I love the Talbot Outlet, especially in January-February when everything is super cheap and Buy Three Get One Free. When you go through the front door consider taking advantage of the cool wardrobe carts that you can use to gather purchases to try on or consider. There's a place on the cart to park your bag and coat too. I was able to find Many things but finally narrowed it down to just four pieces-- two lovely wool blazers and two tops. My total? $68. The original retail prices on the tags would have taken my purchases well over $500. The thing I like about Talbot's: There is no clothing here for men or children, this is just for ladies. They do offer misses, women, and petites-- as a petite woman I appreciate this. Talbot's also sells accessories like scarves, jewelry, and shoes. Bonus: At the counter, they have social distancing markers and hand sanitizer. Also, the sales associate here is very professional and nice. Thanks, Talbot's for my annual wardrobe refresher! I was thrilled to combine a medical appointment at Johns Hopkins with a return to this store. My home is 1 1/2 hours away in Pennsylvania. I LOVE shopping here as it is possible to move between size "departments" to find the perfect fit. The salespeople are delightful: always knowledgeable to answer questions without ever bothering you to offer help. I am very independent in my tastes, and don't really appreciate the retail associates who seem to forever ask if this or that should be put into the dressing room. As is the case everywhere, prices have gone up a bit. When I visited today, almost everything in the store was 60-70% off last store sale prices. Given the fact that there used to be clearance racks where all jackets were $19.99 or skirts $9.99 for example, it was a bit disappointing to find the same items now often at twice the prices. But it is what it is and there are still great reductions and selection. I must admit that I come from the Baby Boomer generation which experienced a time of "matchy-machyness." But there is no need to style your outfits accordingly.I have no problem finding classic separates as a base for interesting combinations. I love the brilliant hues which often give a "pop" to my outfits. I do, however, find dresses which seem "matronly." The patterns often seem outdated or there sometimes an excess of fabric. I have found some great sundresses, though. I loved the jewelry when it was all on sale for about 5 or 10 dollars. It is far less interesting now at half price. Often the pieces were meant to coordinate with the clothes of the respective season. Without coordination with featured clothes they may seem of less interest by themselves. I should add that I appreciate being able to use reward coupons at these stores. Also the 60-day return policy is an added courtesy-- especially for those of us who travel from a distance. 5 read more

this outlet is filled with tons of wonderful deals! most of their classic pieces are deeply discounted and then offered at about fifty percent more off their price. they also have some great deals on cute shoes! there are petites, women's, and misses sections in this store. you will see women of all ages scouring the racks here for deals. read more

Yes, this Talbot's Outlet has changed but it's still a great place to go for quality classic clothing at good prices. Though it's not obvious, the store is divided into two sections -- the "made for outlet" section and the "clearance center" section which is actually retail clothes that have come here to to be sold at clearance prices. Pricing is a bit inexplicable sometimes -- I bought a pair of cordoroy jeans for $35 from the "outlet" section and saw what appeared to be the exact same pair for priced at 40% off of $69 (or $41.40) in the "clearance" section. Though there are fewer weekly bargains to be had, the off-season sales are still good -- like $7 knit shirts and $15 cotton cardigans. But this is a place I check out often and buy something only when it's a true bargain. Note: outlet section items are returnable while clearance center items are not. read more

