This is the 6th Falafel Corner location I've been to in the Sacramento area and I won't be going back. I was craving a yummy Falafel Corner Chicken Shawarma wrap and visited the Granite Bay restaurant which was closest to my location at the time. I should've known something was not right about this Falafel Corner when I was greeted by a white boy who didn't know what Chicken Shwarma was. My food was truly awful and tasted nothing like the Chicken Shawarma at the other 5 locations I've been to. This version of the wrap had hardly any meat which BYW did not taste anything like Falfel Corner Chicken Shawarma. Instead of being packed with delicious chicken and onions, this wrap had spinach filler mixed in with the chicken and everything was completely drenched in a nasty sauce that absolutely was not tahini or tzatziki. It almost tasted fishy and looked slightly pink. It was totally gross. I ate a few bites and threw that nasty sandwich in my compost. I would have asked for my money back if I was eating onsite. But unfortunately I took this nasty wrap to go and didn't know what I was in for until I got home. One thing is for sure, I will never return to this Falafel Corner location ever again. read more

Came in on a weekday at lunchtime. Not busy, found good parking. It's easy to find, right on the corner of Sierra College and Douglas by other restaurants. I was pretty disappointed and won't be returning. The restaurant is small and hot inside. Every single surface was sticky. My shoes were sticking to the floor. The table was sticky, the chairs were sticky.... I ordered a Gyro sandwich and a side of french fries. No drink. It was $21.00. That's a lot for me for lunch, but I thought - dang it must be good for that price. Well, no. It was not good and it was SMALL. I waited about ten minutes even though no one ordered before me or after me - no big deal. When he handed me the bag it was so light!! Very small portion of skinny fries, undercooked. Very small Gyro sandwich. The sandwich was supposed to have tzatziki on it - but it was beige and did not taste anything like tzatziki. The lettuce was brown and old. The meat was not delicious. I highly do not recommend this location. They advertised being open till 8 but I just came here on a Friday night at 7:40 and the doors are already locked. All the lights are on and the employee inside just keeps looking at me outside of the door shaking his head like I'm stupid and not coming to talk to me at all while closing down the restaurant. You should stay open to your advertised time & if you can't honor that at least take the time to come talk to a customer instead of rolling your eyes and shaking your head. I honestly have nothing but amazing words for this location. The food is consistently delicious, the quality is amazing! I am stuck in the hospital on bedrest awaiting the arrival of my little one. And craving my favorite wrap. I had it DoorDashed and to no fault of the restaurants was first brought to the wrong location. Unfortunately there was the tiniest mistake to where I was unable to eat the order that was delivered to me. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name, but he went above and beyond. They were seconds away from closing DoorDash orders for their restaurant so he went out of his way, remade and brought my food and then some right to the hospital for me, himself! If you are looking for great falafel, look no further. The falafel here is great! Some of the best I've ever had. I had the falafel wrap and it was delicious. The falafel had great flavor, a wonderful crunch with a moist center and just the right amount of seasoning. The veggies in the wrap were fresh and crisp and the sauces creamy and delicious. Couldn't have been better in my opinion. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet, but they have gyros, shawarma, hamburgers, fries and a lot more. It will be hard for me to get past the falafel on the menu since it was soooo good, but I will try the combo platter next time so I can taste more of their menu. read more

Their food is very good!! I pre ordered and I was glad I did because the wait was 40 minutes. They were short staffed and only 2 guys running the business in a busy day. Their place reminded me of the halal guys. Loved that they added a lot of white sauce to my plate, I didn't like they charge for giving you pitas which should come at least one per plate but it wasn't a deal breaker. My only suggestion would be that if the owner decides to show up first thing should be wash your hands but instead he jumped to help the kid making the food which I felt a big grossed specially with Covid.
