The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and if they don't have your size in the store, they can order it and have it shipped to you. Win-win! The store only stocks regular size. Tall and short must be ordered and they will ship to you. However, many things online are out of stock. Basic black leggings are out of stock in many petite sizes. Quality is ok. I would never join. Not really worth it since my size is never in stock. read more

I headed to the storefront recently to return a few items. When we entered the store, one of the store associates greeted us and while I am not expecting a loud hello and confetti at the entrance, you could barely hear her and she was just standing there leaned against one of the shelves. I just walked over to the counter and the girl who was talking care of the returns however was friendlier and quick about the process. While I was there another customer came in and she was dealt with fairly quickly but the customer service towards her was poor! The woman unfortunately walked out of there annoyed. She was provided with some generic statements and no effort to help her find what she needed. read more

My rating for this store is 4/5, but I feel the need to add the extra star to offset the reviews that are here to post their grievance about the WEBSITE, not the STORE. TL;DR : Fabletics as a brand has great quality products, but it has a poor loyalty subscription program that can come off shady and puts pressure on the customer to shop. However, the Columbia store itself is really nice and organized with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. --- FABLETICS AS A BRAND: I have been a VIP of Fabletics for at least a year now. I believe that Kate Hudson and her team really do care about this brand's products. While design identity has changed a lot in just a year, I feel like Fabletics is always improving the quality of their clothes. It also means that the clothes have gotten more expensive. It's more difficult these days to find a $49 outfit that seems worth paying for because the leggings/top or bra combos of the past have now reached $60-90 prices (for VIPs). THE VIP MEMBERSHIP: I WILL echo the one-star reviews in that the VIP membership system of Fabletics is horrible. I have to set a reminder for myself every month to "Skip the Month", so I can avoid paying the $49.95, which really gets tiresome to do over time and a ridiculous system for athleticwear to begin with. I have no need for a new outfit every month--and that does speak for the quality of Fabletics because they will last. I hate how the store credit (a.k.a. I missed my reminder and forgot to skip the month, so I was charged $49.95 behind my back.) cannot be used on sales online, which again, is a ridiculous system. If you get in contact with any customer service, they will tell you they are "working on changing that system", so you can use the store credit online. LIES. Again, I've been a VIP for at least a year, and they have been saying the same thing since the beginning with no changes. Not even updates. THE FABLETICS COLUMBIA STORE: This is where the store comes in. There are promos like... sales racks sometimes that are available at the store but not online. Of course, they have inventory that the online store no longer has. This goes both ways as the Columbia store actually has somewhat of a poor inventory of any other products other than the leggings. I love how the store is laid out, and it's great how the leggings are organized. However, inventory is poor in that there's a lot of sizes missing, or they don't have a lot of them. But the best part about buying Fabletics online vs. in their very few stores is that aside from being able to try on the clothes, YOU CAN USE YOUR STORE CREDIT FOR THE SALES! You cannot do this online, which again, is a very shady business practice for Fabletics. When there is a holiday sale for 50%, for example, you cannot apply your $49.95 credit when you check out online. You have to choose between applying the 50% promotion and applying the $49.95 credit, which is stupid since that you would have paid that $49.95 in full from your wallet anyway. This is the primary grievance for Fabletics VIPs, but you can circumvent it by shopping at the stores, though far and few they are. Lastly, I want to add that customer service in this store has always been top notch. Every associate is friendly and eager to help every time I visit. They're knowledgeable about the different styles and fabrics of Fabletics, and they're not pushy at all. I always have a great shopping experience at this store because of how well-managed it is and how friendly the associates are. read more

I was reviewing my monthly credit card bill today prior to making my monthly payment. I noticed two charges from Fabletics that I didn't make. $59 in March and April. So, I called the credit card company to dispute the charges or file a fraud complaint. Turns out these subscription charges. I did subscribe to Fabletics in 2022 but had cancelled my membership back in the fall of 2022. Lo and behold, subscription charges started back up this past month. Fabletics claims they have been charging me every month since 2022 and it even says in my "account" that they have been. Again, not so. I ran through the charges with the credit card company. No charges since 2022 from them. So, they tried to scam me. Interestingly, I ran a search on my email. Started getting spam mail from them in March but no other email marketing since 2022. They refused to refund these two past months of charges and suggested that I use the "credits" to buy merchandise. Do Not Trust this company. read more

