I ordered egg rolls, filet mignon pho and a beef banh mi to-go. The pho had bland broth, two slivers of meat and the noodles turned gummy five minutes after the broth was poured. They also forgot the bean sprouts, lime and jalapeño that usually come with the dish. The banh mi was okay, not much flavor. However, the egg rolls & it's dipping sauce were good. read more

It's so close to home and I wanted to love it but the food just wasn't that good. Their Vietnamese sandwiches terrible. They taste like they're smothered in maple syrup for some reason. They're pho is okay but not worth the price. I was really let down by this place. Pho Dat is much better but 20 mins further. read more

The beef filet pho was tender and flavorful, the fried egg rolls were crispy and packed with yum, and even my daughter's safety food (she's a finicky eater) of fried rice and shrimp was better than average. I usually drive to 242 from Huntsville for my Pho fix but glad to find this new spot in Conroe. Food and service was excellent. Pho was very flavorful as were the spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls where they didn't skimp on the beef and sauce. We also ordered Thai milk tea with tapioca and it was delicious. My fav Vietnamese restaurant in Conroe so far. As a Vietnamese, I have been tried pho in many places. Unfortunately I couldn't find one that is good until this place opens. Absolutely the flavor can't be exactly like pho in Vietnam because of the ingredients here are different but I can tell they try their best to make the pho flavor as same as possible. The egg roll here is the "must try" to be honest. I really really like the egg roll and will generously give it a 9/10. Have not tried the spring roll yet. The bánh canh (is written as "udon" on the menu) is good too. The crispy noodles (the sauce is a little bit salty for me) and the fried rice combination are good too. The restaurant is clean and the service is good. I'll give Fabulous pho 4 out of 5 because I am pretty strict about food from my country. Highly recommend this place to eat with friends and family :D read more

The food was excellent. Spring rolls were fresh, tender, and delicious - none of the dry stickiness that you sometimes get when they're premade. Lemongrass beef vermicelli was very flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh vegetables. The pan fried noodles were both crisp and tender, the sauce was flavorful without being overly salty, and the vegetables were crisp and the seafood was tender. The service was a little quirky. Our waiter misunderstood the order, didn't repeat it back, and so everyone was surprised when we got three entrees for two people. My entree came several minutes after my husband's entree (and the extra entree!) The staff did an excellent job of sorting it all out and making sure we actually got the right food and were charged correctly. I also really enjoyed watching one tv screen scrolling photos of dishes from the menu. There are so many things I want to come back to try! We will definitely be back! read more

I have never tried Pho, and was hesitant because my taste buds are not adventurous. I had seen this restaurant near the top of the best rated list for quite some time. I finally tried it. First of all, the staff was friendly and patient with my many questions. As an appetizer, I ordered beef spring rolls. I have always avoided these at other establishments because the fact I could see though it, bothered me. I know, I'm a tad bit quirky. They were delicious! I not only tolerated them, but I actually liked them. The texture was so interesting. I ordered the pho soup with filet mignon. I was concerned about the raw meat, but I was reassured it is not raw, since it cooks itself in the hot soup. When I first tried the soup, I was concerned because the flavor was very different than anything I had tried before. After putting in the bean sprouts and herbs, I tried it again. I was more than pleased. I was surprised how the fresh basil gave a completely different flavor to the soup. These people know what they are doing! I also had a milk tea with extra boba and lychee boba. It is a unique, delicious flavor. It tastes like Kahlua! Needless to say, we will definitely be back! read more

The owner came around and introduced himself and you can tell he is passionate about providing the best experience. The pho is not the 5 star, but a strong 4, I gave it a 5 because of the restaurant its self. But a serious pho lover might agree so I don't want to mis lead you, BUT that being said I would choose this place over my dingy pho place with great taste because of cleanliness and exceptional customer service. read more

My family and I LOVE this place! My son was an infant when we started going there and he is now 2. Ever since my first day there the owner/manager has personally greeted us to follow up on how we were doing. My son and him quickly became friends and to this day still have a bond. My wife and I were looking for something different and decided to visit Fabulous Pho. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, excellent flavors and a most pleasant waiter and waitress. The place is new with very traditional decor warm and welcoming. The first thing you notice is the aroma of the cooking, smelled wonderful. The serving sizes were generous, I am a big eater. I ordered Chinese food and it was some of the best I have had outside of China town. My wife ordered a Pho Dish and was extremely happy with it. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty with a nice peanut sauce that had a bit of a kick. Will be back. read more

