Gyros & More II is located in the Hibiscus Center shopping plaza and I will say that parking was a bit of an issue when I got there just past noon on a Wednesday afternoon. With multiple dining options at this shopping plaza, that is to be expected. Fortunately, a few cars pulled out as I was pulling in, so I got lucky. Walking in, the place is definitely a no-frills type restaurant. There is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing fancy about a gyro. I ordered at the counter and as I was paying with my credit card, the woman pointedly told me that there was a tipping option. Also, be advised that they do charge three and a half percent more if you use a credit card. I went with a special gyro combination, which consisted of a gyro, a side (I went with French fries), and a drink. It was about fifteen dollars after tax. A bit steep, but it is what it is. My food came out in a somewhat slower pace, but it was the height of lunch hour. The gyro was not as filled as I would have liked (especially at fifteen dollars). The French fries were your standard frozen fries bought out of a restaurant supply store. My meal was okay, but nothing overly remarkable. I am torn between giving Gyros & More II either three stars or four stars. It wasn't bad, but it was a bit expensive and I would have liked to have had a bit more meat in the gyro. But still, it was a decent enough lunch. It was also obvious that Gyros & More II was popular. It was pretty crowded when I was there. I guess ultimately I will up it to four stars (though I wish I could give it a three and a half star rating). Oh well, four stars it shall be. If you are in the area and craving a gyro, Gyros & More II offers a decent enough gyro for a bit higher than I think that you should pay, but everything has gone up in price. This restaurant came recommended by a coworker and did not disappoint. There is a private parking lot and it gets pretty busy during the lunch hours. Luckily people come and go quickly so I've never had an issue finding a parking spot. It is a casual restaurant that is very popular for to go and take out orders. There is a lunch special that comes with a fountain drink and a side or you can get a platter that comes with 2 sides. My go or order is the classic gyro sandwich with all the toppings but there isn't anything I have had there that I do not like. Husband and I were interested in eating at the restaurant for the first time tonight. Upon ordering online, my husband drove 25 minutes to get to the restaurant, only to find out they CANCELLED our order because they ran out of skewers and didn't want to cook more. Restaurant closed at 6:00 and he arrived at 5:20. We were never notified our order had been cancelled until an employee told him at the store. That's why I have a soft spot in my heart for Arab food. For years and years here in Brevard County, there was a barren landscape when it came to Arab cuisine. But then, within the space of a year, The Lebanese Gourmet (Skewers) opened in Indialantic and Gyros & More opened at the mall. I should pause a moment and clarify for the misinformed that Gyros, tabbouleh, and baklava are NOT Greek in origin (though some may argue they perfected them). They actually have their beginnings in the Ottoman Empire. Like the food in the Ottoman Empire, the name might be Gyros and people might think Greek, but the majority of the items here at Gyros & More are distinctly Arabic. Instead of visiting the mall location, I decided to drive over to their second location on Hibiscus. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by an extremely gregarious individual by the name of Ken. Ken has an awesome personality and is exceedingly helpful. I asked Ken for an order of the Kafta Skewers, Lamb Shish Kabob, a Gyro, and finally a Kibbi platter with Hummus and Baba ghanouj. The Kafta skewers were a delicately balanced mix of lean ground beef, parsley, onion, coriander, and other regional spices. The cook char-broiled them to perfection, and the accompanying Tzatziki sauce was so flavorful that I had to stop my taste buds from breaking into an Ardah. The Lamb Shish Kabob was equally delicious and sublimely prepared. In fact, all of the Arab dishes were immensely flavorful. However, this brings me to the reason this was not a 4 or even a 5-star rating, and that is the Gyro. I have no complaints about the meat or the pita; both were scrumptious. It was the sludgy, mealy tomatoes and flaccid tzatziki sauce that dragged this Middle Eastern staple down, as well as the overall restaurant rating. If you close at 8 pm, that's when you stop taking orders! We ordered 30 minutes before they closed, even though we live 10 minutes away, and they canceled our order. I guess it's a blessing in disguise, because if that's the type of service they provide, I can't imagine the food or health code ratings are much better. Was in the mood for something a little different and noticed this place on Yelp. Greek/Mediterranean food is usually hit or miss with me. It's either very good or very bad. This was place was definitely very good. I had the Gyro platter. The gyro was delicious, the