I ordered the Gyro Wrap using my Grub Hub app. (I'm not sure if this is the app's fault or the restaurant.... I requested for napkins and utensils. All I got were utensils but no napkins which I also ordered. It was definitely a little difficult to eat without napkins so that was an inconvenience.) Before ordering, of course, I read the description. Pretty typical so I added it to my order. When I got my order I was a little disappointed. It didn't look like your typical wrap. I was hoping for red onions but got white, and typically the meat is cut thinly sliced but was cubed up, and I think the non-negotiable for me was the sauce. The sauce is usually made of tzatziki and tajin (just as described on the menu) but instead I got what seemee to be mayo. I tried it a few times by itself and I did not get any tzatziki or tajin flavor. The wrap all together was tasty, but not to your typical Gyro wrap. I do have to say that the actual wrap was nice and fluffy! Overall they do have good prices compared to other Greek restaurants, but I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Greeted with a smile upon walking in the door. Inside is small, and cozy but brightly lit. Picked up sides for a Super Bowl gathering -- Greek salad - full of goodies on top of romaine like olives, tomatoes, sliced banana peppers and onion topped with a light, seasoned dressing. Yummy smooth hummus and pita bread; A side of rice - light and flavorful; Baklava - tried both mildly sweet and sweet versions. Both were very good! Ordered take out for the first time and this is what I ordered: 1. Chicken wrap (essentially chicken shawarma) had decent chicken marinade flavor and the white sauce was well drizzled. Only complaint was that the chicken portion was little. I had to scarf down my wife's dinner ration after eating the chicken wrap. 2. Gyro rice platter was good and the meat is super soft and tender. Rice is delicious and white sauce is on point. 3. Curly fries was a tiny portion. For $5, i was hoping to have more fries to share. Overall rating: 3.8 out of 5 which is enough for me to come back repeatedly to be more adventurous and try other items that they offer. If you're looking for that authentic halal/persian flavor profile to hit, their food will hit it! Not a complete homerun, but 2nd to 3rd base hit for sure! Considering the dearth of good restaurants that the Roseville food scene offers, Falafel Corner is probably one of the better halal places you can get. The food is subpar, but the person greeting us was kind and helpful. We had the veg burger and chicken shawarma. Husband was not happy with the chicken he said it was bland and the burger was nothing special. The place was clean but the smell of cleaning solution is a turn off when sitting in to dine. This review is based solely on the door dash orders I regularly place when I don't feel like cooking. Despite being delivered and not eating it fresh in store, my chicken schwarma is always delicious. They're also very generous with the chicken topping, which is pretty shocking considering how so many places seem to skimp on proteins these days. Customer service is great too, I've called to confirm no onions on my order and they're great with accommodating my preferences. The fries and baklava are also solid. Went in today with my wife to try this Greek place. The owner who also works as the cashier and buses the tables is friendly. We decided to order 2 x falafel plates and a side of French fries. The owner suggested I leave the fries as they have giant size portions. He offered to make the fries free if I was hungry afterwards. He was right! The falafels were nice and moist, the plate was huge and I left full. My wife could t finish hers and took home leftovers. I could not manage the fries if I had them. I like this place better than The Greet Greek which is closer to my home and this is a bit of a drive. Great place, family friendly. I will return. read more

My daughter and I really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant on a Thursday night. The gentleman working was friendly and patient as we ordered our food. He suggested take-out boxes since we weren't sure if we would be able to eat everything included with our platters. After waiting a bit, I saw him put an order on the counter and got up to see if it was ours. He said that I should relax and reminded me that he said he would bring our order to our table. My daughter and I ordered a Gyro platter and a Chicken platter. My favorite was the Gyro meat which was tender and tasty. The hummus was delicious, and the pita was very soft. Sunday, 10/04/2020 - we have one close to us and have tried it. Didn't really like it. Thought we try a different one in a different location to see if maybe different owners will make it better. Upon arrival, plenty of parking. Restaurant seating area inside is about 340 square feet. There are tables to eat outside. Restaurant was clean. We were the only ones in there. Food came out pretty quickly. Cashier was a young and nice gentleman. He was very patient with us ordering. After he took our orders, he was cleaning the restaurant. Once our orders arrived, we needed ketchup for our french fries. There was a stack of bottled ketchup by the soda machine. All looked sticky and dirty on the outside. I grabbed the cleanest one I could see and used wet napkins to clean the outside of the ketchup bottle before pouring out the ketchup. Once I open the ketchup, there were dried, crusty ketchup on the inside of lid. I checked the other bottles, all the same. Our Gyro was ok. Taziki sauce was a little different from what I'm used to. I couldn't taste any cucumber in it. My partner thought the Gyro was... "eh". Burgers and fries was good. Bathroom was clean. It's one bathroom for both men and women. Glad they have a bathroom! As we were leaving, the kind cashier asked us if everything was ok. It was. My conclusion: Restaurant was clean-ish. They could have cleaned the outside of all the sticky ketchup bottles and mustard bottles. Besides this, nice little place. read more

What's new in Roseville? Well, we finally have our own Falafel Corner serving Mediterranean food! It replaced the former address of Fresh Millions so I'm familiar with the interior which didn't change very much from the former. One flatscreen TV on the corner and seating arranged the same although the tables and chairs have been replaced and are more modern and new. I ordered the gyro platter and I received a large serving. Wow! Imagine if I asked for the salad, hummus and pita that went with it (I opted not to have them included). The soft and tasty strips of spit-roasted lamb and beef was served over rice and drizzled with the delicious tzatziki sauce. It was served artfully :) Very nice staff. This counter service eatery is a nice addition to this already diverse cluster of restaurants just in this block including Flame & Fire (Brazilian), Chando's Tacos, Naruto Show Me the Sushi, The Habit Burger Grill, Firehouse Subs, etc. Looking forward to returning soon to try other dishes in their menu.
