Chocolate croissant
April P.

The vibe and atmosphere of Falcon bar are amazing! There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The staff is super friendly and patient. This is our first time here it took us a bit to order. The drinks are good! The only thing I didn't like was the chocolate croissant it was not good at all! I get it's vegan but the chocolate and the texture it wasn't for me. Also, I feel like the price point is a little high compared to other shops. I wouldn't mind having cocktail drinks with friends here after work. The vibe is so chill I can see myself grabbing coffee and working here in the morning. I'll come back.

A totally lovely vibe to come chill, vibe and study. The music is great and the baristas were awesome! Popped in the day right before they closed for reservations, so didn't take many photos. However it's lovely homey place, with plants to give it a more welcoming vibration. They also don't use milk which is the first time I've ever heard that at a coffee place and thought it was super awesome! (I'm an Oat girl) hope y'all enjoy!

Great choice of vibes in the front and back. I enjoyed my oat milk (or was it coconut?) latte with honey and cinnamon on top, recommended by the barista. Music was good but too loud for a conference call though I'm sure they would have lowered it if I asked. Lots of water and glasses to promote hydration.

Guava pastellito

Awesome vegan spot in wedgewood-Houston! Their brunch is not to be missed, the bodega sandwich is 10/10! The pastelito was inexplicably flaky especially being made without butter- delicious!! Their to go cocktails are also a must try! Definitely check them Out for a great vegan breakfast spot!

Mocha, avo toast and chorizo empanada!

Nice little spot! Love the decor. Very modern/rustic and comforting with lots of greenery. That's my favorite part! Avo toast and empanada presentation was extremely tasteful and had an upscale feeling. The flavor, even better. Avo toast was one of my favorites so far. If you're hungry, get one of each and you'll be just fine. Mocha latte was very good along with great latte art. Staff was very welcoming. I really felt at home and comfortable there. Plenty of outlets to plug in at the bar if you need to work. The establishment is 2-in-1 with a cocktail bar in the back that opens in the evening. The coffee house also offers come cocktails and mixed coffee drinks if you care to indulge. Would for sure be back! Update... went back for lunch. It was totally my fault that I forgot the chicken on the salad was not chicken and instead was plant based and had a weird taste. I ordered the chop salad. It was drenched in dressing which I did not like the taste of. The whole salad seemed to be overwhelmed with the dressing taste which seems to maybe have some tumeric or something in it. I am not vegan so I did not like the plant based chicken at all. Disappointed but it was more or less my fault for my mix up. I still loved the coffee and my previous post with the toast so I'll be back for those!

Tumeric latte w/ espresso

Super cute coffee shop! Indoor and outdoor seating. Variety of drinks and eats. I got the iced tumeric latte with a shot of espresso... came out super good. Not too sweet at all. I got my drink for there and took it out to the back patio which had a lot of open seating. Walking towards the back I noticed a full bar and seating area .. turned out it's a club as well. The club doesn't close until 3am, and every last Saturday they have a 70s themed party and dress up. Pretty cool if you ask me. Super cute and classy. Had my drink while I FaceTimed with my sexy man and simply enjoyed the vibe. Will be bringing him there when I visit again... hopefully at night to the club so I can grind on him. It's just a sexy vibe (the club section) I WILL BE BACK.

Supreme breakfast burrito
Julia T.

I have been to Falcon Coffee Bar 3 times now, but today was the first time I ordered off the menu. I got the supreme burrito with the greens! I was impressed with the greens because most restaurant just throw some wilted sloppy greens on the plate, but Falcon Coffee presented it nicely! I used to be vegan and still eat a lot of plant-based foods, so I loved the burrito and the aioli on it - wish there was a whole side of aioli!

Bone inside of faux chicken wing

This is a neat plant based coffee bar tucked in the booming Wedgewood Houston area. I'm not really a coffee drinker like that but have had the avocado toast, tofu scramble burrito and the "chixin" wings which they don't have on the menu but they are the BOOOOMMMBBB! As of now they only have them on Saturdays. These are the only faux wings that I've had that actually have e texture of a wing and a bone in it for the effect...it is so tasty...the tofu burrito is so filling and seasoned just right. They also sell some kind of coconut brownie (I think it's coconut) but it is BOMB as well! Staff are friendly and I haven't had any issues with parking...you have to park on the streets.

If tasty food is all it takes to make a place great, the Falcon Coffee Bar has it in the bag. The empanadas are very tasty and the bodega sandwich is delicious. I look forward to trying more! The atmosphere is trying to grasp onto feng shui but dying plants have it just out of reach, but hey, minor detail. The only thing holding me back from giving this eclectic plant based cafe 5 stars is the service. There was no greeting when we walked in. We sat at the bar and perhaps it was our own fault to not be aware that you can not order from there. Eventually we had to interrupt the conversation of the employees to ask where we order... just 3 feet away. We will definitely return for the tasty food with high hopes of better service and perhaps an extra star.

This place has delicious food and beverages, a chill vibe and great style. There are so many vegan options! Indoor and outdoor seating with public parking right next door. Definitely a place I recommend you stop in!

Loved this spot! This plant-based coffee bar (which turns into a cocktail bar at night in the back) has a super interesting, eclectic vibe. There are some unique drinks (like the raspberry macchiato with coconut cream that I ordered). The service was super friendly and there is good WiFi and plentiful seating. I recommend visiting their outdoor patio in the back. Sitting in the sun and working or catching up with a friend? Sign me up any day. The food also looked delicious. Definitely hope to return soon!

