Went to see Cheers Murder Mystery show. The cast did a great job and it was very entertaining, about an hour and half. Our event was in a "basement"-ish room in the Curtis publishing building. For about $40 a ticket, it was a fun event for the girls. read more

I purchased Groupons for my family and I to attend the murder mystery in Olde City which is like a walking tour. I brought along my husband,, my 12 year old son and my friend. We had so much fun. My husband and friend guessed the right "killer", my son and I got it wrong. I think it took a little over an hour and we walked, listened to stories and scanned QR codes throughout. I've seen another one of their productions at Fisher's which we loved as well. They mentioned they will be hosting a "Friends" type murder mystery come October and I'm already looking forward to it. The acting was atrocious (wasn't expecting Oscar caliber, but geez), and the girls seemed like they knew nothing about the characters they were playing. The guy playing Elvis was funny, but he was so ridiculous it made it funny. The money I lost in the casino was more worthwhile than the money I paid for the ticket to this. I purchased tickets for the Murder at the Perk show. Un expectingly I had surgery a few days before and was unable to attend. I reached out to see if I was able to get a refund. I thought maybe certain circumstances they would understand. They would not issue refund and gave me one other show I could change my tickets for. It was for a show we were not interested in seeing. I had so much fun participating in their virtual Zoom style production tonight, I was looking forward to it all day, and I gotta say it was 100X way more fun and silly that I expected even for being over Zoom. A group of 10 of us were in AC and I saw the Murder at The Perk was happening. I figured it was a great price point for the group and knew there were lots of FRIENDS lovers, so we got tickets. We were all SO disappointed!!!!! There were some "funny" and "good" parts, but it was not very interactive at all, and I hate to say it, but I have honestly seen better performances and shows put on by High School drama clubs. I felt terrible after the show that I suggested seeing this and my friends had to pay for it!! I don't know if other shows they do are better, but unfortunately I would not recommend the Murder at The Perk show! :( read more

Saw the Golden Girls mystery show in Philadelphia. This borders on awful. The venue had a big pole in the center of the room which made it difficult to follow the characters. The story line was lame and predictable. It was less than 2 hours with 2 breaks in the show. Would not waste my money again. I have been to murder mystery shows that actually were funny, intriguing, with audience participation. it was more of a sing along to "Thank you for being a friend". We did the virtual murder mystery in New Orleans, which takes you all over the place finding clues. It did a good job in helping us wander around. But we spent a fair bit of time annoyed with the system. At least one "clue" is based off a long gone placard, which has been replaced with something that does not contain any information about the clue. Luckily, there is a "missing placard" button that, if you think to click it, will show you what you are supposed to see. You just need to use that right away instead of when you have lost all hope and ambition. The second issue is that you need to click on their map links and not paste the addresses into google. Their map links go to the right spot (I think. We did not get to the right spot because our mapping person kept pasting the addresses in and Google took us to the wee corners of New Orleans... But, you do not need to hear our weeping story.) Just know to click on the map locations and do not paste... We also agree with the many complaints that the UI is a mess. It keeps popping up windows asking for passwords (which mean "clues"), and you do not know which one you need to enter. In those cases, press "back" to figure out what the last one it is thinking about, and then go forward from there. Do keep good notes about what the old passwords were, as you will need them over and over. It did do what we wanted it to do, it gave us good reason for wandering around, and we saw a lot of stuff we would not have had the ambition to see. So kudos for that. But, be prepared for a little frustration here and there. read more

We have seen their productions several times around us in Maryland and Delaware. we had them come down and do a private dinner party for a birthday. it was great. Everyone had a blast and the actors were fantastic. Sorry i do not remember their names, but i think 1 was Dave. We knew him from all the shows we have seen down this way, dove valley and the candlelight. Tons of fun. Hope to be able to do it again. read more

My family/friends and I went to the Golden Girls Murder Mystery show at Craft Hall on Sat. 4/2. First of all, you could barely hear any of the actors (except the man who played Dorothy). The acoustics were horrific and the headsets that were being used were completely useless. The food that was served was an absolute disgrace. It was completely unappetizing (appetizer and dessert served in a cup that was about 1 inch high and 1 inch in diameter and a half "chicken salad" sandwich served on stale white bread. The drinks were disgusting as well. The wait staff took away 90% of the food and drinks from all the tables because they were not edible... The characters costumes were a disgrace. We had a table of 9 people so we spent almost $600 for nothing... you could not call what was served "dinner".... and again one could not hear a thing for the entire hour and a half. Several people left after only 15-20 mins. due to the poor quality. I cannot believe that your company feels this type of deception and absolute misrepresentation of this event is acceptable. The amount of money that was charged for "dinner and a show" was highway robbery. I am completely disappointed....as was the rest of our party in this "production." I hope you do not continue to steal peoples' hard earned money for this type of event. read more

I went to a murder mystery dinner at Fisher's Tudor House which Without a Cue put on. Yes, the show was super cheesy but all murder mystery dinner theaters are. The acting is corny, but that makes it more fun. The script isn't even worthy of a bad soap opera but that's to be expected. I booked 6 tickets for my family as just a fun night out, dinner and a show. I specifically instructed them not to eat before because we would be having DINNER. When our dinner came to the table I thought they were kidding. I have served more food to my grandchildren for lunch. Where do you come off calling what you served as a dinner? I was embarrassed and angry especially when I knew that everyone was hungry and good food was just feet away in the bar next door. After spending over 350.00 on tickets I was furious that you misrepresented your DINNER theater. If you said snacks were to be served it would have been different. I was also surprised to see how little pride there was in some of the actors and how they presented the characters and their costumes. Dorothy looked like she had taken her costume out of a lunch bag before she put it on. It was so wrinkled and she was so disheveled looking like she really didn't care. It was a very disappointing evening and I intend to tell everyone I know and to publicise on all possible venues what happened to my family to prevent others from being taken over by your misrepresentation of your dinner theater. read more

