Great place for a turn up on the weekend or even a weekday! Sections are worth it but if you don't want to splurge on a bottle I recommend getting there a little early and waiting for the party to turn up. Reason being.. the line tends to get longer as the night goes on and it may be hard to get in without a table. But great area, right in wynwood around other bars and clubs. Perfect place to celebrate a bday, bachelor/ette weekend! Music is good. Spanish music mostly but they'll throw in some hip hop & R&B. I guess it depends on the vibe of the crowd. read more

No cover if you enter before a certain time. When we left it was empty Drinks are okay, but expensive. Bartender was friendly Bathroom semi clean, they also have a bathroom attendant. My gripe is they ONLY play Spanish music. I was there for one hour and heard maybe one or two songs, and the socks were jack Harlow songs, lol!!! We went for taco Tuesday / Happy Hour around 7 ish and it was empty! I was very skeptical because I've never been to a taco Tuesday and no one was there ! But we had a great experience ! Happy Hour was till 8 ! They in fact have Happy Hour every day of the week which is nice! Food/ drinks : the tacos came in 2's and were 6bucks! They were filled pretty well and so flavorful! I really enjoyed them! The Fish had a Light crisp to them and the sauce on top was tasty. We had the guacamole and it was fresh and good but the chips were stale . They brought us fresh hot chips and it made a world of a difference. The guac was 6 bucks as well I believe. The like Margarita was tasty i had two rounds and the first round was really good the second round I believe it was a different bartender so it was just okay. I came to eat here on the weekend. The place is located in the Wynwood area. Parking is very tricky here on weekends. They have metered street parking that you pay with an app. You may need to take the first available space that you can find and walk from there like I ended up doing. The place is kind of cool. It has an open roof and two bars. It is decorated with some neat murals, as is all of Wynwood. In the evenings, this spot transforms into a club. The restaurant part of the place is behind one of the bars. I ordered the El Pescadito Taco. It was delicious; very tasty.It came in a pair of 3. I also got a couple of drinks from here. They also offer bottle service, and hookah there. I did not partake in neither. This place is a bit pricey, and they do not let you open up a tab. You either have to pay cash or swipe your card every time you order. Like most places in that area, they also add the tip to your bill. The staff there is pretty friendly and the place seemed pretty safe. This place is more of a 3.5 place but I rounded up. Good food, decent service, horrible parking, pricey food and drink pretty much sums up my visit. read more

I had gone to Pilo's before during the night. This was my first time I had gone during the day. Ladies were free on Sunday and men were 40$ each but the cover came with a drink at least. Either way, we were invited to the VIP area on the main stairs. We went, and it was more spacious fresher than the main area. The music was good, half spanish/reggaeton half english/trap. I thought that it being a Mexican place it would be mostly spanish but it was still enjoyable. The attire was very casual, very urban as you would expect in a place in Wynwood. However, I do have to say that the place gets very hot during the day. I was sweating a lot! I would most likely go back to this place but during the night. I used to frequent Pilo's in Brickell quite often, good food there, mostly tame in terms of patrons. This sister establishment was quite opposite energy. I did not try the food, but was first introduced with a line out the door. Luckily some friends, got me shuffled through into the intense back courtyard which had nonstop DJ energy and a lot of dancing / drinks / energy from the crowd. If you're looking for loud beats, nonstop DJ sets and an amped crowd, this is a great spot for you. If you're looking for something more low key, consider their Brickell location. read more

The most Wynwood taco experience ever. I took a star because Pilo's has two identities and I want the restaurant identity to shine a little more. Vibe: picture your a bar/club outdoor situation with tasty food. Now your open your wyes and welcome to Pilo's. There was a dj the night I visited and I wont lie he gave me old school 106 & park hits and I was here for all that. The servers were great and attentive. Couldnt find a menu which made it tough to order because asking the server questions over a DJ was rough. The tables only had barstools which is always annoying to me. Imma need a little back support with my taco. This setup was my only option at 7pm. I understand we are going to flip to a dance party experience but lets do that a little later please. Food: 5 stars. The tacos were perfection. The flavor was full and packed a little punch. The drinks were amazing. And by drinks I mean tequila me please!!! Since I didnt have a menu it stopped me from going through the hassle of ordering more but I definitely would have. read more

