The guy working here (Eno) was very helpful and friendly, and told me they just moved to this location from Willow Springs. They don't have booster packs or sleeves yet, they've been selling singles until they start allocations. This is a fantastic shop for TCG players and Funko Pop collectors.

Asked if they have a showroom. No. Asked if they go to CSNS. No. Seems like a clearing house. Might be a good place for stackers to sell to, but not a place for collectors. They should take the Draped Bust off the door because you might be able to sell one there but you won't be buying one there.

John is a skilled locomotive repairman and DCC installer. John has great customer service skills after working in the the health care access industry. He is a very appropriate successor to the previous owner of this shop. In an atmosphere of hobby shops closings John taking over for a well regarded hobby shop as a knowledgeable and friendly shop owner is very good for the hobby. John deserves your business

I was in the Michaels in the Chicago Ridge location. A person was in there with a dog (not a…read moreservice animal). The owner was nipping and running up to anyone nearby but the worst part was that the dog shit in the checkout line. I avoided the poop and alerted another person to not step in it but another customer stepped in it. I alerted an employee at the check out while the crappy dog owner was also at the check out and also stated that the dog shit in the line but nothing was done before people stepped in it. Who knows? The dog shit is probably still there.

I was walking around the shop and then standing at the corner for 25 or so minutes while the one employee was talking with his friend (not a customer) and was completely ignored. I was one of three people that got frustrated and eventually walked out. The good news is I took my 70s and 80s rookie card collection elsewhere and walked out with $800 cash and around $400 in new purchases.
