Despite the blow to my ego I wasn't hurt, but not one member of the staff bothered to check. And considering that the two bridal party members, who had already arrived, were the ONLY ones in the restaurant you couldn't say it was too busy to notice. Burgers were ok, nothing to write home about.

I worked as a server at this restaurant for about a year (Greenville Location). During my time here I regularly went above and beyond my job description, helped to cover unclaimed shifts/gaps in scheduling, worked late nights, early mornings, and helped out whenever needed. For the most part I enjoyed my job, I made new friends, and I was excited to be a part of this startup restaurant! A few weeks before I was let go, I called in a couple of times due to a personal issue out of my control, to which I conversed with and informed the manager/owner the entire time. I'm not the type of employee to call off frequently, but this was an important matter. Instead of having a conversation with me, I was suddenly removed from the work app with no notice or explanation. I reached out multiple times for clarification and never received a response. Being let go in this manner - with zero communication and no opportunity to discuss what happened - was hurtful and unprofessional, and it added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. There seems to be a pattern of aggressive management behaviors from the owner, as I am not the only one to voice these type of concerns during my involvement with this establishment. I am deeply saddened by this experience and lack of compassion. Before I ever worked here, my family and I would frequently come to visit, it used to be a place we enjoyed. Having gone through this situation as an employee has completely changed how I see the restaurant and has tainted those positive memories. It is disappointing to feel that a place that once felt welcoming from the outside operates so differently behind the scenes. I hope the restaurant will improve its communication, respect for employees, leadership approach, and treatment of staff going forward. :) read more

There was another big table of people the waitress was also serving. Turns out 20 minutes or so later she went to put in our order and they were out of brisket! She was apologetic and offered to buy us dinner. We split the chicken sandwich instead and got some onion rings with it. The chicken sandwich was really good; juicy, crispy, no complaints. I was full after eating half and splitting the onion rings with my friend. Onion rings were okay, but didn't appear to be homemade. We appreciated the ranch to dip it in. Before leaving we took our photo next to the cute garden wall with a shiny neon sign that read "Making Pour Decisions!" So punny!! I don't live around the corner, so I probably won't be back anytime soon, but the food is good. We appreciate the servers remedied any of the errors graciously and felt like we were treated with respect. This place is a great diner themed bar with a relaxed vibe.
