The acts were not funny at all. it was definitely not worth the $15 per ticket. Would not go again.

Abysmally terrible. We paid $5 - and felt we overpaid. It's BYOB but there was no corkscrew or glasses/cups. And acts were terrible

The staff who seats you is always friendly and does a great job of getting everyone in. Typically the shows start right on time. I'm always a bit turned off my the two drink minimum if it's a night I'm not drinking, but they count waters towards your two drinks and are not very strict on the rule. The service for getting your drink is a bit slow, but it's a weird set up in there and they are trying not to be distracting, so there's prob a science to it all. Seating is good wherever you're at and the venue is clean and well kept.

I didn't have to wait in a long line and the bathrooms were also easily accessible. I was seated in a timely manner with a good view of the stage. My server was very pleasant and took my order with ease. I got a lemonade, stirred at the bar, and veggie nachos. Everything was great! The three comediennes who opened up for Winston Hodges were pretty funny. Winston was also a hoot! I had a great time and would love to come see another show the next time I'm visiting again.

The theater itself is somewhat…read moresizeable but not like Academy of Music or other big venue playhouses in Philly, and I liked the vibe of historic character and a size that once housed a much greater portion of the city's theater crowd than it does proportionately today. Old balconies and the upper mezz tier were full of charm as they keep the theater updated while retaining Victorian-meets-Deco motifs. The view from Orchestra left, row J, far outside aisle seats was beyond expectations. I was wary of being on the outer aisle but visibility was absolutely perfect! There was also an actual live orchestra playing every score from a pit under the stage. A couple of things were drawbacks. One, I understand that the production company is a separate entity from the theater so when our performance was delayed due to "technical difficulties" it could be a cast issue or an actual issue with the house. If the latter, then shame on WST for not having their sh!t together to be ready for the show. I have a gut feeling that a cast member missed a train and was late. Why? I've been to a lot of theater and when they wait until TEN MINUTES past showtime to disclose a "technical issue" it's usually a late cast member or last-minute need for an understudy. In this case, not only was the announcement past curtain, but after the 40min delay, there were zero technical issues throughout the performance and usually technical issues don't completely resolve if they took that long to rectify in the first place. That said, regardless of whose issue was delaying showtime, the house ought to have been on top of hospitality for their patrons and ought to have announced this delay 10 min PRIOR to showtime rather than after. Not only that, but when finally announced, they had had us packed in like sardines in the very small lobby and everyone was hot, miserable, and coughing on one another. Inexcusable. The fact that most of the patrons were Baby Boomers using senior decline as an excuse to behave narcissistically abusively (a trait they've championed their whole lives) made the situation unbearable. So while so many other elements were 10 stars, THIS knocks a TON off my average. Another negative, I'm all about supporting the arts and concessions help keep this theater afloat. But an airplane snack bag of pretzels for $4, and single whiskey (44-50ml, probably 44ml) for $17 is not even affordable to me! Sheesh! A half pint (200ml) of Maker's is $9.99 and 375ml is $15.50! I enjoy max 1-2 drinks about 2-5 times per YEAR, so I am not UTD on bar rates but Google says a half-pour at a bar on average is $5-$12, and I was actually expecting $10-$12 but wow, not 850% markup! Worse, no prices are posted for anything so they waste time lining people up when half of them either forfeit a ridiculous sum for the cheapest one little thing out of guilt, or walk away insulted like I did. Many positives with the structure and character of the old theater, and great views and sound, including authentic orchestra pit, but mismanaging delays, and bilking for concessions made the experience disappointing in ways it doesn't need to be. Hit Wawa across the street for snacks and hide a flask in your bag if you want a drink.

Derek completely changed the start of our day. He was such a kind soul, incredibly friendly, brought us chairs, checked on us, and genuinely cared that we were comfortable and were going to have a great experience. That kind of positive attitude at 6 AM says a lot about a person. Derek made us feel taken care of before the concert experience had even really begun. He is exactly the kind of manager you want representing your venue and setting the example for his team. Such a great way to start what ended up being an amazing concert experience.

It's been a long time since I've been to a concert, and what I experienced at Tash Sultana's show was unlike anything I've ever witnessed before. Drums. Guitar. Saxophone. Flute. Bells and sooo much more. Vocals that soared from whispers to powerful crescendos. Every instrument seemed like an extension of Tash, and every note felt intentional. People often say music is healing, music is therapy, music is universal. Last night, I felt that. Not just heard it--felt it. The audience wasn't there just to watch a performance. We were there to witness artistry. To share a moment of connection through rhythm, sound, and frequency. For a few hours, strangers were a community united by music/frequency. The team at the Fillmore made the experience even better. From security and "Jay" at coat/merch check, "Meghan" Guest Services, "Bob" food & beverage service (Card Only). I enjoyed my "Vegan" Burger and the refreshing Wildberry beverage in a commemorative Filmore cup. Thank you for the recommendation, Blithe. "Steve" provided kind seating assistance upstairs. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and helpful. Those small acts of kindness matter and should be acknowledged and are very much appreciated. And to Tash--thank you. Thank you for sharing your gifts so generously. Thank you for creating a space where people could simply be present, breathe, feel, and reconnect with themselves. I've traveled through a lot in life, but last night reminded me why "live music matters". Some concerts entertain you. Some concerts remind you who you are. Somewhere along the way, my son and I became known as "the cake people." If you know, you know. If you haven't experienced Tash Sultana yet, do yourself a favor: Tune in. Thank you again Filmore for hosting this memorable experience.

Our server was not super friendly but things came out quickly and I enjoyed the trivia. The inside is crowded but has lots of tables both upstairs and downstairs (trivia is only upstairs). It has a pretty typical pub vibe and the menu has the same vibe. I got the grilled cheese, which has tater tots inside. It was quite tasty and the fries on the side were very good as well. It is certainly nothing special, but for pub food and trivia I had a great time!
