All of the drag queens were great and the show was very interactive. There's no bad seats in the house. There even is a system to exchange large bills for small so that you can tip. My friends and I went to the Nightmare before Christmas show and it was so fun! We weren't really sure what to expect but it was a blast. The performers were great and brought so much energy. We stayed about 30 minutes after the show was over to finish drinks and just hang out. We ordered a couple of the drink specials which were very strong and not that good. Fries were decent. And if we do then I really hope someone points me to it lol Im a frequent goer of the arts in LA, but never have I had an experience going to a burlesque/live dinner show like I did at Fabrika I came here on a Saturday during MLK weekend to celebrate my friend's 29th birthday. Fabrika was awesome in accommodating all 30 of us. And when I accidentally left my wallet at the AirBnb they let me in as long as I was able to show them a picture or my id and/or passport. Really saved me the trip to have to go back to the house and grab my wallet when my entire party was at Fabrika and ready to be seated Food was decent nothing to write home about, but it was decent for what they offered, and the price was what you would've expected I really love this place. After my recent experience here at Fabrika I had to update my review as soon as possible, so here we are! While this wasn't a place I thought to revisit for a dining experience we decided to check out the evening show and I was absolutely jaw dropped! Why didn't I come to the actual show the first time instead of just having a dinner here...the highlight is THE SHOW, so now I understand all the 5 star reviews after two years of missing out by refusing to return! So we booked the 7:30 show a few days in advance. When we arrived, we ordered our drinks which were really tasty, and they had a decent selection of wines too. As my previous dining experience was meh, I wasn't excited about the food part, we shared the buffalo wings and the truffle potatoes while there were other food options but I kept it safe. The wings were surprisingly good but not enough. While the food is tapas styled the portions are small. But again, the food is not the highlight. The scene is beautiful, detailed, and extravagant. Overall the experience for drag brunch was pretty good. I never expect much from the food at a drag brunch, and certainly this was no exception. The shakshuka was pretty subpar- I wish it had a bit more flavor and that they used a different bread (maybe something toasted would have been better). The chicken and waffles were also just fine-met expectation. The shrimp roll was aesthetically pleasing and a nice portion. Overall, everything was super expensive with almost all dishes ~$19. The drinks were also super expensive with most cocktails/wines in the upper teens/lower twenty range for price. The table setup for the show itself wasn't ideal. Rows of tables that the queens had to walk up and down with limited movement and when they performed in the center stage, we couldn't see from our table all the way in the back. I did like the steampunk decor. The crowd itself was mostly women: bachelorette parties and birthdays for mid-20 something females. The queens were super nice and while their routines ran on the longer end, they did a nice job. What was a bit frustrating was the dollar bill situation. Typically, places have pre-made packs of 1 $ bills or at least have plenty available. Bachelorette party or GNO planning? Fabrika should ABSOLUTELY be on your list. Great cocktail selection, some of Philly's top talent in the burlesque and drag realm, location near Fishtown favorites, and truly gorgeous two story seating. The stage is on hydraulics and moves up and down which makes for interesting vantage points. We saw drag, fire, cabaret style singing, acro, and much more during the 1 hour show we took in. You can get dressed up and really do it up big, the bolder the better it seems. I will absolutely be adding this to my regular rotation of places I take girlfriends and can't wait until the next time I can return! Came for the show and not the food! After seeing all the terrible reviews on the food we decided to come on Saturday for drag brunch. They don't have food purchase requirements if you come during drag brunch. The four of us got seated in a nice spot close to the performance stadium on a Saturday coming in around 12:30pm. The place wasn't as crowded as I expected since many of the review had mentioned to come early since seating is first come first serve. I've never been to a drag show and didn't know what to expect. Part 1 started at 1PM and part 2 starts at 2PM and lasted about 30 minutes each so I would allocate 2 hours for your experience. It was definitely above my expectations. The performances ranges from singing, dancing, acrobatic... many different types of acts to enjoy! Some of it reminded me of circus shows. I don't think this place is ideal for a one on one date as the vibe is not romantic. It's more meant for larger groups celebrating birthdays, bachelorette, graduation, etc. Expect a lot of cheering and high energy! What a fun venue to celebrate a birthday! My husband and I decided to go to Fabrika's Thursday night Bordello Burlesque show. We made reservations for their 3-course dinner which consisted of 2 appetizers and an entree. We picked 6:30 for dinner as the show was supposed to begin at 7 p.m. After reading the Yelp reviews, however, we decided to arrive