I LOVE Textile Mill End Shop! I come here for ALL my fabrics. The "warehouse" part is way less…read moreexpensive than places like JoAnn's Fabrics, with way nicer fabrics. There are designer fabrics that are on sale for a big discount, which I really like. They have a nice outdoor fabric section, and up front there are $1/yard fabrics. I also got some really nice designer pillowcases for $5/set. The "Showroom" side has upholstery and designer fabrics and wallpapers in books and on the wall. They have pretty much every big designer name in there and it seems like they can do any type of window treatment or upholstery. They also have Hunter Douglas, with a ton of samples, which was really helpful to see in-person. Everyone who worked here was SO friendly to me. They really helped me find what I was looking for, and advised me on whether that fabric was right for that application, etc. I love this place and recommend it to all my friends!

Recently we noticed that the cushions on two chairs that they restored decades ago were not holding up. We took them in and, a week later had cushions stuffed with new feathers that exactly match the colors of the rest of the chairs. Also one of the chairs had a bolt sticking out more than an inch. As part of the deal, Mike, the owner, visited our house and snipped the metal part off. When we need something done to our furniture, we don't have to make tough choices.

I had a wonderful experience with Arlene at ABCO Art. I brought in an older St. John's University…read morediploma plaque that had become damaged around the edges, expecting that I would probably need to spend quite a bit to have it repaired or reframed. Arlene could not have been nicer or more helpful. She carefully looked at the diploma, explained my options, and rather than simply trying to sell me an expensive framing job, she actually called St. John's University to find out whether I could obtain a replacement diploma. She then suggested a much less expensive framing option that would solve the problem beautifully. I was particularly impressed by her honesty. She could easily have sold me the more expensive option, but instead took the time to find a solution that would save me a considerable amount of money. That kind of personal service is increasingly rare. Arlene was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the best solution rather than the most expensive one. I would absolutely recommend ABCO Art and will go back to them for any framing needs I have in the future.
