When it was time to pay, I wanted to check the price of a Christmas item, so I approached the cashier rather than using self-checkout. The female employee at the front desk seemed annoyed by my question and said, "Just scan it at the self-checkout." I replied, "But I'm not sure if I want it." She then said, "Okay, scan it and I'll erase it." I did as she asked, then requested that she delete it since I didn't want it. She then told me to just move over to another checkout. She sighed and walked away from the register to the self-checkout to delete the item I scanned. She seemed so bothered by my question. The male employees who greeted and helped me get 5 stars. The selection is not great, but adequate. The plastic models go on 40% off sales a few times a year and the model rockets & supplies are usually discounted 30% off MSRP. I wait for the annual clearance sale, when they knock off as much as 75% from the already discounted prices. There are also items in the clearance area with prices slashed as much as 90%. Those are usually junky, returned merchandise or damaged goods, but if you have the time to browse through there, you might come up with some gems on occasion.