ROACHES!!! .. we are new to the area and tried it one night.. I ordered to go and thought it was pretty decent so maybe a couple weeks later we go during the day to dine in for lunch... the pork noodles weren't tasting too great to begin with but with enough soy sauce it was edible. Husband was enjoying his phó and as we are talking I see a little friend crawling on the window ledge. We call the waiter over and he apologizes saying sometimes things come in the door so they can't control it... I don't buy that excuse so I stop eating but husband keeps eating... I'm uneasy about what I'm seeing then the waiter has a manager comes over to apologize and say they will discount the bill . He goes on to say how they called someone to spray the place but I guess it's not working ...as he walks away I see another roach by his feet ... so by his own admission and the fact that it was multiple roaches in different areas let's me know they have a serious infestation and I wouldn't dare even feed this to my dog. Stumbled upon this place while driving to Dallas. We usually go to places like Pho Saigon and Pho Bihn in Houston. Tofu spring rolls were better than most that we have had. Pho was as good as Pho Binh. Atmosphere was better than most Vietnamese restaurants we have visited read more

We always order the spring rolls, they're so good and don't fall apart when you eat them! The vermicelli beef stir fry is the best thing ever!!! FULL of flavor! My husband and I tried this place and really enjoyed it. It has nice decor and smells good. Service was fast and very friendly. We ordered spring rolls with peanut sauce for an appetizer. They were fresh and tasted great. We both ordered the Beef and Lemongrass Vermicelli with an eggroll. The meat was tender and the dish was flavorful. The vegetables were cooked just right and the broth and spices were tasty. I really liked the eggrolls too! We plan to go back and try the pork and shrimp next time. read more

This is my new go-to place for Vietnamese! The service is quick and the staff are always friendly. The pho, lemon grass beef vermicelli, egg rolls, and sandwiches are great! Also, their egg rolls do not contain shrimp paste (shellfish allergy friendly restaurant!!). The portion sizes are fairly large and the price is similar to other places I've been to. Great service and food. The restaurant not only has wonderful PHO but there selection of food is much larger. The restaurant is family owned, clean and very good service. My family spent over 100 years in Vietnam. I was born there and speak the language. My parents and grandparents arrived in Vietnam in 1918- exactly 100 years ago as a missionary in Hue. My father was born in Hue as were two of my siblings. I was born up in the mountains in Banmethuot. With us having spent 100 years in Vietnam I think I am a pretty good judge as to authenticity, cleanliness, service, price and more. My family and I have eaten there quite often, You don't have to go all the way down to Bellaire spending an 1+ hours driving and gas $$$ when you can get the same wonderful food in Conroe, Texas. Everything I have tasted is WONDERFUL. Vietnamese food is very healthy and that they don't use very much oil and also they use lots of greens. Having lived all over the world most of my life I have a pretty good flavor for Asian cuisine. Vietnamese food is far better than Chinese food (just my opinion) Try it, you will love it, it's just off 336N and I-45 in the Academy lot. My Daughter has been planning for us to come here for her 11th birthday. She says it is her favorite place to eat. This was my first time and I was very impressed. The greetings the service the gifts for my little girl. Everyone at our table ordered something different than the rest. Our family was in a party of 10 and we always share samples from our plates with one another. The food was delivered faster than I anticipated and Everything that everyone ordered was fantastic. The pho combination is my favorite and my husband digs the grilled pork banhmi sandwiches. Typically it's hard to find good pho in north Houston but they have it down! We usually order to go and the broth stays plenty warm! My only real "complaint" would be the lack of sauce you get with a to go order. Thankfully I keep plenty on hand at home. read more

We really liked the great service today about 1:00 pm for lunch. Both young men are friendly and outgoing. They appreciated our service. The owner is more reserved, as is the custom of many from Vietnam. He appreciated our visit. Clean and spotless. We thought the egg rolls were very nice and the spring rolls were just as expected (both pork and shrimp rolls). Some may not care for the chewy texture; it is just as I experienced during my time in Vietnam. We will return; the menus has many items to try; fresh vegetables, Pho, and many other dishes. We expect each dish will end up with another take-home meal for us, so the real effective rate for 2 is about $15-18/meal. I've spent more at McDonald's, haven't you. Me and my husband stopped in for dinner and the food and service were both excellent. Wed never had Vietnamese food until now but our server Trevor seemed very knowledgeable and friendly, we both took his recommendations and I got the shaken beef and my husband got the vermicelli beef lemongrass. The food came out in no time and it was hands down one of my favorite meals, the shaken beef was some of the most tender and delicious meat I've ever had, my husband practically licked his bowl clean. After our meal our server helped us pick out the boba shakes wed heard so much about, I got the mango and my husband got the pineapple; both tasted great and were perfect for a hot summer day.