lamb was tender and well grilled. The veggies on the sandwich were fresh. Enjoyed a delicious meal at Gyros & More II the other night. It's kind of hidden in a little strip plaza on Hibiscus. I discovered it with a search on Yelp and so glad I did. I called in my order and it was ready for pick up 10 minutes later. I ordered the spinach pie meal that came with two sides. The pie was LARGE and delicious sprinkled with feta. It looks like they make each one individually so you can expect to get the same size piece every time. The sides I ordered were the hummus, which was smooth and creamy drizzled with olive oil and the falafels. I was happy to receive 2 perfectly cooked falafels with an unexpected side of tzatziki sauce. Everything was delicious! I'll definitely be back soon. read more

I have been going here for their spectacularly yummy gyros for over 6 years since moving to Melbourne, they are the best around & even better than the ones I get when I return to NY to visit the big apple! Pros: You can't go wrong if you want the traditional (they sure don't skimp on the meat in their traditional gyros) one will definitely satisfy you but they are so good we each also get a chicken gyro for "dessert"! ;-p Their lamb kabobs platters are great as well, (*be sure to ask for 2 skewers it is only a couple of bucks extra) and their warm pita is fantastic with the platters, if you add a skewer of meat or a side of hummus be sure to add more pita! Their hummus is very tasty as well... They have fast service and good fresh food at a reasonable price, try them once and you will be back again & again & again...in the same week! Cons: I love roasted eggplant & fresh made baba ganoush but my family all agrees that theirs is way too smokey, (it tastes unnaturally strong, like they added liquid smoke) so if that is what you like, go for it. FYI We usually place our delivery orders (5:00 PM - 5:45 PM) via uber eats (*look for promo codes!) but I think there are other delivery services as well. I consider this as one of the area's hidden 'hole in the wall' gems, located in an older strip shopping center, but offering authentic Mediterranean menu items. While I'm not a meat eater, I can attest to the other delights. I usually order the vegetarian sampler, with Greek salad. The babaghanoush is perfectly smoked, falafel is perfectly fried and seasoned, (I wish it came with more than just one patty), hummus is creamy, and the salad is fresh, with ripe tomato and finely shredded cheese. Terrible service, order missing half the food and no attention to detail. Last time I checked a Greek salad DID NOT shave ICEBURG lettuce. YUK! Tzatzki sauce was watered down and FETA looked shredded like out of a KRAFT bag instead of fresh. Chicken Kabobs were dry and I would never recommend eating here. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! whenever we visit Melbourne Florida we go to this little restaurant. We always get the falafel and it is very good. However we have not visited the restaurant in the last few months, due to Covid. The other day we were in Melbourne and we wanted some falafel and since most places are open for dining we stopped at our favorite falafel place here. When we walked in we were horrified when we saw that none of the people cooking food were wearing masks or gloves. none of the people taking orders were wearing masks either. The service was excellent and the price was very cheap. I'm actually going back today to try the beef shawarma which was recommended by one of the workers there. This might not be fair, but I just moved here from Southern California, and I've had better Greek food than at Gyros & More II. I usually do the veggie dishes with Falafel, but it seemed as though the falafel was heavy with bread crumbs inside instead of chickpeas or peas. There wasn't enough parsley for my liking (I enjoy when my falafel is green inside - gives it better flavor). It was still good enough to eat, but it wasn't up to delicious Greek par. The salad was okay but a lot of the leaves were beginning to wilt or go brown. I ate around them. The hummus and baba ganoush were good. My boyfriend got a lamb kabob and he said it was good (I don't eat lamb for flavor reasons), but it took almost 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Most likely due to the lamb cooking...which is technically fine, I guess, but be aware this isn't going to be "fast" food. The yellow rice was decent but had too much extra stuff mixed in. Greek food to me is great on its own with the spices on the main dishes to make the rest of the meal delicious. I may return if I'm in the area and want Greek, as this place seems to be the best that I've tried so far, but I'm sad I can't find an equivalent to the flavors in Southern California. read more

Pretty nice spot to get some quality Mediterranean food. The staff are really polite and very considerate towards individuals who might not know wha certain food items are. I ordered the gyro platter with a side of yellow rice and baba ghanoush. The gyro was done very well and you can tell the ingredients are of a fairly good quality. I also tried their baklava.
