much different than the others really.... this one in San Antonio is a bit larger than the Targets located in California, the aisles are wide and there is SO much to browse through. The staff here seem attentive and helpful (maybe a difference from many locations I've been to). The few times I visited during the Holidays, it never seemed crazy crowded. Busy, yes, but they didn't have insane lines or a parking lot that inspires road rage. read more

I basically survived on this SuperTarget for the short time I lived in San Antonio. Pharmacy, Photo, Optical, Pizza Hut Express and Starbucks Coffee. I miss this store very much, it was me home Target for so long. The people are amazing, it usually isnt too busy, very easy to shop. If you live in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and visit this store. read more

Love this Target. Went in today and it is always clean. The dressing room attendant was very helpful and offered to assist when exchanges in sizes and with the items that didn't work. We also went through the holiday section, love the unique selection of ornaments for the season and can't wait until the others are also out! They have a great selection of not only Christmas items but also thanksgiving items still. I also appreciate that Target has Shopkicks where I can get points just for walking in and shopping there. I love that they have loyalty and great prices. Restrooms were very clean. Great Target, always stocked with the items needed. read more

Service was Not great at all. Cashiers at the food court were freezing up and couldn't take orders. Kept passing me back in the line. My lunch break wasted because a company as big as target can't have decent cashier machines. Get with the 21st century. read more

Little by little I've had to stop shopping here, from rude encounters with staff to just dirty environment. Today I purchased some groceries and when I got home I saw one of my purchases was expired. I've been trying to call customer service but no one answers or when they do they just hang up on me. This is the second time this has happened in the past year and you'd think I'd learn my lesson by now. Today was the last time I'll be shopping at the balcones heights location. read more

now this target is not a super target any more.sux even more.Went here lasst night.best thing about staff is i dropped my cane and a nice young man picked it up for me.other than that questionable workers.i must remind myself go to super target only. so. update: i dont know why i continue to shop at this branch.customer service sucks scissors at the self check out.yes i know its self service but when a older woman is struggling with a gift card on a smart phone..for five to ten minutes help the old bag out. the old bag was me!if she asks for something to wipe her hands and you have stuff dont say you can go to the bathroom.was i supposed to just leave my food unpaid in the cart and by the check out table.. ? i must go to the nice target on blanco. plus its a super target read more

This Target has everything you could ever want. It is more expensive of course then other stores but it's Target so that's to be expected. I didn't like the fact that I had to walk all the way around wonderland mall to get inside it looked like it used to be connected maybe a long time ago but not anymore. Other then that it's a clean store good location right off the highway. read more

I'm quick to complain about this, so I'm coming back to Target to upgrade my review. They have at least tripled the number of handicap carts available -- and added a significant number of plug-ins to keep up with the traffic. The produce and grocery section were much better organized than on our previous visits and overall, the whole store seemed cleaner and more inviting. Well done, Target! read more

While traveling on vacation, I needed to pick up somethings that I had forgotten to pack. I found this Target on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised. I already love target, but this is the first Super Target I've ever been in. It was clean, not crowded, and had some pretty great staff! read more

Nice Target location, they have everything that you need including gourmet coffee, computers, clothing, and lunch. The employees are so helpful. read more

One star for great shoe and clothing selection-- if you can't find something at your nearest Target, you'll most likely find it here. Zero stars for everything else... 1. Trash all throughout the entrance of the store and parking lot. 2. Women's section has clothes all over the ground at the bottom of every rack. I tired to help pick things up but after rack #3 I gave up because I realized I was spending more time picking up for hem than actually shopping. 4. I Came looking for a specific top that I had seen at another location that didn't have my size. After waiting for their employee team meeting that was taking place in the middle of the women's section (yes, the area with all the clothes on the ground) to end I was finally able to ask someone if they had the top I was looking for. After describing the top I received the reply, "No I haven't seen anything like that." And the girl walked away without another word. I followed her as she was putting away clothes from he dressing room and asked if there's anyway that she could look it up. I shop at Target enough to know that they have those little iPhones that allow them to look things up. She replied, "oh I don't have a scanner thing on me so you'll have to find someone who does." So I decided to look everywhere myself and couldn't find it. Customer service, y'all. :/ read more

I like this Target because it's close to my house. They have remodeled it and looks great, but i hope they remodel the restrooms, sure needs it. read more

This is a great store. I like this Target because they always seem to have a lot of clothes on clearance here. The store is fairly clean and doesn't seem to be picked through like other Targets I've been to. read more

I come here often because it's easy to reach from I-10. There's certainly no Target convenient for me downtown, but this one is not too far. It's large, has a Starbuck's, and groceries if you're looking for that. It's a nice touch that they usually have samples in the grocery department. Most of the time this place is pretty clean, and it is not overwhelmingly crowded. Same complaint that I have at every Target though: a bazillion registers and three are open. Really? Either Target has serious employment issues or really enjoys messing with me...good thing there's a convenient Starbuck's to curb my mood swings. read more

Oh, Target. I always have mixed feelings about you. I guess I will give you 3 stars. You are Wal-Mart's trendier sister. Why are you packed to the rafters with unnecessary junk and I have a hell of a time trying to find things that are actually useful? If you have them, they are on an aisle that makes no sense. And rarely are employees anywhere in sight to ask. If they are around, they are somewhat awkward about it, and don't seem to know much better than I do regarding the item in question's whereabouts. But damned if I don't keep coming back because of your convenient location. read more

