Valerie is an EXCELLENT teacher-- fun, engaging, and most importantly, flexible. All three of us were at different levels and she was able to gauge our abilities and figure out common things she could teach all three of us while allowing us to pursue our own projects. It was easy to book a lesson and she was very responsive. Not only were the lessons great, the store is beautiful! There is a huge selection of yarns and even better, lots of samples to inspire. The shop is well-lit, comfortable, and roomy. I am already looking forward to our next lesson!

I found an awesome pattern, but the yarn they called for I could only find online, and when I'm making something I like to feel the yarn to make sure it's the texture/softness I'm looking for. When I came into the store I explained my conundrum to the woman who was working there, not knowing what to expect since I was asking about a product they don't carry. Instead of turning me away, she asked the yarn name, pulled up an app on her phone, advised me of its basic details (yards, gauge, etc) and then went on to advise of all the equivalent options I could pick up that would be almost identical.
