I know they're going out of business but customer svc went completely out the window. We visited their Kyle location and spoke to Bert who was great and very informative. However, we visited on July 9th and apparently there was a huge internet outage that the salesman couldn't run any numbers or print receipts etc. So we picked out a bed, he gave us the pricing with the box springs and told us to come back on Thursday and he will get all our info for delivery. We went back to the Kyle location come Thursday and they were closed with this sign on the door that states if we travel to the south Austin location we would receive 10% off. So, we got in our vehicle and traveled to that location. Got there and spoke with someone who claimed he was the manager. Showed him the bed we had looked at and wanted to purchase. However he gave us a price that was not what we were expecting...about $400 more. So we told him the situation with their internet and how we visited the other location and they were unexpectedly closed so we came there and asked if he would honor the pricing. He refused and said that the pricing given was a sale price and the sale ended on the 9th when the internet was down statewide. I advised him I didn't understand why they wouldn't honor it as the internet being completely down on sales day was something out of everyone's control not to mention we went to go speak with Bert today to purchase but there was a staffing issue in the Kyle location. He copped an attitude and said he was not going to stick his neck out for us and there was nothing he was willing to do. It was a blessing in disguise as I didn't wanna do business with a company that doesn't value their customers time and money. We waltzed our way over to Mattress Firm across the street and they were GREAT! We ended up purchasing something newer with an adjustable base for around the same price the "manager" was trying to sell us a mattress and box spring. read more

We've bought our queen size and king size mattress from here within the past 6 years. We still love them and find them comfortable. John helped us out and he was great. He didn't try to upsell us, and showed us different options. Gave us space to shop around, and not pushy as other stores can be. Wow! So my mom recently moved out of Austin and needed to take our guest bed with her. Well as it turns out, she wants to come spend the month of December in town with her daughters. We needed a bed IMMEDIATELY! I had the factory mattress jingle stuck in my head so I headed that way. I was so impressed with Bill Waller. He understood we needed something in a hurry and didn't show me the $1000 matress but was reasonable and showed me the three best options based on how I know my mom sleeps. He was above and beyond knowable and I ended up getting some add onns but still spent less then expected. I noticed a nomination sheet for "Employee of the Year" on his desk and I, as a customer, nominate Bill Waller. He is very patient, knowledgeable and engaging! He doesn't try to sell you the most expensive bed in the store, he listens to your needs and works with you. Bill Waller is a fabulous salesman - helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and let me know of other offers and deals without doing the hard sell thing (I hate that). And he treated me like an adult who might know a thing or two - when trying to choose between two mattresses, he told me one had individually wrapped springs, and said, "That's where they wrap each ... Do you know what those are?" Yes! Instead of just assuming I know nothing (when I do know a little bit about mattresses, having just done a little research), he stopped himself to ask if I did. That made me feel quite respected. He did explain a bit more to fill in the blanks of my knowledge. I appreciated that. I had gone to the mattress firms in the shopping center and was quite unimpressed with what they had in stock, the prices (even with Labor Day sales) and the customer service. I walked into factory mattress, told Robby what I needed and my price point and he delivered! He was very friendly, very helpful, and prompt! My boyfriend and I moved into our new place last Saturday and we had originally ordered a mattress from amazon and paid extra shipping fees to ensure it was delivered before we moved into the apartment. Well, the day of moving we got a notification stating that our order would be delayed by a weeks time frame. We needed the mattress NOW so we canceled the Amazon order and went shopping for one in person. Already frustrated, we went into Mattress Firm and Ashley Furniture and either their price was way out of our budget or they weren't able to get us the mattress immediately. Our final stop was at Factory Mattress (at this point we were beyond frustrated and did not have high hopes). When we walked in we were very upfront about what we needed. I called them today and spoke to a woman with perhaps the prettiest last name I'd ever come across, Lori Yellowbird. EXCELLENT service from beginning to end!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! We live in Houston and were picking up a bed from my sister in Austin. We decided to buy a new mattress set and went to Factory Mattress. We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by Robby Saul! LUCKY US! He was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable and hilarious and made the awkward experience of trying out every mattress in the story much less awkward. He was very friendly and patient and answered every concern we had. The next day we went to the warehouse and loaded up our new mattress set into our UHaul and headed back home to Houston. Well, when we put our new bed together, we discovered that one of the box springs was too small so we called Robby. Since we are in Houston (where there are no Factory Mattress stores), it made it more complicated. We were immediately called back by Steven Jr and later Steven Sr who immediately set out on a mission to solve our problem. They also called us a few times to update us and fill us in on the progress. We got a phone call Sunday morning from Ruvaldo letting us know that, if we were available, he would be going to their warehouse and picking up the correct box spring and bringing it all the way to Houston for us. When he got here, he was in his own personal truck. He came in, switched out the box springs, was very apologetic and extremely nice, and headed back to Austin. He drove 6 hours (round trip) for a 5 minute job. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone at Factory Mattress for the OUTSTANDING customer service!!!! We purchased our adjustable frame and two twin mattresses. After trying my mattress out for a couple of months, I decided it was not the correct comfort level. I called within a week and within 3 days the company delivered a new frame and box spring just to be sure everything layed perfectly.