My husband and I saw Assassination Idol murder mystery dinner by Without a Cue last weekend. It was so awful that I would not recommend it to anyone. The actors were not funny, costumes barely existed, and the flow was very slow. The plot of the show was awful and several audience members were yawning. The actors gave one clue to the murder mystery within the first 5 minutes of the dinner. Everyone at our table picked up on this clue but felt it was too obvious. At the end of the show we were told this clue was the killer. Only 3 audience members out of 50 people were able to pick out the killer at the end of the night. Everyone else had no idea who the killer was. The only positives of the night were that we met some nice people at our table and the food at the restaurant was decent. Other than that, pick a different show! read more

I had taken my mother on 05/11/19 as a surprise for Mother's Day to the Golden Girls Murder Mystery Dinner In Peddler's Village starring Without A Cue Productions. We had the absolute best time!!! The actors were hilarious and bouncing off audience members so easily and were very quick on their feet! This was my first ever murder mystery so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but they were so engaging and really wanted you to get involved. It was just great! We can't wait for their next show at Peddler's Village. I can't say enough wonderful things about them!! read more

We saw them at Fisher Tudor House for Valentines Day, so the review is a combination of the setting and the company. The specific show was "Murder at the Moulin." The food was mediocre, the service was also mediocre, the writing wasn't very good but two of the six actors were very entertaining. The audience laughed all night especially with Sophia's ad-lib comments. Had a wonderful time at the clubhouse watching a production from "Without a Cue". Congratulations to the "Dead Men Don't Speak Easy". This was a very suspenseful and an exciting evening. The audience was captured by your professionalism and tremendous acting skills. Our residents spent hours planning how they were going to dress for this show from flappers to gangsters. A night at the Murder Mystery Show provides a thought-provoking entertainment to enjoy with neighbors and friends. It is certainly worth the price of admission! We love interacting with the cast members and trying to solve the mystery. They keep the audiences attention and are funny and enticing. We just love attending. I wanted to take my daughter to a murder mystery dinner for her birthday. However, she is only 13 and most places require you to be at least 18 years of age. So, I set out to find a place that could bring the party to us. I scoured several websites and came across Without a Cue Productions. I was able to select my party theme and make all the arrangements online. As someone who doesn't enjoy making phone call after phone call, I like the ease of communicating via email. A few days before the event, we talked on the phone to finalize the details (flow of the evening, number of guests, etc.). So, ease of set-up was a plus. The actors (Josh and Rachel) arrived on time (about an hour before the event). We reviewed the schedule and then it was show time. So, I thought we hit a snag when we agreed dinner would be served at 6:45 but at 5:45 they looked to me to serve. I was panicked. However, the actors were cool as cucumbers and began to take the girls through several games including Charades while we finished dinner. The next thing I know they were belting show tunes. Fast forward to the end of the night. The kids had a ball. We picked the Big American Star with stars such as Serena Gomez and Dustin Berber. If you've ever been to a murder mystery dinner they are a big cheesy - it's either something you love or you hate! We love it! Many of the girls said it was the best party ever. Only one girl had the correct answer, but they all had fun. We had about 12 girls but I think the event would work well with up to 20. It was a bit expensive when compared to kid's parties but well worth it. All in all the event lasted about 3 hours. I would highly recommend them for private parties. read more

I just took my girlfriend to see without a cue's fatal reunion murder mystery dinner at the cock n' bull restaurant in peddler's village for our anniversary. I have to say, after reading all of the negative reviews about some other murder mystery dinners in the tri-state area, I wasn't sure what to expect. But it was a great show. Highly entertaining and very funny. The cast was great and they kept you engaged the whole time. The food was really good as well (though I guess that's more a review for the restaurant than the show itself). I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining evening doing something out of the ordinary. read more

Wow, Where do I start? My husband and I have seen two shows { this year} and simply loved both of them! We just saw our last one this past Saturday night and I am still talking about. I cant remember the last time I laughed so hard {I actually needed to use my inhaler...lol} Both were different cast members and equally as talented. I so enjoy the energy they give off, the way they get all who want to be involved, involved, and the story lines are so great and appealing to everyone. I cant say enough nice things about the cast members I have met, they take the time after the shows to meet and talk to you and thank you for coming. In return, I cant wait to thank them for the two hours of laughing, entertainment and for the relaxation of enjoying myself and forgetting about "lifes stresses" My husband and I don't get many "date nights" we have had two this year, and both times consisted of Without a Cue! I have written to a few of them on facebook and they remember who I am as well. I grew up doing local theater and singing, and these members truly are dedicated to their God given talents, and to entertaining us, and making us laugh. It feels good to be able to write such a positive review and post a personal picture of me and "Elvis" on their facebook page...As I am writing this, I cant help but smile.....I simply enjoy what you do and I thank all of you for bringing laughter to my life and I can guarantee I am not the only one...Ive been in rooms with about 100 people each show who were laughing just as loud as we were.
