I am not sure where to begin with my compliments so I will start with the humans. Abi, our server was outstanding. She Knew the menu inside and out and had great suggestions. Interior is large and relatively quiet for how many tables they have. Came here on a Tuesday after golfing with a friend because it's halfway for both of us. They had a 14oz NY strip with two sides for $19.99 ????? I had to confirm this wasn't an error. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had a great crust. This is a $45-$60 meal in Grand Rapids or Lansing. Quality, service and value this place is crushing it. If I am with in a 20 minute drive to here and need a meal this is where I'm coming. read more

Went on a Saturday night for the prime rib and walleye specials. Got there around 6pm. Was told the only prime rib available is medium well and more well-done. So wife and I ordered the walleye. After getting the salad and drinks, then waiting about 30 minutes, was told no walleye available. So I ordered the pork ribeye, that was made terrific as usual. Wife had chicken bruschetta that was mostly cold. Big disappointment no specials available. Place was clean. read more

Ho hum. same old same old. I guess people need a place to go where the food is the same as many other restaurants have. Well, its clean. And not too noisy either. The music is definitely in the background, and no tables of screeching women . Most of the children are quiet and well behaved...The soft drinks are large and come with refills. We don't drink alcohol. The service was fast, a side salad big and fresh lettuce with a few tomato pieces and choice of dressing. We go on Fri or Sat nights when Prime rib or wall eye are specials. We get the prime rib 12 ounce medium rare. It comes with that side salad and a regular side like baked or fries etc. nothing strange. I wish the potato was warmer as the butter didn't melt on it. The meat was pretty fatty and stringy and you really had to trim around to get to the edible parts. Aus jou came with it also and sour cream for your potato. We were full after eating which is a good thing! I don't know if there was dessert offerings, the waitress never mentioned it. The dinner for two was $60. Came here for the first time with my family. We read some reviews talking this place up. I had the cherry chicken wrap. It wasn't bad, but it was bland. The flavor wasn't there. It probably could have used more sauce. The sweet potato fries were good, though. My fiance had the Dublin burger, he said it was good other than to much Corn beef and not enough sauce. His tutor tots were perfect he said. And his app was fried mushrooms he also said they were amazing. Finally our waitress was just a little weird. Not a bad weird more like a non sociable weird. This exit (M-66 and I-96) is the 1/2 way spot between our GR home and our daughters home in Lansing. We have met up at the gas station so many times over the years, but did not realize this restaurant was even here. Restaurant seemed very busy for a Wednesday evening? Everything we ordered was well prepared. Mushroom Swiss Burger was delicious. Hearty burger with generous serving of sautéed onions and mushrooms. Build-your-own burger was good. We like the salad bar at Lindas, but on Feb. 11 the salad bar had about 7 or 8 items on it. It was very lame and unusually poor. I made mention to the server about it and she said she would get the manager. (she said there had been many complaints) I thought I would chime in. A smart mouth jerk came to our table and as soon as I said " salad bar" he went on a 2 minute tirade about food cost and waste and the salad bar was a loss leader. I suggested he raise the price and perhaps review his food storage practices. ( I had told him I had been a restaurant manager for over 20 years) He rolled his eyes and said " I could not do that." Not knowing this jerk was the owner, I went home and called to get the phone number of the district manager. They took my number and 1/2 hour later, guess who called me, Yep the same idiot that lectured me at the table. Not good at all!!! Me and my girlfriend wanted to try a new place to eat, so we gave corner landing a shot . As soon as we entered, the establishment wasn't totally busy with was great, but some of the floors and tables nearby were dirty and some food particles on the floor, but I could observe that they either were short staffed or something, but our server from behind the bar, who took already 8 minutes to get our drink orders and appetizer orders. Our drinks were empty in 10 minutes and our appetizers were on our table in 30-40 minutes and pretzels were great, but the server had me and try the cheese curds to make sure our food was at temperature, that should've been made aware at the service window instead by a customer just saying lol, so finally your drinks refilled and got to eating appetizers were good one my cheese curds were at temperature , so we are still waiting on our main course of food, during this my gf had ordered chicken tender basket with FRENCH FRIES, and about 10 minutes before our food had came out we overheard the two other waitresses telling customers that they were out of French fries, which was weird considering of why were weren't hearing the same from our waitresses/bartender, and I noticed she was busy behind the bar the entire time were waiting earlier on drinks, and appetizers, and when we had heard of other tables being out of French fries, my gf had guessed that our server is probably going to bring her food out with out the fries instead of asking right away of what she wants. And lord and behold, she was right, our server br8ngs out our food, but there was sweet potato fries on there and she assumed that would be a good item to have in replace of French fries that she just now found out they were out of!!!!!, but server did say she can replace sweet potato fries with something else, well they were out of cottage cheese, and so she could only pick Tater tots, as that was the most best option out of Cole slaw and onion rings, both of witch she doesn't like. We both were peed off with our service at this point ohh BTW, the meal took almost an hour and ten minutes to get to our table, but while we're eating our food tenders were great, my burger was juicy and delicious, and the tator tos were drenched in oil with made my gfs stomach unhappy, again our server , my gf had a spot right in front of me that faced the bar where our server was most of our time in this establishment, and my gf over heard her say that "she doesn't that she served us bad at all", think that me and my gf weren't paying any attention to her and not heard her at all , so we recant all of witch we didn't like with our service and I said that I'm only gonna tip the server $1, because of poor service and the rude attitude we seen and heard from her. She was lucky to even have received the tip as I debated on not giving here one at all. But I'm generous enough to not leave no tip. But, in conclusion, poor cleaning, poor service, not going back at all!!! If the service was better and around MORE often like every 3-5 minutes to idk make sure our drinks weren't empty, or like communicating that they were out of French fries BEFORE, our main course came out!!!! Gave this new restaurant a second try, and I am happy we did. I ordered chicken while my companion ordered a veggie wrap and fries. Salad bar was fine, no real surprises but everything was fresh. Entrees were served quickly, piping hot, and were delicious. Waitress was wonderful, attentive and checked back regularly. My only critism is that my dinner included a roll, which never arrived. It's a small town restaurant just off the expressway. It was a very busy Friday night with a packed house. The server did good and stayed on top of her tables. I watched the hostes run into the servers a few times. We didn't have much of a wait for our small group but we did have a wait while waiting to order. It was busy. I got the prime rib dinner and it was decent. The side choices are all basically potatoes or The chefs choice of vegetables which was canned corn that was burned. I ate one bite and no more. I was glad I had gotten the salad bar. Which cost me $3.99 extra. Everything felt a bit pricy for thr food that we ate. My sister got a steak wrap that she didn't finish. She said it was wayyyyy over seasoned and couldn't eat it. I will try it again at a later date and just hope they are not busy. We got sat at a table that was right by the front door. So while people were waiting the stood basically behind you while you ate. We have been here in three past for Mother's Day and enjoyed it. But tonight we did not as much due to the food and where we got placed to sit. read more

