Tried Fabio's tonight a few weeks after reading the reviews. They close earlier than reported elsewhere, but I made a special trip this evening. Had their large pizza with artichoke hearts, ham and olives and a beer while I waited. I like a small locally owned place to one of the chains and am willing to pay more for that. While I was there the place was hopping. At least a dozen parties arrived for take out or eat in. Nearly all were apparently regulars greeted by name. It is clear the owners are well regarded. My pie was well done, as good as any in town. Olives were chemically ripened, but nearly everyone uses them. Will try a sub sometime soon. read more

Great family owned place. The owner and his wife were working the afternoon we went in, they went out of way to make sure we had a good meal. The food was good and price was fair. The BEST pizza in Naples! My boyfriend and I have been on the hunt for good, authentic New York pizza, and after trying many places around town I can honestly say this is the best! We don't even try pizza from anywhere else - just not an option anymore. The owner's are very friendly, and Italian so they certainly know what they're doing when it comes it pizza. The pizza is hand tossed, so not TOO thin. The restaurant is quite small so its best to just order out; only two or three tables inside and two small tables outside. But we have also sat down when we just ordered a couple of slices for lunch (you can only get full pies at dinner though, just in case you're planning ahead). Stopped by last night during fierce lightning storm. Brought home a margarita pie. Tremendous.

Had a slice of cheese while I waited for a stromboli. It was good, not great, don't quite understand the hype. The stromboli was very impressive albeit expensive. It's $17.50 with pepperoni, I added mushroom and sausage @ $1.75 ea. for a total of $21. When I saw the 1 ladle of sauce for this huge stromboli I asked for extra sauce, it was $1.87 for another ladle. Total now, $22.87, pushing my personal envelope for a stromboli. That said, the stromboli is massive and was prepared with precision and plentiful ingredients. The owners are very nice and the establishment is very clean and well organized. read more

Fabio's served delicious pie, and the couple with deep Italian accents that were working when I ordered (I assume they own the place) were super friendly, even helped carry out our big order to the car. It was delicious as promised, the smell of the butter and garlic were so intense that they seemed to have arms of smoke that would reach into your nostrils and begin to make you smile with delight upon each entry you partake... Sad situation. Went to enjoy a pizza with my service dog, and the owner refused to serve us. I nicely explained she was a service dog and he still refused to serve me. He said the law doesn't allow dogs in restaurants. I explained the ADA law does permit service dogs in restaurants, but he still refused. I said I would show him the law on my Iphone, but he said he didn't care, that he would follow his law. We left... but very sad situation when a restaurant owner doesn't know the law and discriminates against someone with health issues. read more

It was okay. It couldve had more flavor, but still good. The stramboli was awesome... i couldnt even finish 1/4 of it lol. The sauce was lacking on the texture side, to runny for me and especially as a dipping sauce. I only like sauce like that with pasta. The best New York style pizza in Naples. Friendly, warm, family atmosphere. Have sampled both the regular and Sicilian pies, and both were absolutely delicious. The place is tiny and often crowded, especially in season. The wait for the Sicilian pie the last time I went seemed long, especially since we had children with us, so better buy them a bag of chips or bring along a game to keep them occupied. (I should mention that the proprietor came to our table and apologized for the wait, saying Sicilian pies take longer to bake--that was nice). Soft drinks are bottles and cans from a refrigerated case, and they seemed a bit overpriced, but otherwise, it's a great deal! read more

Food is very good pies are a 8 out of 10. Like Pepes better. I went to this restaurant for the very first time. Owner, Fabio, greeted us. We had the best chicken parmigan that we have had in the last 10 years. Unbelievable. The pasta was absolutely perfecto! Our salad and dressing Italiano was the best. My husband's favorite dish is always chicken parmigan. He said it was the best ever. We plan on visiting this restaurant on an at least weekly basis.