The fitting rooms are great too. I love their clothes and the fit of them. It's nice to see the things from the internet in real life. I had a great experience at this store. Three of the women at the store helped me find what I was looking for. I thought I knew what I wanted when I came in but once I tried on what I came in for I didn't really like it and Marcella and the other 2 women (whom I didn't get their names) really gave me some good recommendations and options. While purchasing my leggings Marcella checked with another employee to ask about any promotions they had. They didn't have any promotions for customers who were already members but I really appreciate her asking to make sure. I would have been pretty upset if they had one and I wasn't offered it but since she checked without me even asking was awesome and really considerate. I ordered some clothes online & they didn't fit me so I brought them to this location to exchange. The staff was quite helpful & had great customer service. There was some confusion with their system when they were processing my return so I had patiently waited for a while. After everything was resolved, the employee helping me had given me a coupon to use in the future, so naturally I asked why I was receiving it.To my surprise, the answer was because of their inconvenience to me, though I had not complained about waiting or anything else. I have never had such a great experience with customer service! You would think it would be easy to order a couple pair of leggings and a top or two....NOT! They need to spend some money on a proper website and proper advertising. First I got email saying "75% off anything". I added a few items with sale price posted to card. It did not take the 75% off. So I called and the person (not in the USA) said you cannot have two promotions in cart at same time. What? I told them that is not what your email advertisement said. Just "75% off anything". She could not speak very good English so I hung up. Then I removed everything from cart except two pair of leggings for $24. I put in my credit card and it failed.... that was weird but whatever. I used to love this site, their clothes are amazing for the price until I got one of their sports bras that is just useless. I've been a Fabletics member for quite some time and I think Fabletics is pretty clear about the $49.95 monthly charge if you don't opt to skip an outfit. I do think it's a bit of a scam but it does allow the company a potential consistent revenue stream. However, the company is pretty upfront about it and I was ok with this business model in order to get access to their VIP pricing. What I'm not ok with is of their other dumb rules outlined by Jodi G. I got charged for a month and had a return so I basically had a credit for about $100. Well, Fabletics breaks up that credit into 2 member credits of $49.95. So...if you decide to purchase something that is say like $60, you can use 1 member credit of $49.95 and then get charged on your card for the difference. You cannot use both of the credits if the order is less than $100! How retarded is that? A credit is a credit and a customer should be able to use it! Anyways, I ended up canceling my membership because it just got too complicated. Shopping should be fun not some complicated math problem. read more

This company is pretty much a scam. The first time I ordered from Fabletics, I thought it was a great deal. They give you a whole outfit for like $30. It was highly recommended by a couple of my friends, so I thought, ''Why not?'' I ordered my outfit, got it in the mail, and should have canceled right then and there. I picked size Medium for the tanktop, leggings, and sports bra, but each of them fit so tight and not flattering at all! They said Medium, but they looked and fit more like Extra Small. I was so disheartened. And I couldn't even return them because when I reached out to customer service, they said there's nothing they can do if I take the tags off. The tags got pulled off when I was trying them on - that's how tight they were! And it's not like I ever wore them and then tried to return them. I was so disappointed. From that point forward, it just became a habit to set an alarm on my phone to skip every month of my so-called ''VIP Membership'' so I don't get charged $60 a month. Who spends $60 a month on workout clothes anyway? One time, I was billed even though I skipped the month. I reached out to customer service again via email and they were good about refunding me, but they called it a ''one-time courtesy;'' as if it was my fault I got charged by mistake! Then, ever since, when I've tried to skip a month, the website says my email is mysteriously no longer listed in the system. They keep saying it when I try to skip until the very last day I can skip, the 5th of the month. Then, all of a sudden, my email is back on record and I can log in to skip. You can't even cancel your membership unless you call a rep and explain to them why you want to cancel, after which they'll try to lure you back in. Stay away from this company. It's a scam. I wish I would have read these reviews and other online reviews before becoming a member. It would be one thing if they advertised the monthly $49.95 charge like they do everything else. Then that way customers would be informed and could cancel the charge for that month. You're informed about the monthly charge in an email. The fact that you will be charged is in the fine print. If they really wanted customers to know it would be well advertised but they don't so they try to trick you. It's wrong and I'm very disappointed in the Fabletics establishment for this. I can't begin to say how terrible and complicating this process is to make a purchase here. This was my first time shopping with Fabletics and I saw prices listed as NEW VIP prices. I put several items into my shopping cart, only be to charged the much-higher VIP price. When I called customer service, I dealt with an incompetent women who couldn't understand this simple issue and told me I must've forgotten what I had put in my cart or that I must've previously shopped with Fabletics (note that I had never even heard this name until 1 hour ago when I read a Buzzfeed article which ALSO discussed the stupidity and difficulty of using this website). Beware! This company is a complete scam and over-charges for their clothes. Like most people, I joined because of the promise of a cheap first outfit, and after some browsing, I thought their clothes would be cute enough to keep the membership. Plus, if you skip the month, you don't have to worry, right? Wrong. See, the problem comes when you first forget to skip the month. Under no circumstances will they give you a refund for this. Trust me, after many, many customer service calls, the same line was repeated to me over and over again. So now, you are out $50. For one freakin' outfit. Well, what happens when you finally suck it up and decide to use your member credit? It won't apply, and when you call customer service to help you, they will make you aware that charges are non-refundable :). So there goes your money again. I will give them credit, however; the fourth customer service representative I spoke with was patient and did all she could to help me. What a total scam. Buyer is automatically enrolled in VIP program with first purchase, no matter what. I know I did not select their offer for discount with signing up and yet was enrolled anyways. I visited this store for the first time today and was very pleased. The sales assistant was extremely helpful. She was polite and answered all of my questions without being overbearing. I wish I could remember her name, but I seem to forget names easily so I'm sorry for that. Besides great customer service, I was surprised at the wide selection of merchandise in store. They carry new September styles in a variety of sizes so finding the perfect fit is easy. I had the ability of trying on different style leggings that I never before thought of purchasing, but ended up loving. I left the store quite pleased with a few leggings and a sweater. Overall, I have only positive things to say about this store. Fabletics clothing is flattering, functional, and the quality is better than name brands like Lululemon. Incidentally, I think Lululemon clothing is quite overrated. Lastly, Fabletics is reasonably priced; it costs less than most brand name athletic apparel. If I could give a zero rating, I would. This is for the online service. This is the biggest scam out there. They offer a free exchange. I returned the items for an exchange for new sizes, and Fabletics is saying the items that were supposed to be on hold, are no longer in stock. They refuse to issue me a refund due to an "issue in the system." The warehouse received my return on the 24th of May. It is not June 7th and they claim the warehouse team has not logged the return, so they cannot give me a refund. Basically, they steal your money and blame it on the warehouse team. read more

