Factory Town - Music Venues Near Me - Miami, Florida

I came here for Miami Music week a few months ago. This venue is MASSIVE - there are 5 different stages of different sizes. It's like its own little festival! It's a fun venue but I believe it is 18+ so not the most PLUR venue at times. The drinks are insanely expensive and tip is automatically added. Will definitely be back soon! read more

This review is for Factory Town as an EDM concert venue, which I thought it was great for! The set up and stage reminded me of a mini version of EDC or Sunset Music festival. The large, open space really made the acoustics travel, and I never had an issue getting close to center stage or leaving the crowds. There was space for everyone and I loved how easy to navigate around. The biggest down sides were definitely cost of drinks and parking. It was $30 for a single well red bull vodka (almost a $10 mandatory service fee and tip), which was insane. The parking is non-existent, so the best bet would be to Uber or Lyft. Regardless, we had an awesome night, and would totally come back to see more sets here. read more

I love Factory Town! I don't feel I've ever had a bad time there and I always look forward to going again. Every time I go, I make sure to get cafecito from the guy they always have selling coffee there. He's a great guy and his coffee is great too! Other than him though, I have to say, there are no reasonably priced food or drinks. And, additionally, when I have bought food or drinks from other vendors (excluding the lovely cafecito guy), I have ended up being overcharged-- the charge on my credit card does not match the cost of the item. Additionally, I have been charged one price for an item one night, and then charged a different (larger) amount for that same item the literal next night. A lot of my friends have had this issue too, so beware. We all assume it's a problem with vendors self-tipping. But be smart, be aware, secure your belongings, and make sure you don't leave the tip screen open upon buying something and you will have a great time! read more

While the event I attended here was a solid 5 stars, the venue itself is only getting 4. The reason for that is the drink prices here are just absurd. Let me say that again. ABSURD. $25 and up plus they tack on an auto gratuity of 20%. Bartenders really didn't have to be friendly or efficient because they knew they were getting tipped anyway, and it's masked as a "service charge". But that is definitely their tip! The venue is enormous, plenty of space to navigate and the VIP section is the way to go. You could definitely get lost in there! While there is no parking on site, you can park for pretty cheap at the Embassy Suites MIA hotel, and then take a quick Uber ride over which is only a mile away. That was the most efficient way to do it since we were coming from out of town. I would definitely go back, but definitely not drink there! read more

I loved it! I went to the VIP area it was ok but the VIP is on the side of the stage so we went to the main floor. I'm not sure if they sell food but they do have bars. There is many lights which sorta felt like I was in stranger things tv show but in real life. Service was quick to get in because we had VIP. Drinks were $40 for high end drinks with extra shots! And regular patron margarita is 19.99. read more

Let me preface this review by stating that I am not a "nightlife" person and I am also not a fan of EDM. Ordinarily, I would not come to a place like Factory Town, but we had guests visiting for Basel and we wanted to check out the Mayan Warrior. I'll get the negatives out of the way first: Parking / ride share. What a cluster! I'm not turned off by the area (I'm at the nearby Home Depot twice a week at least) but there is really no good parking and the ride share drops you off a block away on busy 46th Street. Picking up rideshare afterwards was also a big of a PITA. I wouldn't even attempt to drive here and park. The "vendors" en route to the venue were also completely sketchy and I would avoid. There are legit vendors inside Factory Town, so there is no need to patronize the ones outside Events are all rain or shine and the entire space, except for the small art area, is open air. So if it's really hot or rainy, prepare to be uncomfortable. On to the positives: The space is HUGE!! We didn't stay past midnight for the event we attended. People were arriving as we were departing - a lot of people, but the place still didn't feel crowded. There are many areas for different DJs to set up (all EDM sounds the same to me, so I don't know why you would need different DJ's but I digress). The port-a-potty area was surprising clean! For a place with no fixed plumbing, they were downright luxurious! They have a limited beer selection and they also have some mixed drinks. There are a few different food vendors. Our friends got a pizza that looked and smelled amazing! The interior art area was pretty cool! We stayed inside there for quite a while as it was a little chilly outside. Our tickets were $40 each and I thought that was great value for all of the variety of entertainment offered here. Overall it was a good vibe. I don't plan on going back anytime soon, but it's nice to know that there is a cool, affordable space for alternative entertainment. read more

Getting there- forewarning, this isn't in the best area despite its somewhat secluded, surrounded by.. factories.. an Uber there wasn't too bad from the air bnb we got close by (didn't feel comfortable staying in afterwards). Seems they can improve the situation upon leaving with pick up for Ubers although this is expected at close of an event. We're there- Went to an event during art Basel, had general admission before 1am with headliner scheduled set 4am-7am.. prior to arrival, email said late fees would be imposed but it was dependent on event staff so I believe a lot of the experience has to do with event staff vs Venue. The lines were long and disorganized which may have been related to event staff as opposed to venue. Thankfully, they didn't charge the late fee for arrival after 1am. The different areas set up were spacious and the sound was contained despite 3 areas used at once. Bags/bathrooms/food- They were not strict with bags although they said bags must be under 12x12 - clear bags are NOT required. They had food trucks which had good options, drink selection was not that great, my friend wanted vodka and they had tequila mixers. I was surprised they had a section of porta potties which surprisingly was not a long wait but they was the only option along with open standing urinals in the wide open. I also wished there were more seating options by the end of the night. Cons: I believe the experience would have been better if it was 21+ event (it was 18+)and stricter guidelines with checking bags as I read you couldn't bring lose OTC meds in yet I was surrounded by young crowd smoking joints. They also had an off system with checking IDs by one guy at the end of the gate then a girl just slapping on 21 + wristbands feet away with no Communication with guy checking IDs. Not sure they had a system in separating individuals not 21 but I didn't witness any organization. Overall, despite a very large event, it was organized and there was not a long wait for food, drinks, bathrooms. read more

