For the next 30 mins i listened to what seemed like never ending amount of dishes and silverware be clanged and washed. I then almost asked to be moved but just hoped it would pass. No new diners came in. Not sure why we were put in the corner but it was a negative for sure. For our meals... i ordered a Bolognese. I love a bolognese and when it's on a menu i get excited. This one was bland and flavorless. I could make a much better one. Bolognese takes hours to slow cook and this was simply not a bolognese. For $32 it needs to be better. The lady working check-in was also working the dining room/lounge and cleaning tables. I asked her about this and she said her co-worker called in (not sure if that meant they called they would be late or not coming in)... Sounds like a very unreliable, selfish, and typical millennial employee is her co-worker who would leave this lady to work alone. What if this lady "called in" too - then the club wouldn't open at all. Anyway, they need to get rid of her co-worker and get a more reliable person to help this lady. I watched her hustle between checking people in, then grabbing a tray to clear people's plates, etc... She was constantly moving. I felt bad for all the work she had to do, on her own. The grounds were immaculate, the staff did one heck of a job making the greenery look beautiful for this tournament. There were clear paths for people to walk around the course with ample seating and plenty of stops to grab beers and drinks while watching the tournament. There were several volunteers around the course assisting people to their seats and while the majority of them had absolutely no idea where to direct us, they were all nice and happy and you couldn't even be mad they had no idea where to send you. The parking here isn't great, not sure it even exists so we had to park away from the course and walk but it ended up being fine. Again, only came here for an event so I'm sure the set up and flow is entirely different when there isn't a big tournament going on but it was a very enjoyable weekend here and hats off to all the volunteers and staff who turned this course over from concert to tournament.
