I browsed through the women section, as I was quiet disturbed in the kids section at noon with the lack of a plausible selection. I didnt find any good buys today. This mall is still viable and family friendly. Parking is hard for those needing disability parking as its not many spots close. I enjoyed the day eventhough the escalators in the mall seemed to be out of service moving folks to department stores to go up or down.

They have lots of employees fixing and organizing the clothing, or to help with any questions. I have been shopping at Uniqlo for a long time and most of the clothing I have purchased there maintains strength and durability no matter how many times you wash or dry clean them. I do wish there were more locations, but then again not so much bc I'll be broke. I do like their heattech collection, it does keep me warm during colder months. They also offer free alterations depending on what you need done and if it meets the price threshold. I forgot the minimum, but I don't think it was much. If not they charge around $5 or so. This is the closest location in the Pasadena/Annapolis area. They also have a few other locations in Bethesda, Montgomery Mall, and D.C. I'm sure there are more and I've heard there will be a new location in Annapolis Mall. Their clothing can be pricey, depending what you buy. However they do have sales throughout the year and you can get many pieces at a low price. Overall, the Columbia location has a wide variety, but one of their small stores. The location on 5th Ave, NY is by far their largest store.

As I was packing for our East Coast adventure, I was thinking fall weather clothing: boots, beanies, light jackets.....oh but on our last two days, mother nature said NOPE, I am bringing the heat! It was hot and we were slightly dying, as we passed Sweet Elizabeth Jane, not only was their storefront display soooo cute, but we could feel the AC blasting when we passed by. Seriously, this was the reason why we went in. Not knowing what to expect, I was surprised. The store was two floors, but not only did it have the cute souvenirs and Christmas decor that was visible as we passed by, but it had cute clothes and accessories. What a gem of a store....it was boutique plus, plus!!! This store has my heart. It was hard to narrow down my shopping since I had to be mindful that I had a carry on and personal item to travel back home. I couldn't resist and decided to purchase items and just ship them to myself back home. I bought a shawl/jacket in the most wonderful Olive Green color that is perfect for walking and driving in. I also got the softest scarf. Customer service was top notch. I saw this scarf on display on a mannequin and I asked if it came in different colors and they went to go look since I am not a big fan of the browns in my attire choices. I got a gray/black combo scarf. Since we had cooled down significantly as we were shopping, we got hungry and asked if we could place the items on hold since we didn't want to carry our purchases until the end of our exploration and headed back to the car. I gave them my name, they placed the items on hold and we went to eat. When we came back, the store associate remembered my name and that our items were on hold. She also told me that they have a website with many items for sale from their actual sales floor that could be shipped and proceeded to tell me how the store got started. She wrapped the items with care and off we were. Prices are completely reasonable for a store of this caliber. This store could easily fit into the vibe of Stanford Shopping Center, Santana Row, downtown Carmel, etc.....but I KNOW that this place will blow any rivals strictly due to their fair pricing, storefront size and their unique items. I could have gone to any store much like this, but this was closest to where I was at this point. It was busy when I came in here, but I found my way to the department I wanted to be in. Grabbing my items I continued to browse. I ended up with an armload of items and made my way to the front of the store. The line here can be intimidating. Like so many places like this, the move at a snail's pace. It doesn't help that the customers in front of you just don't pay attention. Even with a majority of the registers manned, it still took a while to get through the line. The staff I did deal with were nice. Just was pleasant during the whole interaction. Finally free from the line, I was able to leave this store.
