This spot can be easily overlooked based on the location. It's in a pretty dingy looking plaza, but the shop inside looks nothing like the outside. On the inside its clean and well kept. There's also 2 salon chairs where you can get your hair done for both men and women. People in there are friendly and takes the time to do an excellent job. The pedicures are the spa ones and they even do hot stone massages with your pedicure at no extra charge. Best of all, if you pay with cash you get an extra discount! Absolutely my favorite place in the east bay to get my nails done. I'm picky about how I like my nails, & I am beyond happy with the results. The white tips look natural, classy, & so well done. They do not over-charge, which made me feel comfortable from the get-go. Keishan (not sure on spelling) was the wonderful gentleman who took care of me. I highly recommend him. Went in yesterday to get my nails done while I was waiting on my daughter to finish a school project, I was able to get right in for my manicure and pedicure. On 5/26/17 I made an appointment for a mani/pedi at 3pm. I was right on time but yet they helped a walk-in that walked in literally 30 seconds after me. I was here for a mani/pedi & would like both services done at the same time if possible since time is money!! But the walk-in requested a pedi only so of course she got seen first instead of me. Disappointed yet again. I decided to check this place out because of the reviews. I walk in, everyone just looks at me so I'm not even sure who to tell what I want. I decide to tell the first person I see that I want a manicure, all I get for a response is "ok" I decide to have a seat and shortly I'm taken to a area to get my nails done. I was out in like 20 min. Which sure that can be a plus but I hate feeling rushed. The color I chose is not the color I got. I only received two coats so the color wasn't even dark. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The mani was nice enough, however the pedicure was not completely comfortable for me. The water was too hot, he scrubbed the top of my foot (very soft and sensitive skin) I was left with scratch mark on one of my feet, and unfortunately the gentleman did not speak English. Also the hot towel he used was EXTREMELY hot, felt like it was burning me until it cooled a little. read more

I went here for the first time today based off Yelp reviews...I have to say the reviews were right! My pedi was very relaxing and he did a great job! I also had a gel mani and Tomai did a very good job and I'm very picky about my nails!! They have a lot of colors to choose from and I love that they have the exact matching color for the toes!!! I NEVER get my nails done but I wanted to treat myself out as part of my masters graduation. This was in May 2017. I was with 2 other friends. Their nails came out fine but they did the regular. I did the shellac gel mani and regular nail pedi. I am pretty careless, so I wanted to make sure my nails stayed nice before graduation. After nails were done, i noticed a small part was already coming off. Another nail tech came over to "fix" it, which consisted of trimming the excess part. 2 days later, the shellac nails that I had paid extra for...already had a small chip on one nail. (I was so sad that they didn't even last until I walked for graduation!) By the end of the week, I had chips or peeling on several nails on both hands. Shellac nails only lasted me 2 weeks before I ended up just taking them off completely. My pedi that I paid LESS for, lasted me an entire 3 weeks before chipping and I'm a runner. My friends said it could have been the guy who did my nails. The mani and pedi guys were different. Regardless, it ruined my salon experience. read more

They do such an amazing job!! It's my first time going to this place but I showed the gentleman doing my nails a photo from Pinterest and he did exactly that! The lady next to me even got her nails painted the same as I did because she liked it so much. The gentleman doing my nails was so nice and took his time detailing my nails. I have had my acrylics for more than a week now and they look amazing!! So natural! It was $37 acrylics with gel! Such a great price!! Def coming back! read more

Tried this place out because of the great reviews, but I was not fond of this place. It's ok, if you don't care about getting your full service. I got a gel manicure and they didn't clean under my nails, which any place I've gone to does that. The massage was done only with oil, which they didn't even wipe off the excess. Normally places have done oil and lotion or just lotion then they run a warm towel to wipe off the excess oil left behind. On my left pinky there's a little bump on the gel underneath and the edge doesn't have polish on it. I went here during my lunch, kind of like an emergency and I will never do that again, I even paid more than I normally do for a half ass job. read more

Stumbled upon this salon when I needed an urgent birthday mani/pedi. The process may have taken long (I was with my friend), but they definitely took good care of us. Honestly, for the cleanliness of the facility and the quality of the service, prices don't get better than this. My only complaint would be that they don't offer magazines to read (nail salons are where I get my tabloid fix), BUT they do have a cute music video channel playing on their tv (I know they can't control what's played on the channel, but let me just say that it was on point the day I was there). The location may be a bit off-putting, but I say just give it a shot! It's definitely small and intimate, but I don't mind. My usual go to spots were all booked today so I decided to try this place out since I've had it bookmarked after seeing the positive reviews. Luckily, I was able to make an appointment for my sister and I the day of. When we arrived everyone was busy. The (probably) owner looked like he forgot about our appointment when he asked what we needed and that I wanted manicures with our pedis. On top of that, no one else was friendly or welcoming which I expect especially for being new to the shop. I asked how long the wait was because there was another woman sitting and waiting before us. He said that the two employees giving pedicures were almost done. MY PROBLEM IS, I've been getting mani pedis since high school so I know for a fact he was lying and they were going to be another 20 minutes or so. My sister and I needed somewhere to be which is why I specifically made an appointment instead of walking in. We definitely don't have all day to sit and wait. I use to try and give shops like this a second chance but nothing ever improves when I do. My time is more important than where my money goes. So I told him we had to leave. Also... the pictures make this place look a lot better than it does in person. It is for sure not as clean as I thought. The color options for regular nail polish was limited and I actually wasn't even offered the gel colors to look at when I told him we wanted gel. Unfortunately, I can't speak on the quality of their work and I don't intend to because I will not be coming back. If you want to be treated better in a nicer location that's still in the area with friendly employees that do quality work I suggest you go somewhere else. Worst pedicure I have ever had! The guy cut me twice, blood all over and I had to call it to his attention before he did something about it. Finally put some antiseptic since it kept bleeding, then had the gall to rub the nails including the cut toes with LEMON JUICE! I had to tell him to stop. Arghh! Was also extremely rough, dug his fingers into my leg when he went to lift them out of the soaking bowls, when just some simple pressure will do, I had to tell him not to be so rough and not grab my legs like that. Then came the salt scrub which turned my legs raw red because he was so rough again. I couldn't wait for it to be over and will definitely not go back. I have been to the nail salon several time for pedicures. The massaging spa chairs are comfortable and the massage is good. I've had a different person do my pedicure and each time it's been great. They automatically use hot stones and give a short leg massage. Polish color selection is on the small side but still have a lot to choose from. The salon is always clean and the pedicure chairs and tub are cleaned after each use. I had made appointments and also just walked in. I haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes, even in the weekends/ Price is great.....$20 if you pay cash. read more

I use to like coming to this nail shop until today. I came into get a hair cut and eyebrow wax. Now the odd thing is everytime I come I ask for a hair cut and the Male owner always says he is busy not today and mind you there no one ever waiting to get a cut at the times I come in. So i asked him what day are you not busy. He stated he can not cut black hair. I got up and headed towards the door. He had the nerve to ask me I still wanted my eyebrows arched. This review is for their customer service since I haven't had my nails done here yet. Yesterday I had an extremely painful pedicure that resulted in two red/purple toes from another salon. They were so infected and painful that I wanted to ask a professional what to do. Even though I didn't have my services done here, they were so sweet and kind to tell me how to treat it and when to go to the doctor. I will definitely be back to try their services! Tomai did a great job on my nails. The shellac French manicure still looks great after 3 weeks. Will be coming back again :)

Love this place, be clear about what you want and if you aren't happy with it they always fix it. Great prices and always so clean!!!