I was in the area not too long ago and decided to walk in to see what kind of clothes they had since there was huge sale signs plastered all over the windows. I admit that I was a little hesitant because I thought there would only be "mature" women's clothes. To my surprise, I actually found three sweaters at a deep discount. Now, from my experience, this location has a lot of older looking styled clothes. To be frank, a lot of the items look really dated. You have to truly pick through the racks to find more modern pieces like the ones posted on Talbots' Instagram page. The dressing room reminded me of like a thrift store's, but it served its purpose. Drove all the way out here in an attempt to find new clothes for my job, which requires a bit of a "dressier" atmosphere... and didn't find much. For one thing, all of the offerings here seem to be priced even more than the regular store - what's the point of that when I can just go to Towson or wherever? I mean, if the clothes are the same price or more, why make a special trip? Not a whole lot in petite or "women's" sizes, either. I understand that these things are considered "niche" markets, but if you're going to put things on discount, be inclusive. I didn't get far enough to experience the service and/or the fitting rooms. The prices just flat out put me off to the point where there WAS no point in coming here. There is no way I'm going to pay 120 dollars for a sweater, no matter how beautiful or well-made it is. Not when I can buy 3 sweaters at a regular Talbot's for the same amount of money, or go to Ross/Marshall's and find even more at rock-bottom prices. Good for what it is - if you're taller than 5'7" and have money to burn, anyway. read more

Well Talbots Outlet, times have changed... I actually wrote a letter to corporate after my last two experiences there... The fitting room stinks of old nasty carpet.... Markdowns are not nearly what they used to be and the merchandise selection isn't either. Last Fall I bought a cardigan on clearance for $12, that same cardigan was on the "new arrivals" 30% off mark down racks for thirty-something dollars in April. (Hmmm... bringing stuff out as if it's new and marking it back up? Not ok.) The last thing is the service... For those who are familiar with Talbots (the regular store at the mall) they are well known for their friendly and attentive customer service. This outlet used to be that way as well, in those recent visits I had two separate encounters of total rudeness. In one I was spoken to condescendingly, and in the other the woman acted like she was doing me a favor by letting me try my clothes on (it was close to closing time and they had roped off the fitting room... though they never annouced a "last call" for it!) Does it make any sense to close the fitting room OF A FINAL SALE STORE when there are customers still shopping? NO. Anyway, I don't think I'll be shopping at this or any other Talbots location anytime soon. Shame to see them go downhill. read more

I have been a customer of Talbots since 1973 and have always known them for high quality classic clothing. All of the stores I have shopped out have had outstanding and attentive customer service. That being said..the outlet/clearance center in Cockeysville is awful. The merchandise is cheesy..fabrics on their tops are terrible. The store is disorganized. Customer service isn't great. If I were corporate I would make a visit to this store and see for themselves. Maybe their standards on the outlet centers and clearance stores are not the same.... read more

The customer service was not exceptional, but I'm a bargain hunter so I expect no customer service. I purchased 5 pairs of high quality jeans for $10 each ($70 per pair at the regular Talbots), a $90 sweater for $9.50, and 2 shirts for $3.50 each. They refused to grant me a Talbots credit card (I got a coupon in the mail for 25% off if I got a card), since they are the outlet. Their petite department is exceptional ($10 jeans). read more

This is a great place to find quality clothing at a deep discount. Talbots Outlet offers classic pieces and leans toward the preppy style. You have to be willing to look through the racks to find the best deals. Just recently purchased 70 dollar tailored white summer pant for $7.99. It is a great place to shop off season. They have great dresses and sweaters. I am petite and can usually find my size. I live fairly close so I check back regularly. Sometimes going in on a non-sale day is the best time to find the really great deals. read more

I drive from PA to MD to get these wonderful deals! Never dissappinted. Although you cant go shopping for something specific because its more of a hit and miss. What I usually do is buy the boots or whatever for" dirt cheap" and then put in closet until appropriate season arrives. Customer service is not bad but I much prefer shopping in the outlet than the regular store..I've shopped in Harrisburg and I really get irriated with the "snobbery" of the staff there. Everything I travel to MD I am always pleased. I've noticed their no return policy too! If buying for Christmas or gift for a family memeber or friend you cant return at all. You used to be able to return in regular stores in PA.. that is one of the things I dont like that changed. read more

Talbots can also be for young kids because some people don't look their age and look grownup so talbots can be for anyone women,children and talbots does not just have dresses and skirts and fancy shoes. They have pants and shirts and regular kind of shoes. But pricing is a little bit over so you kind of have to have money money when you go in there. read more