early and got a table right up front. I had the curry shrimp Caesar salad and loved the curry Caesar dressing and bits of cheese. My husband enjoyed his Greek salad as well. Our second appetizer was fried Parmesan arancini and fried Monchego cheese. Both were good. My branzino with mashed potatoes was also good but on the thin side. The glazed hanger steak could have had more to it too, but it was tasty. The price for dinner and the show was reasonable, and our server was attentive and checked in on us during the show without being too obtrusive. As for the show, it was excellent. I would have liked the second act to have been a little longer, but that didn't take away from a great night. The MC was funny, the dancers were beautiful and entertaining, and the featured singer was outstanding. We loved that the MC went around to all the tables to ask about their celebrations. Sensory titillation! Four girlfriends and I ventured to Fabrika Fishtown for a birthday celebration. We were seated upstairs which we thought would be challenging, but we had a great vantage point of the stage. We were directly outside the entertainers' dressing room, which meant that we got to see the costumes prior to the talent taking the stage. So cool! Cocktails were strong and our server ensured no one went thirsty. We had limited expectations for the food (given the Yelp reviews) but we did enjoy our selections. Some of the dishes looked better than they tasted, but we were there mainly for the show. The performances were stellar! Each person was more talented than the next. The talent does not try to sit in your lap or anything. This is tasteful, people! No one is nude, but there are suggestions of nudity, if that makes sense. I have always passed this place in Fishtown in the past. I had no clue what it was until I was looking up pride activities. The place had really cool performances. The performances ranged from drag artists, gymnastic artists, to daredevils for their cabaret act. The admission for the show is 75 bucks and there is a 50 dollar minimum on food and drinks. Usually seating is based on when group arrival is. The service was quick. To be honest though, their food was pretty terrible. The only 3 good dishes I had was the Zima because of the sauce, the Sage Popcorn Crème Brûlée (although I didn't taste the sage), and the Mango Panna Cotta (which was pretty fire). I surprised my girlfriend on our trip to Philly and the Burlesque Thursday experience was one of a kind. This was our first Burlesque show and it set the bar high. I booked the tickets about a week in advance for dinner and a show. I was about $60 each for three courses and the show. I honestly did not think the food would be anything special, but I was proven wrong. The Curry Shrimp Caesar Salad, Arancini, and Branzino were all cooked perfectly. You can tell that the dishes were prepared with care. My girlfriend had the Lamb Spring Rolls and really enjoyed them. She didn't love her Hanger Steak, but the asparagus was bursting with that awesome grilled flavor. I pretty much ate all of her asparagus. The vibe at Fabrika is grown and sexy for sure. There were a bunch of different groups and also a lot of couples, as well. This would be perfect for so many occasions. I loved how interactive all the performers were with the crowd. Out of the two cocktails I had I really enjoyed "utter clarity". It's like a milk punch if you're used to those. Most of the food was good however I did not enjoy the grilled octopus. I felt that it was rather tough and chewy. The ceviche was also not my favorite. I would recommend the empanadas, the Arancini, the buratta, and the steak small plate. Came here for a friend's birthday and we pre-paid for the meals. With mandatory gratuity it was $111 per person for a large party so the entire dinner was well over $1,000. Food took so long to come and when it did half of what we ordered did not come out. The waitress was nice and explained that it was a busy night for the kitchen which we understood, but when you pre pay that much money and get less than 50% of your food and when they do finally bring it out the show is over and the food is poor quality, it makes you regret what you spent. They also were not going to bring out the missing steaks until we asked and only attempted to compensate with some free shots which doesn't equate to what we paid at all. The damage control was sending us out those shots and it wasn't until we asked to speak with management and advocate for ourselves to get more taken off that they did, which was just comping our drinks. Although we appreciate that, it still didn't make up for how much you spend that isn't worth it. You definitely would expect much better for a place that pricey and advertised as that elegant. Sadly first time at Fabrika and we aren't inclined to want to return. Just be aware if you're considering going and spending that much money. read more

I had the "Amaro's A Day Away" Resurgent 104prf Bourbon, House Allspice Amaro, Amarena Cherry Simple, Aromatic Bitters. It was very good! They have a beer selection. Bottles and cans. No draft options. Limited wine list, and a bottle service option. I felt the drinks were a bit pricey, but considering the venue, I couldn't really argue about that. Entertainment: This the main reasons to be here. Overall the entertainment was good , at best. I was looking for more burlesque type dancers in addition to the "Cirque du Soleil" type acrobats and ballet dancers. Quite a few of the entertainers were very impressive.
