In a mainstream theatrical landscape filled with jukebox musicals, revivals, and an overwhelming lack of originality, I can't tell you how meaningful it is that PTC consistently uplifts new voices in the medium. New theatre is alive and well in Philadelphia! The show and storytelling were not dramaturgically perfect, but as an audience member and artist, perfection for me always lays in the pursuit. The cast of artists PTC consistently assembles is top notch, and I can't wait to get out and see more of their season offerings. Thank you for bringing eclectic storytelling to our great city! If you're visiting or a local and PCT has something on you're even remotely interested in, get out there and support locally crafted theatre in a stunning and iconic venue.

I especially love the Yelp Elite perk of being invited on opening night. This evening marked two firsts for me. In the past this was a Yelp Elite Event for squad members only. This time we were invited individually and allowed a plus one. And much to my surprise my guest and I got front row seats. They usually have a nice little cocktail hour after the show that mostly consists of beer, wine, crudites and cheese boards. I was impressed to find some serious hor d'oeuvres this time around. Macaroni and cheese balls, chicken sliders, skewered beef tenderloin. All it was delicious. Wonderful experience.

You can actually settle in without fidgeting the whole show. The lobby is tiny though, so getting in and out feels a little chaotic, especially during the holidays. It gives slight fire-hazard energy, but I get it. Popular show, peak season, everyone trying to squeeze in at once. Inside, everything is dressed up for the holidays with cute, festive decor. Staff was super friendly. Tickets were scanned fast and they were really attentive, especially helping older guests find their seats. Bathrooms are one floor down. I overheard someone with a cane trying to figure out ADA options, so accessibility could be easier to navigate. Restrooms were stocked but could use more frequent cleaning, which is pretty normal for a packed show. Overall, solid experience. Expect crowds and lots of foot traffic, but the vibe and performances make it worth it. Excited to come back for the Sherlock Holmes show.

Even after the performance, people were hanging around just to look at the theater and take it all in. Staff eventually had to usher people out because no one wanted to leave. I arrived a little late because I went to the wrong venue, and the staff was incredibly kind and calm about it. They walked me to my seat between sets and made it totally stress free. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. The place is clean and very well maintained. One thing to watch out for is seat selection. In the balcony, some seats have a pole partially blocking the view of the stage, which is frustrating if you do not realize it ahead of time. Definitely double check before buying. I loved the live subtitles for the opera. Such a thoughtful touch and makes the whole experience much more accessible. The chandeliers are gorgeous, the atmosphere feels grand but not stuffy, and the whole night felt special. Fully worth the money and I would absolutely come back.

It was a delight to see that so many local women were involved and their stories are reflected in this play today. I am happy to get the Playbill souvenir and a SUFFS pin. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE. I'm very grateful to the sweet people working here. From the theater, attendants, concession snack stand, security, box office, merchandise, and the restrooms too. My chocolate chip cookie was yummy. Everybody's very kind and hard-working. It was an absolutely wonderful time in this beautiful theater. It was my first time to be in the theater and it's very beautiful. The set design was quite exciting. The seats were very comfortable. And I'm very glad that there was parking in a garage very close to this theater!
