We were sat literally in the middle of a sectioned off birthday party, it was only after getting our food that we realized hey this is someone's CELEBRATION and everyone in the party is wondering who the heck we are. The server tried to DOUBLE the cost of an item. Burnt end are on the bar bites menu as $7. She charged $13 when we asked her about it, her response was "yeah, we haven't updated the menus." Then said "that's my bad I should have said something".... "Ok? Can you honor the price of the item that we ordered?" I swear, 30 seconds of her staring at me with no acknowledgement before she said "fine". At the end, she still charged us $9 for it because "it wasn't happy hour" even WHEN THAT IS NOT WHAT THE MENU SAYS???? so weird, so grimey, please someone teach these folks customer relations and service!!!

It's a mixture of a restaurant and a dive bar. Although this establishment isn't new to Brewerytown it was new to me. My friend suggested that we go here on a frigid night and I agreed. The signage outside said it was Taco Tuesday and I got excited. The tacos were $3 a piece. I order 4 fish tacos and my friend had the short rib tacos. The fish tacos were solid and my friend raved about the short rib tacos. The waitress was very attentive considering she was handling all of tree tables. My only gripe was the music was a little too loud. Other than that the food, drink and cocktail menu options were solid. I'll definitely be back for another Taco Tuesday.

One night recently, my husband brought me here begrudgingly. I say that because of "brew" being in the name and I don't like going to places where beer is the main focus. Then when we walked in and sat down (no hostess stand), the server seemed put out that we sat at a 4 top (since only 2 of us). She stated if a larger group came in she would have to move us to a smaller table but that we could sit there for now. Uh ooookay, that didn't give me the warm and fuzzies. We went ahead and moved to a smaller table we hadn't seen initially and avoid being moved. But things looked up from there. My husband ordered a bottle of wine (half off on Wed) and I ordered a really yummy hibiscus cocktail. We split the fried green tomatoes (stuffed with goat cheese), roasted garlic cauliflower, and shrimp and grits. I also redeemed a yelp check in offer for a free glass of champagne with app purchase. We loved the apps and were mixed on the grits. Flavors were good but the grits were very runny/thin. I was confused at first but the provided spoons were very necessary. That said, I would still order again. I checked out the brunch menu which looked good too. The $5 brunch drinks are a draw from me too! Total bill for dinner was approximately $70 which $30 off that was a bottle of wine and cocktail. I'm glad my husband took me here....I'm looking forward to returning!

I was born and raised in Philly and moved away 15 years ago. This was one of my return trips and wanted to take in the sights and see how things have changed. This was a pleasant surprise. The location is very convenient and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff was very pleasant and personable. We started with the tacos and margaritas which were very good. I met some very friendly people at the bar and it was a very diverse crowd which I really enjoyed. If you are ever in the area you must stop in for a drink and a quick bite. If you like drinks with a little spice I highly recommend the Sauls Inferno. OMG this was the best tasting margarita that I've ever had. I was speaking with the owner Mino and she explained the process they go through with every specialty drink and food item. Mino really cares about what they serve and it really comes through. I will definitely be returning.

So my daughter and her boyfriend are googah over this establishment and guess what? So am I. They introduced me to it and now I can't wait to return. First we started with the addicting truffle fries , with Parmesan cheese. I then ordered the eggplant rollatini w a side of linguini. How can just simple linguini taste that good? Musta been because it was al dente? I don't know. The eggplant was all cheesy and magnificent. My daughter had a pear flatbread, which was tasty because I love sweet and savory. Her boyfriend ad short rib tacos. I might try making this. But the real star are the drinks. The drunk I wanted was sold out but the bartender ( more on him in a minute) made me something similar that he concocted. So so good. Some kind of sweet rum drink, that had a name that had to do with a daily. Haha! My next drink was a totally refreshing Mojito, which was well needed in the Philly humidity. The drinks are expensive but the food is way inexpensive. Both are so delicious. Now on to the bartender. This man is a total joy. He LOVES his job -his career choice-and it shows in all he does. Most of us HAVE to work. And if we are blessed to make money doing what we enjoy, WIN!!! Now I've never seen a two handed cocktail shaker action happen. And just watching him dip while squeezing lemons and limes was so so entertaining. ( He had a massive manual juicer.)My daughter and her boyfriend sing this man's praises and he so deserves it. The decor is nice and inviting and draws a person in. It's in a gentrified area,so it's very interesting. I will return!!!

