I'm a veteran of the underground dance music scene for over 25 years...dating back to hearing Sasha and Digweed in the late 90s in Twilo, NYC. This is why i'm totally shocked that they agree to play in this venue. I wouldn't even call it a sound system. I wouldn't even use the word 'system'. It's just sound, more specifically, NOISE. Noise bouncing off the cavernous walls with way too much reverb. You could hear the bass but the elements of each track got drowned-out completely. This place looks like it was formerly an old movie theater and the people who bought the building and decided to open a nightclub, didn't exactly hire the best sound guys. They just bought expensive speakers, woofers and amps...and rigged it somehow....completely not accounting for the physical space itself. I love Sasha and Digweed. But M2? Never again. Miami's electronic music scene is one of the best in the world. After leaving and moving to Richmond, my partner and I are always missing all the options we had in Miami. We used to live near M2 Club, this was back when it was a vacant space. We were extremely excited to check this venue out for a Resistance Miami show. We were a group of four. I think I've evolved into preferring more dancy electronic music. I like something I can dance to more, and this specific show we went to wasn't for me. I recognize that isn't the venue's fault. However, my biggest note is I wish this club has a space to destimulate. It was huge so you were able to have some space from other people, but half of the space seemed to have speakers in the floor so everything vibrated. When I wanted to take a second to sit down, the chairs were moving nonstop from the base. You weren't able to leave and come back in, so it felt like I had to commit to leaving if I wanted a second to breathe. They've put on an incredible performance and space here. Great location. Now that the venue has finally settled down it's back to its heavy and steady house music. With resistance this place always has headliners with great visuals and M2 service is great as well. Very safe, great crowd even better music for house and techno enthusiast. read more

That was easily the worst experience I've ever had going out, ever. I walked in with general admission tickets ($20) and was led into a small side room that was tiny and had an awful smell. Like really, really bad smell. It was like 99% guys and the drinks were wicked expensive too. 0/10 would never, ever, under any circumstance go back. Came here for a Bingo Loco event. Immediately I recognized the venue as what was previously Club Mansion. Some things were different but some decor remained the same. Not sure if this happens at all events but one thing to keep n eye for is the service gratuity charge. We didn't realize they had added about 25% to our bar tab. We didn't realize this the first round and wound up double tipping. Our friend asked for an itemized receipt and that was where we saw it on the next round. read more

A new club / dance venue in what was formerly known as Mansion. The venue has two floors and at the event we attended, the upper floor was designated VIP. There are a good number of bars, although the drink selection was mediocre at best -- I'm not sure if this changes based on the event. Staff were relatively friendly but is a club so don't expect too much. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! The staff is so rude! My girlfriend got thirsty while we were dancing so I asked for a cup of water at the bar. The bartender refused to provide it. I was shocked and confronted him about it. The bartender immediately threatened to call security on us and kick us out. In retrospect I should have told him to do it and had my girlfriend film it so we could post it to social media. Music is also painfully loud here. Don't waste your time or your money on this place. I am very serious when I say that M2 has the potential to be one of the best nightclubs in the world. I went to M2 for the first time during F1 weekend when they were hosting a RESISTANCE event. I had been at a different event all day and was pretty exhausted by the time I got there around midnight, but I loved this club so much that I ended up staying all night for 5 hours and coming back the following night!!! This place is absolutely electric. Within 10 minutes of being in there you feel absolutely crazy (in the best way). I think they pump extra oxygen into the room because you definitely feel high on life in here and will never get tired! In the main room, the sound system is absolutely nuts. Definitely bring ear plugs because they have massive speakers planted directly on the dancefloor. There is plenty of room to dance and you don't feel overly crowded, but the club still feels busy. There are bars located all around the dancefloor and in the front room, so you never have to be fighting crowds to get a drink. The visual production is insane and is the best in Miami- with strobes, lasers, and a MASSIVE screen at the front. I didn't go upstairs because it was only for VIP tables, but I didn't even mind. THIS is the best club in Miami, and nobody will change my mind. The only problem is... they can't get any damn artists in here. When they don't have a "big" artist playing, they won't open the main room. The lounge is still a cute and fun area, but I wouldn't willingly spend a night out in the M2 lounge. Unfortunately, a certain local venue that we all know (rhymes with "FACE") has monopolized Miami and makes it next to impossible for other clubs to get good electronic artists. M2 needs a few months of great shows to get its name on the map. They are supposedly bringing back RESISTANCE every Saturday starting in October, and trust me that I will be there every weekend. Drink prices are slightly higher than other local clubs, I think I was paying around $30 for a vodka redbull. Ladies- promoters are doing tables here so use that to your advantage. Take my word for it that M2 will soon be on the top 100 list for best clubs in the world! And don't forget that you heard it here first! read more

I had a really disappointing experience with one of the bouncers at the door near the vip tables side.His behavior came across as blatantly racist, and it made me and my group feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Visiting from LA and M2 had Legit party vibes. Meaning this is what you want to experience when you go to a club to have a great time.