I LOVE factory town. This is the perfect large, open air event space for Miami. Since Space has been overselling their shows so much, I would much rather go to Factory Town where I know I won't be squished and there is plenty of room to dance. They have food and vendors selling jewelry and clothes. There are places to chill and relax if you get tired. There is free water provided at the hydro station near the entrance. The only downside is the bathrooms are porta potties. read more

Went here for an art Basel closing event and besides my wallet being stolen we had an absolute blast!! Although we said we'd stay till the end we did not make it that long lol. I will definitely be back for future events. I do suggest ubering as their parking areas are very sketchy due to them allowing people to park at businesses, and some owners don't allow this. So you risk your car being towed. We ubered there and back and it was daily cheap. read more

I went to Factory Town on Saturday for 305 Day and while I believe it is a cool venue, there was some things that weren't so appealing. First of all, the most unappealing thing about this place is the parking situation! It is awful! There is no set parking for the venue and this is an warehouse area so theres a lot of tow away zones. Now some of the businesses would let you park for $20! Yes, $20 to park in a Hialeah warehouse area. Unacceptable. Some places were even charging $40! While I know the venue isn't necessarily responsible for this, they should be responsible for providing safe, affordable parking for their venue. The other thing was that some of the areas inside Factory Town were dusty and had puddles (my sneakers got all dirty) but I can look past that bc it is outside. All in all its a cool place but the parking situation was very off-putting. read more

We went to Hocus Pocus / Factory Town and had a good time, but parking scammers messed it all up. Everybody planning to go there should read this review. After we've arrived, we've got parked in front of a warehouse with the help of some staffers in vests and equipped with light sticks. They charged us $30. When we came back early in the morning our car was gone. There were now 3 different guys sitting in chairs and telling us that we had parked in a tow away zone of their company, while there were still many cars parked and one other car was even standing on the spot where our car had been. They said that we should have parked with them and that those guys who parked us were not allowed to do so. Fun fact, they even told us that they were already there when we arrived, but that was an obvious lie because the area is relatively small. After some discussion about this obvious scam, we went to the towing company. The guy there told us that the owner of the warehouse is living in Chile and is personally surveying this warehouse via camera all the time, even at night. I'm not kidding, that's what the guy said to us. I mentioned that the guys who were sitting there right now did pretend to be the owners. He said that they were lying and that we would still have to pay $145. So, we did in the end because we really wanted to go home. It's obvious that this messed up our whole experience with Factory Town, and whoever is responsible at Factory Town should do something against those scammers. Factory Town - the location of the warehouse - Music Venues Near Me - Miami, Florida

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE!!! I had my phone stolen at this venue as I attended the Circoloco event during Art Basel on 12/9/23. I have been an attendee of Club Space affiliated events and venues for years as well as many festivals/events across the US for over a decade and this has certainly been one of the most violating experiences I have endured at a venue that truly jeopardized my safety and that of other attendees. My phone was stolen from INSIDE of my closed zippered crossbody purse while standing off to the side of the main stage crowd-not even 20 minutes into being at Factory Town. This is the first time have ever had my phone stolen and it was immediately turned off. And with that said, any attempt to recover my phone was not even going to be a viable option. The lack of security personnel and actual police presence inside is unfathomable and the balance of the non-safety staff inside does not care about your safety either. If you are approaching them to ask a question or for assistance rather than lining their pockets with your money (i.e.-purchasing drinks/bottle service, merchandise, etc.) they brush you off and ignore you. I had to approach 4 different event staff to even get pointed remotely in the direction of the Lost and Found area. The Lost and Found "area" is solely a large QR code on the wall that will lead you to a landing page to show you what has been turned in without a physical person to actually help you with your issue along with a "security guard" that is just ready to send you away. Although the website says that you "file a claim", there isn't actually a landing page to do so. Again, this further emphasizes their lack of concern for personal safety and to withhold their liability. Overall, there is an extreme lack of genuine respect for others in today's dance music community and venues like Factory Town are now just full of scammers and professional thieves that are being overlooked by security by this event group to oversell tickets. read more

I really enjoy factorytown. This unique venue sets the stage for some pretty intricate events. Some of my favorite events here include III points, Elrow, and art Basel. This venue attracts strange artists and even stranger attendees. Unlike other Miami EDM spots, factorytown often pulls a large European fan base. I don't care for the parking and bathroom situation here, but can appreciate the sacrifice for such a massive space. I love how cheap tickets normally are for events. read more

Finally Miami is getting a permanent event space! This is honestly such a good idea given the direction we see the wind blowing in the downtown area. I've always thought that Miami needs a permanent space like we see in many other cities, and I seriously hope the organizers consider hosting 1 day music festivals like they have all over Europe. The acoustics need a bit more work on the main stage. It's hard to make out the high notes when in the back or even the middle. The side stage however has perfect acoustics. Very intimate and mimicked the quality found at festivals like iiipoints. Some internet chatter has some mock-ups making it look like a sort of mock village is in the works, with a farmers market and yoga studio type spaces. Very cool, and can't wait to see how the space pans out. Note to organizers: please bring 1-day music festivals to Miami. Millennials are getting older and can't abuse their bodies all week like they used to! read more

The venue is large and the place has many vendors to pick from. The light-shows that are played are crazy too. My only problem is the crowds can sometimes get intense and lead to problems with people - just be prepared for that. read more

I came here for a concert in November 2024, and this rating is solely based on how delicious the burger were... I believe the vendor was called "The Bear Of Burgers"? I'm not sure if they have a storefront now, but I hope they do in the future. One of the best burgers I've ever had and the highlight of Factory Town for me haha! read more
