I found this shop via Yelp *and* it was recommended to me by a couple of friends. So, I made an appointment. They quoted me for the oil change and an A/C inspection. I signed and they said they'd call once the inspection was complete. They called. Oil change done. Instead of the A/C inspection, they actually had a Summer special on an A/C service which accomplished the same thing but saved me some money! Believe the hype. This place is legit. If you have a vehicle that no other mechanic can figure out take it to these guys. They will probably figure it out. We had three vehicles that had problems for years. Other mechanics said, "The car is just too old. Get rid of it." We had two vehicles where the problem was previous mechanics installed parts wrong. This last vehicle we took to them was a Chevy S10. So I took my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder into them for a overheat/coolant leak issue. Made an appointment next day Friday and was given the run down on all what they found. Car has well over 150,000 miles. Not only did they find the pesky coolant leak but also a few other problems as well. They did everything in their power to help me save money on these costly repairs. Cutting labor costs and combining them with other service to bring the car back to factory specs. So we agree on the price and Andy promised it wouldn't go above that and in fact if he can save money on labor elsewhere he will. Was told that the car will be ready no later by next week Thursday. Why did I get a call Monday late evening telling me my car was ready? Not only are these guys great when it comes to helping you out but they do everything they can do get your car back as fast as they can. We show up to pick up the car and Andy was great in showing us all the old parts and what was wrong with them. They where also able to save me another $100 and because they had to drain the AC they recharged it on their dime. About the only complaint I have is the fan clutch is loud as hell. I sound like a semi driving down the block. This isn't a problem with them because I decided to go with an aftermarket part to save money. Going to give it another month to see if it gets quieter if not I am going to have to foot the bill for a genuine Nissan part. Guess this is a common problem when using the afterrmarket fan clutches for my SUV. read more

Khoi and the team here are AMAZING. The first time I went into his shop (3-4 years ago now) the IMA light was on for my Civic Hybrid. He checked out the error code and said that if he did anything, it would wipe the code out, and sent me directly to Vacaville Honda to have it taken care of on warranty. It would have been a $2000 fix that was under warranty, so he wanted to make sure it was taken care of through Honda. His honesty comes before sales to him, and I come here whenever my car needs work. About to go back for more services. I was at a dealership a while ago and they told me my brakes needed to be replaced. I called Khoi's team and they let me know that the brakes weren't in need of replacement... and that I should come to them to let them at least give a second opinion since dealerships often oversell needs. It's hard to find reasonably priced and honest auto service shop. Every time I take my cars to them they not only do excellent service but also tell me what's not need to be done right now and can wait for another service cycle. My wife took one of our cars to a service place which had some coupon for oil change. They gave her a list of things which needed to be replaced "soon" and will cost more than $1,000. I own a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Bought it new and for seven years had the Toyota dealership in Vacaville service it. Finally got fed up with their upselling and switched to Factory Specific where I found their expertise and integrity second to none. I just had my second timing belt and water pump replaced since I am close to 200K miles. In addition I had a pulley, tensioner, and thermostat replaced too. Plus an oil change.
