Ryan's is where you go when your crowd is too big for the your hole-in-the-wall hometown dive bar or when you're feeling fancy. It is a large space with bar and table seating. Depending on where you enter, you might have to go around the bar to find the host, just keep going. You'll find the seating. If you're in need of a banquet (up to maybe around 100 people?), they also have a well-appointed basement that you can rent, and they will cater your event. Back to the standard bar-restaurant area, they now have digital menus which work well, and they will teach you how to use them. There are specials on the landing page, and then sections for burgers, sandwiches, meals, etc. A wait person will still take your order and handle substitutions, requests, and recommendations. Service is solid, and the food is good. The menu is a bit too broad for it to be great food, but they do a wide variety of things surprisingly well, so you're safe ordering almost anything, though I would question the salad bar, not from Ryan's perspectives, but the guests. Cheers.

They have great specials for game time, like Lions kool-aid, and half off pizzas. You have an obstructed view of at least two TVs. Easy off and back on the freeway. We took a chance with their parking lot being big enough for our rig. It definitely was and could fit a few if ppl with rigs or trailers parked correctly. The food was really good. Entrees come with soup and salad bar. It's small but just fine. I had the Mahi bowl. It was light but good flavors and not over cooked. Hubs had the Not Your Mama's lasagna. Surprisingly it was excellent with that REALLY good garlic toast. Service was quick and efficient. Could not have been better.

A pretty good overall experience, perhaps a few things could be improved for next time…read more I was pleased with the quality of our appetizer, as well as the creativity. We went with a fried goat chase appetizer, which I've never had before, and never even seen on another menu before. The cook clearly enjoys using balsamic glaze as this was used on both the appetizer and later on my entrée as well. Balsamic glaze is certainly delicious, but I'm not sure if it goes well on quite as many things as the cook seems to think it does. My entrée was a dish of mushroom ravioli prepared in a purée made with green peas. I noted that the chef used a variety of spices in preparing the purée, to very good effect. My wife ordered the New York strip, and what was brought out looked very good. We both had cocktails, and in both cases the cocktails or well-made. I ordered a Mojito type drink made with tequila. My wife ordered a strawberry Mamosa. I noted the care that was taken in preparing both drinks which tells me there's a professional bartender on staff. About the only thing that needs to be improved is the service. We waited just a bit too long for certain aspects of the meal in a restaurant that was nearly empty. The server was certainly polite and well mannered, but I think he was the only one working that evening. Perhaps on weekends they're better staffed?

We tried three different devices to place an online order and couldn't get to the cart to place the order and pay. Then we called the restaurant and they wouldn't take our order over the phone. Who does that and why?! Anyhow, we ended up sending someone to the restaurant to order. Which ended up being fine since he was going to pick it up our orders anyways. I ordered a chicken bowl loaded with rice, lettuce, banana peppers, street corn, cilantro and onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guac, green sauce, and pico de gallo. I wanted black beans too but either the restaurant forgot or the orderer missed them. Even so, this flavor combo was an amazing treat for my taste buds. I really think it was the street corn that made the dish! Lots of lime flavor. Although it was a lot of food, I devoured the whole bowl plus chips and salsa. The chips weren't the greatest, but it was still nice to have that crunch with my bowl. Since we did carry out, I can't comment on the ambiance. But this food would probably be good any where! Just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it again.