Nice little hidden gem. Fresh, home cooked meals with a full-service bar. Stopped in for Sunday lunch. Husband had the French dip (his go-to at EVERY restaurant) and was very happy with the sandwich. We were fortunate enough to get last minute reservations for Mother's Day Saturday night and had a great meal there last night. Three of us had the Walleye and it was excellent. A different type of breading than you usually see and it was outstanding; as a fellow restaurant owner - I want the recipe! The fries are also very good. The place was clean, the waitress was busy but attentive and the prices were very fair for the meal we received. Despite them being busy, our food came out quickly. We will be back! Had dinner here last Friday night, May 16, 2014. I had eaten here before and the menu and food was good. Not so much this time. The food was terrible. The salad bar was very minimal. Lettuce, beets, yellow pepper, and that was about it. I ordered fish and chips off the meager menu and was served two fish strips which had about 2 ounces of fish and several ounces of undercooked batter. The cole slaw was good. My wife ordered Potato chip encrusted white fish. I asked the waitress what kind of white fish it was. She asked the cook and he said Atlantic white fish, nothing more. When it was served it had a close similarity to Salmon, a pinkish mushy glob. It wasn't the worse meal I ever had but a close second. I can't recommend this restaurant. read more

Went on Father's Day for their buffet. The hours were listed as 11-3:00pm. The buffet was the only option for ordering. The salad items were empty - the "hot" food available was ham, fake turkey, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese. None of it was homemade, or even seasoned... Plus the containers were hardly refilled. We're on the way home from Grand Rapids with a 2 hour drive ahead of us, wanted to stop somewhere for a nice family dinner. Linda's Corner Landing seemed like a cute little restaurant. It was 5:30PM and the hours said opened until 9PM. There was one big group of people inside talking, including a waitress. We went up to what looked like the main doors, they were locked, no sign or anything, lights were on, and people were inside. Assuming we must have came to the wrong entrance, we checked the two others around the building, locked or with a sign that says use other door. Checked main door again, locked, no one acknowledging stating that they are closed for whatever reason, and no sign saying closed. Never even got to try the food. Recommend updating the web of your hours, or if your hours are inconsistent, atleast having a closed sign so people arent wasting their time. Won't come here again, got something up the road, many other choices. read more

Had Brunch here on Easter Sunday. The food was just ok. It is very much a meat and potatoes place. Not many fresh veggies. Iceberg lettuce on the salad bar. The atmosphere is nice. Live music during Brunch, which was entertaining. The desserts were store bought. So, nothing to brag about here. The staff was great, quick and very nice. I would recommend adding fresh vegetables to the hot food bar! And, nix the iceberg....no nutritional value whatsoever.