2637brew is a cozy little pub right in the heart of Brewery Town with a diverse menu and large craft beer selection. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot and overall, we enjoyed our food. For dinner, we decided to get the Thai Noodles and the burger. My Thai noodle dish overall was pretty lackluster; the noodles were pretty tasty; they had a nice, flavorful kick and citrusy finish. However, I was pretty disappointed in the chicken; it was absolutely BLAND (I'm talking ZERO seasoning whatsoever). The $4 up-charge wasn't justified. On the other hand, my boyfriend throughly enjoyed the burger and said they are very generous with the portion of bacon. I think next time I come here, I'll just stick with regular bar food.

My status as "regular" here soon come! 2637 is the cutest little bar nestled between 26th & 27th on Girard in Brewerytown. I went for the first time last night around 9pm & it was PACKED. We stood at the bar for a bit combing threw their tap list while waiting for a seat to open up. Let me tell you, the ladies here are on top of evvvverything. You don't have to worry about fighting for a seat when one opens up at the bar because they have a system of keeping track of whos next to be seated. Loved that. I wish I got a pic of the food menu as it's not your typical pub fare. My friend & I shared the fried calamari, eggplant rollatini & prosciutto flat bread. All of it was amazing!

A must in Brewerytown!! This is my favorite local place to eat (every meal) I can not rave any more about how kind each and every employee is and how DELISH the food is. The beer and drink options on the menu are extensive and the food that is served is not a typical local joint place - there is a lot of thought that goes into the dishes. My favorite ones are: calamari / cauliflower / steak frites / there was an ostrich burger which was great / steak and eggs The bartenders are very talented and like to strike up a convo if it's not too busy - I always sit at the bar. I was looking for a place to call "mine" in my neighborhood and this has become it - so much so that the owner knows me by name. Who wouldn't want to walk into a place and be welcomed with open arms and smiles?

2637 brew has become one of my favorite go to restaurants in Philly. Not only is the menu and food wonderful, but the staff and service is top notch!! The staff is super flexible and more than willing to accommodate to any dietary restrictions you have. Also, the beers on draft are always rotating and always a great selection of different styles. I almost forgot to mention how amazing their bloody Mary's and Vietnamese coffee are on weekends!! You gotta come to Brewerytown to try 2637 brew!!!

I sent an email with questions about our reservation and never received a response. The online booking portal doesn't provide much detail, and while the website has a "Call" option, it wasn't very useful. I received multiple automated reminder emails stressing that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early because race times wouldn't be extended for late arrivals, which is completely understandable. I just wish there had been the same level of attention when it came to responding to customer questions. Once we arrived, the experience was much better. They gave our group a private seating area, which was a nice surprise. Our server was friendly, checked on us periodically, and never pressured us to order food. We chose to have drinks only, and it was nice to relax before and after racing. The simulators were a lot of fun, and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. The only thing to know is that the races move quickly--you only have about two minutes between sessions to switch drivers, so there's not much time to explore the venue or step away without paying attention to when you're up next. Overall, it was a fun and unique way to celebrate a birthday. We'd definitely come back, although probably as a special once-a-year outing because of the cost. If F1 Arcade improved its communication before events, this easily could have been a five-star experience.

Fun experience, but definitely on the pricey side for the amount of actual racing you get…read more F1 Arcade is a pretty cool F1 racing simulation where you get to drive an F1-style race car on various real F1 tracks. The simulators do a good job of making you feel like you're actually racing--the seat moves and rumbles as you go around the track, accelerate, brake, and presumably make questionable racing decisions. One warning: if you get motion sickness easily, this might not be the activity for you. Between the moving seat and the racing visuals, your brain may start wondering why your body is sitting still while your car is doing 200 mph. The place itself is huge, with 40+ simulators. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised by how empty it was. They also have a bar and serve food, but we were there strictly for the racing. We had a party of 4, so we did the team racing option and were given two simulators. Each of us got three races, and the system paired us up differently for each race, so everyone got a chance to race against everyone else. That part was actually pretty fun and made it feel more competitive. The downside is that the races are REALLY short--about 3 minutes each. So for roughly $30 per person, we each got only about 10 minutes of actual racing time across the three races. Once you factor in getting everyone set up and waiting between races, our entire visit was under an hour. The staff was friendly and did a good job explaining how the simulators work and how to check when your next race was starting, so the whole process was pretty easy. Overall, this was a fun experience, especially if you're an F1 fan or enjoy racing games. The simulators are definitely more immersive than playing a racing game at home. That said, the price is hard to overlook considering how little actual driving time you get. We had a good time, but at around $30 per person for about 10 minutes of racing, this is probably a "do it once for the experience" kind of activity rather than something we'd do regularly.