The words on the building said it best "Expect more. Pay less." The item I wanted was on sale, but I paid less. Service-wise, I expected more. The other Target location sent me over here because this store had inventory on an item I was trying to purchase. Same story as the last Target - the week following Black Friday, we have one person scheduled in electronics and when I got there was a 3:0 customer to employee ratio. After several employees paged and a customer pressed the call button the employee finally appeared. By then a lot of customers were frustrated from waiting and like the previous location, they had two of the items I wanted in stock - one on the floor, one in the back and it took an excessively long time for the employee to re-appear from the back and that resulted in a lady getting really ticked off and leaving. This is unnecessary and a bad customer experience because we aren't doing our jobs and putting product out on the floors and positioning ourselves on the floor in the department we're scheduled in. At the end of the day, retailers have stores to sell. Part of that process is that people may have questions and you need to make sure you're available to answer those questions and doing what you need to do to make sure product is on the floor to prevent you from straying away from that customer focus. It's crazy that management in a store this size is not addressing this because I assure you it's coming up in customer surveys. read more

The store is big, clean, and orderly. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. You can find everything for your housing and yourself at fair prices. It even has a grocery store. This store is perfect for one stop shopping. read more

The only two areas that need attention are 1. The cafe area is super dirty all the time from am to pm. Sad part it is a busy area so there is only 1 person doing everything from heating pizza to collecting money and no gloves. This is as unsanitary as it is the floor and soda areas. This are can improve and increase sales if the place was cleaner. 2. The Starbucks am services is pathetic. They are never ready with the brewed coffee, the lady takes her time talking to the people from the deli..knowing there is a line. They have to ..multiple times call someone to bring creamer...never available on time. The lady with brown / black hair never apologize..and always talks to other customers while there are others online. read more

The lady running the two out of 50 or so cash registers that were open was a lying little bitch. My wife and I have been getting formula at this location for our child for months now and have been using coupons specific to the formula we need at each purchase. Often times we would use two, three, even four coupons in one purchase as the formula is very expensive. It had always worked in the past but for some reason today she said it couldn't and that they have never been able to use more than one. She was very rude and would not hear me out when I tried to explain the situation. Target is a sub-par retailer and will never have my business again. Fuck Target! read more

This place is conveniently located off the freeways/main roads. It is clean and super stocked. The associates were a bit quiet but not offensive or anything. The ease of shopping here beats any Walmart! The cosmetics section is huge too! The options of items to purchase is big. I bought stuff that I've never seen at any Target! read more

Giant waste of time. I spoke to someone at the dezavala target and they told me I just needed to bring in my item with all its parts for an exchange even if I didn't have my receipt. this store happened to be on my way home so I brought my broken vacuum in to exchange it. Customer service at this store told me I needed a receipt and my credit card that I purchased it on and they couldn't do anything for me. I asked why i would be told different stories at different stores and they didnt have an answer. I took the vacuum to a third location today and they exchanged it with no issues even though they couldn't find a record of the purchase on my card. I normally like this store but i wasted a lot of time because this store wouldn't do what one store said they would and another store did without question. Customer service here needs some work. read more

Okay, I won't lie. I've a slight addiction to Target and they get probably 1/3 of each of my paychecks. Though, I love Target and all of it's glory... this location is not my favorite. I go here a few times a week as it is nearby. There is a 75% chance I'll have a great time here and a 25% chance that I'll probably want to pull my hair out of my scalp waiting in one of the two lines open for checkout. The self check out has helped but there is an issue when buying meat with the coupons on the package. The self check out will require you to stick a coupon inside the machine. You can't get past that screen until you do so. Now, the first time this happened it was on two packages of chicken. The guy helping me didn't know what to do when he couldn't get the coupon off of the package. I said we could open them as I live close by and would be cooking them soon anyways. He then, without clean hands, mind you, took out his KEYS opened the package clearly touching the chicken with the keys and his hands. I was meaning that I could open the packages since I'd be purchasing them. Since the chicken was open I decided I'd buy it still but I was definitely bothered by that situation. Now if I'm buying them at the self check outs I stick a random paper inside. It's a store coupon and the self checkout should somehow distinguish normal coupons vs nearly expiring fresh meat coupon that is put on the package by the store. Typically I just go through normal lines with those now. It was so gross to see dirty hands and keys all over my not even purchased yet chicken. :( Maybe it's punishment for not being vegetarian. Anyways other than the lines and coupon dilemma this Target is okay. Not the best service I've had but definitely not the worst. The majority of the employees are kind and engage conversations. Some have bad days, but I understand. That's a tough job to stay perky with. read more

I like that I live pretty much across the street. I like that the store is clean. Employees aren't as helpful as they were a few years ago. Used to go into the store looking for something and have an employee ask me if I needed help. Now I have to hunt someone down. The other day I went in and they had rearranged a few aisles in the grocery section. I was looking for the Pop Tarts and couldn't find them. When the cashier asked if I found everything ok I told her "no". Only thing she said was, "Oh, sorry to hear that." Umm... Hello. You're supposed to ask me what it was I couldn't find and then tell me where I can find it. I think some of the cashiers are more concerned with getting rid of you. Still haven't found the dang Pop tarts. Oh well. read more

Target x 2 = Super Target. Love it even more than regular Target. Although I read somewhere that Target is competing with Amazon for selling sundry home and office items, I have to say Target still holds it own in terms of groceries and clothing. Most people don't order every day food online and wait a few business days to ship. And I do enjoy Target's reasonably priced, quality, cute clothing section--and because sizes vary with brands, it's best to try it on in person rather than guesstimate a number online and hope it fits well. Not to mention other "in person" services that online shopping can't really address: the optical center, pharmacy, Starbucks, deli etc. Overall, I love the selection Target has for basically anything (especially in food, health/beauty, home furnishing afb cleaning) because I am always pleasantly surprised and excited when I find new interesting items to try out. read more
