I went online and made reservations, you can use debit or credit. I received a response shortly after submitting the booking request. The staff sends you reminders once you book, the closer you get to your reservation window. COVID-19 precautions are practiced here. All of the equipment is sterilized, after use. So its clean when it's your turn to put the gear on. Since the VR goggles are worn on your face, you are given a disposable mask to put on that sits between your VR goggles and your face. The goggles never touch your face. There are several choices of games to pick from. Ranging from Easy to Hard. My wife and I had never played VR type games before. Our fun here was worth the price of admission! I suggest getting here a few minutes before your scheduled time. The staff has to set you up and get you positioned. In a mainstream theatrical landscape filled with jukebox musicals, revivals, and an overwhelming lack of originality, I can't tell you how meaningful it is that PTC consistently uplifts new voices in the medium. New theatre is alive and well in Philadelphia! The show and storytelling were not dramaturgically perfect, but as an audience member and artist, perfection for me always lays in the pursuit. The cast of artists PTC consistently assembles is top notch, and I can't wait to get out and see more of their season offerings. Thank you for bringing eclectic storytelling to our great city! If you're visiting or a local and PCT has something on you're even remotely interested in, get out there and support locally crafted theatre in a stunning and iconic venue.

I especially love the Yelp Elite perk of being invited on opening night. This evening marked two firsts for me. In the past this was a Yelp Elite Event for squad members only. This time we were invited individually and allowed a plus one. And much to my surprise my guest and I got front row seats. They usually have a nice little cocktail hour after the show that mostly consists of beer, wine, crudites and cheese boards. I was impressed to find some serious hor d'oeuvres this time around. Macaroni and cheese balls, chicken sliders, skewered beef tenderloin. All it was delicious. Wonderful experience.

There are crafters, vendors, food, and definitely plenty of drinks. The cornerstone of this event in my opinion is the costume contest. People go all out for this and it's really a sight to see! Every year it seems to attract more and more visitors. For this reason, I hope they get better at accommodating more visitors as it took an inordinate amount of time this year to get a drink. But it is still a blast and shouldn't be missed by the Halloween enthusiasts in the greater Philadelphia area!

If you're on a date, you'll probably want to make a reservation at the spooky Robin's Nest Restaurant at the opening of the outdoor festival, before meandering through the creepy, dark streets brimming with interesting characters. If you're on a friend date, you may want to avoid the intimate restaurant and head straight to the beer garden, the creepy teddy bear shop, or the ghost hunter store. Or, of course, the VooDoo Bar. Like the others have said, do NOT bring your kids here. You're ruining it for everyone when you do that crap. Two downfalls (aside from the kid infestation) of the event: -Lack of bathrooms -Lack of food vendors I stood in a line for some beautiful porta potties for what felt like a really-really long time. The guy behind me in line kept drunkenly yelling at the people in the stalls... as if they really wanted to take their time and enjoy themselves in there or something. After finally relieving myself, I then spent an absurd amount of time waiting for some chicken tenders. Get some more food vendors and bathroom options, Witches Ball, and you're golden. Teaching at South Jersey Ballet School for the past several years under the direction of Andrea…read moreDuffin has been an absolute honor and a privilege. Andrea has dedicated her entire life to ballet, but better yet she has dedicated herself to teaching children the very best practices. As Andrea's rehearsal assistant, I work with her very closely. I am constantly blown away by her knowledge of the body, the history of dance, her creative choreography, and her positive rapport with children. I have been a ballerina my whole life and have stepped foot in many other local studios over the years. Nothing I've seen elsewhere compares to the caliber of training the dancers at SJBS recieve. Her dancers not only shine onstage, but they reach a level of professionalism that is truly so rare for a local ballet school. The training at SJBS is on par with big name professional schools all over the country--I am saying this as someone who spent many years training at those professional schools. I feel lucky to teach dancers of all ages at SJBS. Aside from the wonderful training Andrea gives, I must mention the size of the beautiful studios in this school. Again, it is rare to see a local school with the quality of the marley floors SJBS offers, as well as the giant rehearsal spaces. SJBS is a special place. It is a school where I wish I received my training as a child.

Turns out he didn't and then sent me to another man who told me that he would fight so that I would not get my money back. They are lucky I didn't knock everything over before leaving the tent.