It was very fitting that my first time here was on Cinco de Mayo. The outdoor seating is very nice with colorful outdoor seating and decorations. We ordered the lime and pomegranate margaritas which were very delicious and strong. I definitely was feeling it after one drink. We then ordered the queso and guacamole dips to start which were very delicious and fresh. They were doing a mix-and-match tacos just for today which did take a while to come out but were very filling and flavorful. THE PLACE: Pilos is located in Wynwood, difficulty parking is expected in this area. Pilo's is relatively small, but its very cute, feels modern and cozy and played great music. The Dj did a great job engaging guests and keeping the party going. THE SERVICE: Bouncer and waiters seemed professional, but I didn't really have much encounters with them. Daily happy hour! Everything was $6! $6 for 2 tacos on happy hour menu! Mon-thurs 4-9pm, Fri-Sun 3-8pm. The DJ on Tuesday evening was amazing!! He played lots of 2000s music that was a nice evening of throwbacks. I was surprised how yummy the margaritas were, and they were a nice size. The tacos were full! We ordered the fish tacos and were quite pleased! We also ordered guacamole and chips. Our chips were stale, so we asked for another order of fresh chips which they kindly made for us. The portions were surprisingly great! The two tacos filled me up. One of my favorite things was the decor! The murals, the skulls, the setup was really cool. Glad to have found this little gem. P.s. The service from the bartender at the outside bar and the cocktail waitresses were phenomenal, and the door manager/promoter, but the manager that deals with the registers etc inside was a (not going to name call). Since no one was around and I was advised the food menu is inside, asked him. Instead of sarcastically saying I don't know, he could've simply told me it's on the tv screen, which I later found out. After brunch we stumbled across this place. It had a great entrance and the music was bumping so we decided to try this place out. Super cute open outdoor space. From the looks of things we may have missed brunch and came in right before the day party started! Who knew! Awesome drink specials, can't beat a $6 margarita. The dj must have known he had some old folks in the building (us) because he was playing all the hits from the early 2000s lol. Sunday day party for the win! Walked in here on a Saturday night and it was pretty cool. It wasn't heavily packed but the music and the vibe were great! The Dj was awesome and interactive and played great music! From Salsa to hip hop to reggaeton. There is an inside bar but the area is more of a resting spot cause it is quite small. Not sure if there's any food here though but the drinks were great! I hate to say it but...I will not return to Pilo's Street Tacos in Wynwood. Where do I start? The food? The drinks? The service? I was unimpressed with all three. The only thing I liked about Pilo's Tacos was the murals and decoration. Upon arrival, we sat outside. There were at least 5-6 waiters/waitresses clustered together, and not one of them greeted us at our table. A few minutes passed by and still, no assistance; someone in my group had to call them over to the table. Finally, they came over and they could barely hear us, so they were taking off their masks to communicate. I think we should've just sat inside. Since the place is a "club/restaurant", you have to pay before you receive anything. So if you need to make any adjustments or add on, you would have to have an entirely separate transaction. A lot of places are like this but the setup is just a little strange. It felt like I was just sitting in the middle of a club expecting service like a cafe, Lol. The drinks were not mixed well-- I had to send mine back. The food? Served in foil takeout containers. All in all, I've had better food, drinks, and service. read more

Had a bit of mixed feelings about this place. Came here because the music sounded absolutely amazing and we had just left Gramps, another bar that was in the area. In comparison, the energy just wasn't there at this place. Definitely felt like an older/more boujee crowd that would rather people watch and get bottle service than dance to the loud lit music. There was a $10 cover to get in which wasn't bad at all late on a Friday night. The drinks were pretty good although very expensive and not strong, boo. The place is well designed and the look to it is really nice and modern. I personally loved the place and the music the most. Whoever was DJing on July 2nd, keep up the good work!! This place closes relatively early too compared to other places, so it feels more like a sit down place. This one is a tough one. My friends and I came to grab a drink after dinner at Le Chick around 1030/11 and the vibe was relaxed but with some great music. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks subpar but decent for the money and vibe. The next day we returned around 12 when we were told things pick up and now the place had a $10 cover for women and was strictly Latin music (merengue mostly in the half hour we were there) and again drinks subpar. I think the first time we came was good for music drinks and convo but I don't know that I'd return for a party vibe. read more

But had a decent time shared with my friends is it COVID safe Not really very crowded but what do you expect out of a night club. And tables availability is very 2/10 chances you would get one. The table we managed to get eventually got bought out after we were consuming more than 300$ worth of their service they notified us someone purchased the table so we had to get out but I guess that's how it goes just annoying to get comfortable than get kicked out and figure out where to put our hookah and drinks. read more

Huge shout out to Paola and the rest of the servers/ bartenders. They showed us how to really do it. We walked into Pilos the first time gen admin thought it was amazing and headed back a second time. That when we met paola. Doesn't stop there, our server recommended the GREATEST drink I've ever had. It had a whole ice cream popsicle concoction inside of it. Legit dream about it. Pilos became our "date night" spot. The place is a whole damn VIBE. My wife and I were treated so well. The music and the food ? Phenomenal. I can't stress the music enough. I can never ever sit down. The service is actual service! Horrible experience specifically with the apparent Hispanic bouncer at the front with the high haircut being racist and rude to my Peruvian friend presenting her Id. He kept exclaiming that she needed to have an American Id??? He kept saying "What country are we in" and " that's not my problem" when we asked what other ID can people use. Like Miami doesn't get international tourists. We don't recommend out of town tourists coming because of this racist and disrespectful worker.
