Chicken Shawarma Bowl with rice and Garlic sauce and a side salad.

This little place is gem! I love, love, love Mediterrean/Middle Eastern food. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had a Chicken Shwarama Bowl with rice and side salad. Excellent! Met the owner and chatted about his menu. He does specials on Friday's. Most of his business is take out. I ate in and was very pleased with my choice. Did I mention that I love, love, love Mediterrean/Middle Eastern food?? Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Hummus appetizer and side salad that comes with the plates

Such an amazing little hole in the wall type place. The food is amazing and the prices are good. I would highly recommend the hummus appetizer and chicken shawarma plate. The plate comes with either a soup or salad. We went with the salad and it was light and a nice addition. There isn't much seating, so it seems like more of a takeout type of place but you can eat inside as well. I had a wonderful experience here and will be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Garden Salad Plus with falafels - salad tossed in dressing that tasted sour and unpleasant.

Not at all impressed. Not authentic and limited options. I actually was thinking of the Rainbow Poke place for lunch in the same shopping center and decided I would try this place since I have driven by many times. I thought a Greek salad with gyro meat. When I got inside, I did not see a Greek salad as an option. I did see a yogurt salad on the menu board, so I asked for yogurt salad but was told they did not have the yogurt to make the salad. So I asked for the garden salad with Gyro meat instead and was denied - only falafel or chicken Shawarma. So I opted for the falafel salad was being made, I went to use the restroom to wash up. The light in the bathroom is not working so I used my cell phone flashlight to see. I then received my packages meal and I headed home. Only once I got home I realized how small the salad was for nine dollars. At first bite I thought the falafels tasted excellent with great seasoning, but I realized these falafels were mostly all breading. The salad was already dressed in some sort of liquid that smelled very sour. Disappointed that I didn't get the poke instead. I will not be returning here and I do not recommend. There are much better Mediterranean spots in the area to chose from.

Stopped by today after seeing this location a few times. The staff here is friendly and I ordered a beef shawarma bowl. It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The rice and beef was well cooked and the Tahiti topping was light but all in all the blandness made the experience lackluster. I added a bit of hot sauce to pump it up and it helped but the dish as served needs some tweeking.

The decent falafel with added raw onion in it and more on the side and a side of the too thin and too bland tahini sauce.

I've been meaning to try the falafel here, but because they close by 6:30, I was just now finally able to come this early, for me. I ordered their falafel sandwich to go with added raw onion. When I arrived I could see my sandwich being made and asked for extra raw onion and tahini sauce, as I could tell there wasn't enough on the sandwich for my taste. I also got 2 pieces of their cylindrical cashew baklava and 1 piece of the rectangular-shaped walnut baklava. The falafel here isn't bad, but not nearly as good as it could be. I've had much worse though, and I've had the best in Knoxville, TN, at Ali Baba/Time Out Deli (I'm not sure if they are still in business; I haven't been there in many years. And also the original Mamoun's in NYC or one of their NE franchise locations.). (In the Melbourne area (Palm Bay), I like Alhouda's falafel balls better, and other items there. And they are usually open until 11:30 PM or midnight!....my kind of place!) The falafel balls at the Falafel Stop could use more fresh parsley, cilantro and seasoning, but at least their's isn't made from a bland pre-made mix. If you see pics of falafel balls that are tan inside, that is often an indication that they were either made from a pre-made tasteless mix-not from scratch, and/or that the mixture certainly wouldn't have any fresh herbs mixed into it. The falafel balls here are of a very light green hue, indicating at least some ground up parsley in the mixture. You can usually tell a great falafel ball, which is rare, by it's bright green color, that is indicative of plenty of fresh parsley and cilantro added to the ground up garbanzo beans/chick peas, spices (cumin, turmeric and cardamom), onions and garlic. My other main gripe here though, is that their tahini sauce is waaay too thinned out and bland; it lacks needed garlic and seasoning; this is also a major component of a good falafel and should not be overlooked! They did use a decent thin-type pita bread for a wrap-style sandwich and include some good fresh lettuce and tomato. But it just seems like if falafels are your main focus, you would figure out how to make them a bit better and how to be the best. Watch YouTube videos on how Mamoun's makes their falafels. Another component of a great falafel is that the balls are very crispy on the outside, but soft inside. Mamoun's smashes their crispy emerald balls inside the pita half, so you get some in every bite, along with the lettuce, tomatoes, hummus spread and tahini sauce. I would have also liked a combo of some hummus, babaganoush and tabouleh, but they evidently don't make tabouleh here anymore. And their combo here includes hummus, babaganoush and falafel balls. So I asked if I got a side of hummus, could I get it with1/2 babaganoush?...NO! I didn't want a side of each. Another reason why I prefer Alhouda; I can get a small or large vegetarian plater there, which includes babaganoush, hummus, tabouleh, falafel balls and grape leaves, (and they will let me substitute the grape leaves for more falafel balls). Sorry, but the truth. More options sells more food! The cashew fingers and walnut baklava were very good.

Delicious, flavorful, fresh, & filling. Prices are great, you get plenty. They also have desserts. Great customer service. Kitchen seemed clean, eating/dining area could've been a bit cleaner. I can see myself ordering take out often.

Ordered the falafel wrap and a falafel plate with soup. The falafel wasn't bad but the soup was visually unappetizing, resembled and had the consistency of a spicy gravy. The tahini sauce was super watery. All and all this meal might have been better eaten in the restaurant if served fresh.

Tasty and fresh. Recommend for a quick lunch break. I'm writing this review because when I yelped restaurants, this particular one did not show up until I was here in the plaza. Hopefully it will give it more exposure.

Gyros & More II

With multiple dining options at this shopping plaza, that is to be expected. Fortunately, a few cars pulled out as I was pulling in, so I got lucky. Walking in, the place is definitely a no-frills type restaurant. There is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing fancy about a gyro. I ordered at the counter and as I was paying with my credit card, the woman pointedly told me that there was a tipping option. Also, be advised that they do charge three and a half percent more if you use a credit card. I went with a special gyro combination, which consisted of a gyro, a side (I went with French fries), and a drink. It was about fifteen dollars after tax. A bit steep, but it is what it is. My food came out in a somewhat slower pace, but it was the height of lunch hour. The gyro was not as filled as I would have liked (especially at fifteen dollars). The French fries were your standard frozen fries bought out of a restaurant supply store. My meal was okay, but nothing overly remarkable. I am torn between giving Gyros & More II either three stars or four stars. It wasn't bad, but it was a bit expensive and I would have liked to have had a bit more meat in the gyro. But still, it was a decent enough lunch. It was also obvious that Gyros & More II was popular. It was pretty crowded when I was there. I guess ultimately I will up it to four stars (though I wish I could give it a three and a half star rating). Oh well, four stars it shall be. If you are in the area and craving a gyro, Gyros & More II offers a decent enough gyro for a bit higher than I think that you should pay, but everything has gone up in price. Four stars it is for Gyros & More II.

Luckily people come and go quickly so I've never had an issue finding a parking spot. It is a casual restaurant that is very popular for to go and take out orders. There is a lunch special that comes with a fountain drink and a side or you can get a platter that comes with 2 sides. My go or order is the classic gyro sandwich with all the toppings but there isn't anything I have had there that I do not like. Even when it is busy the wait is not crazy, though calling in to go orders is not a bad idea. Staff is quick, nice, and professional. LPT: pay in cash it is cheaper