Cold brew

Absolutely fantastic place, especially a great place to study. They also have GF pastries, which is a great option! If you have a nut allergy, you might be best to stick to black coffee or another drink because of the amount of nut milks and cheeses that are in the place. You can park directly in front of the building or you can go to the new gravel lot next to it.

Super cute coffee shop located in Wedgewood Houston Visited this coffee shop today for the first time with my coworker and was very impressed. It is located over on Houston Street and is attached to the Flamingo Cocktail Bar. I ordered a large iced coffee with caramel syrup and it was very good! I'll have to come back and get one of their doughnuts Pros: + yummy iced coffee syrups (caramel, lavender, mocha) + awesome customer service! The barista was very personal + ample seating and cute decor + street side parking + food options + gorgeously decorated pastries

Oh my goodness, if I lived in Nashville again, I would have to find an apartment right in the…read moreOneC1ty area just so I could eat at Avo all day, everyday, and twice on Sundays! . Ok .. maybe not on Monday because they're closed on Mondays and that might be weird (who are you? how did you get in here? ... blah blah .. blah blah ... blah blah lol).. y'all get the idea . Avo is 100% plant based (vegan) offering Gluten-free and Raw options as well. I want to make a point to mention that our server, Hannah and another young lady whose name I neglected to ask .. both were very warm, friendly and welcoming, adding great value to our dining experience. In addition, the restaurant ambiance struck a great balance between elegance, classy while also calming and down to earth! The food was so fresh and rich with flavor, wow! It was getting late for us and we're due to leave Nashville tomorrow so we had to force ourselves to be reasonable as we couldn't just store leftovers in the room for another day, otherwise ... the damage that might have been done when ordering ... lol Between us, we ordered a side of Mac n Chz. We *really* wanted the Loco Mac option which also includes cauliflower, walnut chorizo, fajita veggies and buffalo sauce but again, the whole "trying to be sensible" and not bite off more than we could chew .. so to speak!, I ordered the Shroom Meatballs that came with a delicious dipping sauce. I'm not sure if that was a buffalo sauce but if so, it was blissfully mild as far as heat but great depth of flavor. I ordered the Fajita Veg because it sounded like it would hit the spot and help take the sting from not allowing ourselves to order the Loco Mac dish lol. The Ginger Scallion Tofu cubes were on point!! Last but not least were the Kimchi Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce. I love Kimchi so .. honestly, you can hit me hard with the spicy cabbage and I'd be fine with that lol but at the same time, I appreciated these spring rolls having enough kim chi to bring the boldness while at the same time being tempered just enough to not be overpowering. The rolls struck a perfect balance that was elevated to that higher level with the complement of the peanut sauce *chefs kiss*. Without hesitation, I would order every single one of these dishes again (and again) and if not pressed for time, no doubt .. so much more! Top notch first class experience through and through!

I really really wanted to 5* this place!!…read more We came extra excited for one of the fully vegan restaurants in Nashville, and the food didn't disappoint, but there were some notes that brought it down to a 4. Ambiance - casual. Maybe more casual than what we expected, but it's still a good place to come with friends or for a relaxed meal. Service - It was okay. Our server was really quite fantastic, but as the restaurant got busy, it became apparent that they may have been a bit understaffed. It might have been also a matter of expectation, but the food did come out much slower than we thought it would - took roughly 30 min for the food and 15-20 min for the dessert after we'd asked for it. At least everything was hot, which was really nice. Food - as far as appetizers go, the cheese board was quite satisfying! They had two clearly fresh and homemade cheeses and a bunch of other additions to the board that were fantastic. The Loc Mac and Chz was also really quite great and we kept on thinking about it well after the meal. The mushroom/walnut spread did overtake the cheese flavor a bit, but it did mix well overall. The Katsu tofu addition was not so great. No really marinated, just breaded/fried, so that was a bit disappointing. The cheesecake was fairly mediocre. The flavor of the actual cheesecake was very bland, and even the caramel and nuts were not enough to save that - it felt like it was prepared for fruit toppings in mind, not for more subtle flavors so that is one big edit that needed to be made. The gimlet and nojito were solid too We'd certainly come back if we were in the area

I'm guessing poor customer service and lack of communication is a top-down issue. Would not recommend. Was repeatedly told come back in 5 minutes and we are bagging up your order by the staff. Ridiculous Update: Phyliss R- If you are stating that I contacted you for a refund and then sent a text message to cancel that request. That is simply incorrect/false. I never sent a text message to the business stating this and I still have yet to be contacted by the business. I filled out a contact form on the website requesting a refund. Again, after waiting almost 2 hours. You coming on my post and lying further laminates the poor customer service and a severe lack of accountability. Your workers themselves said they were short staffed and no one was there to help them. I can have empathy for them, but I also don't think that I should be subjected to a 2 hour wait for carryout. So either you are unaware of the situation at your business or you don't care. It's Unfortunate that you would rather try to diminish my personal experience instead of just saying we messed up and take accountability.

They don't validate parking in the garage so those extra minutes can be the difference between $20 or $29 parking tab. They have handheld portable card swipers for payment. I think it is a general courtesy for the server to turn around or sort of pretend they're looking across the room. I did not necessarily want to tip on the $30 of pre-bottled water we got, but there was a lot of pressure to select either 20% 22% or 24% buttons, so he got an extra $6. It's fine, I just thought it was kinda weird he was watching what I selected.
