They have a large variety of cards for sale, as well as collectibles and supplies. Also snacks! The public bathroom is across the street and is also very nice and clean. (The mall does that.) Everyone has just been so lovely and Im excited to be a customer even though I live in Chicago. Its worth the drive!

There is no other place around with this many Lorcana or Riftbound singles. It's all at market price. Doing trades or buying a large volume? The owner is happy to work with you and make a deal. Which brings me to the most important part, the owner. He is friendly and more importantly he actually is a gamer so he not only understands the collector aspect of TCG but he is committed to the tournament aspect and league night aspects. The store is relatively new so it's still building a reputation but it's hopefully snowballing. This weekend it's hosting a Lorcana cash prize tournament and 40 people have signed up. 40 people showing up to a Lorcana local in 2025 in Chicagoland is almost unheard of.

They were transitioning cards back into digital listings to punch in values and availability, and because of this they were super helpful in flipping through stacks of freshly opened cards looking for ones I asked about. I walked out with a handful of things. Super helpful staff and understand their game lines well. Prices for singles were fair compared to online big companies so if I'm in the market this will be my first stop to buy.

Instead, we've clearly seen this small business is one that we are happy to patronize again and again. Let's run it down. Easy to find and plenty of easy access parking right out front. Except within the next few weeks, they are relocating in the same shopping center a few doors down. It sounds like the space will be almost triple the size and a little birdie mentioned they will have tables for all of us to sit at so you can stay longer comfortably, flip through binders, dig through bulk, etc. So if you don't see them at the old space, just wander down a few spaces. The owner and his team are so nice and extremely knowledgeable!!! Rich genuinely cares about his clients. He asks questions, he shares info, he's generous and we love popping in to see what he's collected lately. Everyone knows something about everything. They're also a very creative bunch that we've witnessed hand painting collectibles. The amount of stock they've got is wild! Every time we've walked in over the past few months, we've seen so many things flip. New things show up, get sold and more shows up. You don't get bored visiting this shop. They are very fair. They've got a punch card which is nice (even though I forget it's in my wallet about 1/3 of the time). The prices are in line with what we expect to pay for what we are buying. My whole family loves to spend time here and two and three hours can float by very quickly before we know it. If you collect almost anything, I'd say Midwest Collectibles is a great stop. From TCGs, figurines, wrestling memorabilia, needoh's, Funko, One Piece, Magic, Pokemon and so much more. They are on our regular rotation and will stay there.

Last card shop I went to absolutely fleeced me and I sold a card not knowing the market price (partially my fault, but surely they knew I'd look into it eventually. Which I did). But I digress.