I have tried to purchase a cartful of merchandise, and the site continues to not accept any card within the billing/shipping tab. I confirmed with my bank and my credit card company that all three cards are active and that there is no problem. However the site will not accept them. I called Customer Service and they said sorry that is your problem not ours. They were extremely unprofessional. You can't stay on one place on the website without a lag time and being brought back and forth on the pages without clicking anything. Kate Hudson's Fabletics JUST opened its doors last week as one of the very first 7 physical Fabletics stores EVER. Now instead of wondering if the outfit you are purchasing online will work for you, you can finally try before you buy! The store itself is pretty small, but very well organized and the staff are very friendly and eager to help their customers. Although, even being a brand new store it comes a pretty hefty price tag ($80 for a pair of lightweight men's pants, not sure if they have the "cred" for that pricing yet). However, if you join the Fabletics membership program you can save almost half on all of your purchases! There is a catch though, each month you must "shop" the new or old styles (which are tailored to your preferences) by the 5th of the month or "pass" on shopping the latest styles, if you do not "pass" or "shop" by the 5th of each month they charge you a fee of around $40 which just accumulates to store credit. read more

So at first I didn't really "get it". Why have a physical store for an online subscription service? But it's actually really convenient. If you're a VIP member, you can still benefit from the discounts and points system. It's nice to try on the items before purchasing. There were a couple of things I would've bought online that I ended up not liking the fit of in person -- so it saved me a bit of hassle. I visited them during their grand opening party, and while there were probably too many employees working at one time in such a small store, one of the girls there (I wish I had asked for her name) was extremely helpful in helping me locate things I knew I had seen previously on the site. I ordered online back in March and it took forever to deliver. I put my email in at checkout thinking nothing of it until I saw that $50 was charged to my bank account today. I hadn't ordered anything besides my one order that was $30.39. At first I thought someone might have hacked my card/bank account but I wanted to call Fabletics to make sure it wasn't a mistake. I was on the phone with a lady named Mary and I asked her if there was an order placed or anything. She said no and proceeded to tell me that as a VIP member, you are charged a fee of 49.95 per month. She told me there's an option to skip the month for whatever benefit I got. But the thing is, I had NO clue I would be getting charged $50!!! And of course now there is nothing I can do. At that point I wanted her to cancel my account and she proceeded to offer me several different options and I just wanted it cancelled, but she wouldn't cancel it. I ended up calling back and spoke with another woman. She was nice, cancelled my account for me and all. I'm just really bummed that they took $50 out of my account and I had absolutely no clue that it would happen. They had a deal that was get two pairs of leggings for 24$ so obviously I took them up on that. little did I know, they scammed me and very secretly made me sign up for the VIP membership (which costs $50 every month). I had no idea that I was signing up for that and they tricked me into giving them money. Thankfully, I checked my debit card and I caught them taking my money ($50) before they made me give them more money. My friend went through the same problem except they took $100. When I called them they said that it was too late and I could not be refunded. This does not sound like the customer service we all deserve. And, honestly, the leggings were very thick and were not comfortable at all. The whole situation was terrible and I highly recommend you to be careful when you buy something from them. So glad my wife told me about Fabletics. She has been shopping with Fabletics online for the past year and she always gets compliments from her co workers on her outfits. One day I was at the mall in Columbia, MD and saw that they actually have a store. Initially, I went in to buy her a couple outfits to surprise her with but I was shocked to see that they have a mens section as well and I ended up buying more for myself than I did for my wife. The guy who helped me (I think his name was Larry) approached me and told me what seemed like everything about Fabletics. From company history to the different materials they have. He then went on to explain what they call the VIP membership program to me and how I could benefit from it. This was when I realized I had to take advantage of the deals on the items/outfits that I had picked out. Long story short, I was supposed to spend $600 on my purchase but after he signed me up for the VIP program I ended up spending a little more than half of that. GREAT STORE, GREAT PRICES, NICE GEAR AND AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! I finally have some nice workout gear to wear other than Nike and Under Armor pieces which seem to be all about "Flash" and a popular logo.
