The service was good. The onion rings were pretty good. If you order the calzone, know that it will come doused in garlic butter "sauce". It was soggy and not many toppings inside with a lot of thick crust. I stopped by for lunch they had some great lunch specials! My coworker tried the fried cod with chips she thought it was delicious. It has two pieces of cod, tomatoes, lettuce and tarter sauce on the side. I ordered chicken marsala, seasonal potatoes along with the side Caesars salad and sliced lemons. My food was excellent!!! I loved the chicken but the potatoes were my favorite. They were tossed in butter and garlic yummy!!! read more

Very pleasantly surprised, finding this when searching for something near the freeway as we traveled. The soup & salad lunch special was HUGE, didn't expect that! Thought it would be a small side salad, cup of soup & a soft breadstick. Choice of Caesar or garden salad, very good. Soup of the day or tomato bisque. Chose the tomato bisque--it was SO flavorful & good, a very large bowl, and a little cup with shaved cheese & croutons for the top. Expected one breadstick, per the menu, but there were too large ones on the plate. They were just ok, ate part of one. Didn't seem really fresh & warm or garlic flavored as listed. We live in a city 30 minutes south of Portland and this place popped up when I googled where to eat. 100% happy with our experience. I had the blackened chicken salad and my husband had the steak sandwich... also shrimp appetizer (photo). It was so good. Two of us for mid-week dinner. I started with the request of a cup of their daily soup, Cream of chicken and asparagus. I guess they only offer the bowl of soup with hot garlic bread stick, because that is what was served. If only item ordered $6.99, but if you add it to your entree order $2.99 - a really good deal. I took half home, and it was delicious the next day. I tried their Hot Beef Ciabatta with melted cheese and aus jus ($13.99), upgraded to French fries ($1.50 upcharge) and a side salad. The side salad was huge for $2,99. I'm a big fan of French dips, and had high hopes for their version based on the soup and salad great experience....unfortunately the beef was overcooked and dry, and not much of it on the huge ciabatta roll. My companion ordered the Chicken apple green salad. Slices of granny Smith and red apple, greens and grilled chicken $15.99. Nothing special, greens and apples were fresh. Ordered a pizza and bread sticks for take out. The bread sticks were what they call their " cheesy" bread sticks. What we received was bread sticks with cheese just in the middle. 70 percent of the bread sticks were not covered in cheese and didn't have any of the butter or Parmesan like they used to have. I asked for a marinara sauce for dipping, and we did not receive this in our order. The pizza looked like it was thrown together by a child. The toppings were scares, and it was cut all wonky. We sat at the bar, all was well until at about 9:40ish an older lady I would assume is a manager (she was taller with blonde hair) started to yell at a younger girl very rudely with customers all around and other employees. Stopped in to see what was good, and saw some very interesting pizzas on the menu. We ordered a thin crust Sicilian pizza, topped with mushrooms, artichokes, ham, red onion, tomatoes, and garlic herb sauce. The flavor was outstanding and the crust was perfectly crisp. So good! The place is modern, clean, and there's ample parking. Food aside, I left my cell phone there and didn't realize it til hours later when I was across the state. Great restaurant and sports bar area in the back. The place is a great spot for family or to watch some sports games. The original breadsticks are amazing! I've also had their pizza which is very good as well. This time I had one of the Ciabatta Italian oven sandwiches. It was light on the toppings but an overall tasty sandwich. The service staff is great. Went in for lunch in a Sunday and was in and out in about 45 min. I could've stayed all day to watch the games but just didn't have the time. read more

Third stop on our progressive dinner tonight. The food was so great. It ended up taking is about 10 mins longer to get here than we anticipated in our travels, but our food was still piping hot, steam coming from the food when I opened it! The chicken wasn't over cooked at all, cutting it you could see all the yummy juices, and the mushrooms & onions were cooked to perfection, they held their shape, not mushy at all. The fries has a crispy texture and you didn't even need ketchup they were good on their own! If I ever pass here again in my travels I will definitely go. read more

The last time we were there I had left my wallet in the booth, the manager called me to let me know they found it under the booth and would mail it back since I live about an 1.5 hours away! Stopped in today because we had a gift certificate. Was seated by the manager who was friendly and offered menus right away. We ordered two Stromboli and waited about 20 minutes. When they came to the table they were enormous, hot, and great. We quickly ordered two more to take home for our teenage boys. The Stromboli is large enough that it is easily two meals. The fries and the onion rings tasted if the frier had not been changed in a long time. Ordered a beer, and got the beer right about the time we were done with our meal.
