Granola n yogurt

I love this place. The Italian food is good. The bakery is unbelievable. There's spaghetti Bolognese is extra special and their green salad is wonderful. It has everything in it. Music is unreal outdoor patio gives people a lot of chance to have to have a family gathering, they can accommodate a lot of people, the red velvet cake is to die for and our drinks are great. Good wine list very consistent.

Found this nice restaurant in Kihei. We went on a Sunday and had a brunch menu. They were friendly and nice. They have an indoor as well as outdoor seating area. The food tasted good but portions were small for the price. The yogurt and granola was very plain as well as the waffle special. We may come back to try dinner but breakfast was a little expensive. Maybe try other options on the menu.

Customized Cheese Pizza with Artichoke, Chicken, Extra Cheese, Onions, and Sun Dried Tomato.

Late March 2025 we were in the mood for Italian flavors. After a decade of visiting Kihei, we looked up Fabiani's and had a nice meal and a great time in this neighborhood spot. We customized a Cheese Pizza with Artichoke, Chicken, Extra Cheese, Onions, and Sun Dried Tomato, *phew*! I ordered their House Margherita Pizza made with red sauce, although I prefer white sauce on this pie. I also ordered one meatball on the side to try it out; it was flavorful and I'll have Spaghetti and Meatballs on a future visit. An iced tea and a water were our drinks; we're not drinking much alcohol, lately. The pizzas were good. Fabiani's thin crust pizzas have enough body and crispness to hold the toppings of our custom pizza. The Margherita was lightly dressed and good on the thin crust. The iced tea was fun for us to figure out; she immediately said Hibiscus Tea with something else in it. I took a sip and said, Raspberry. The staffer who offered us a sprinkling of Parmesan on our pizzas said we were both right: their iced tea is a Hibiscus-Raspberry blend! We enjoyed the restaurant. It appeared to be a favorite with bar patrons drinking and visiting. Most of the table patrons appeared to be neighborhood folks. It wasn't crowded on a week night. It's plain to see that the Canadians are avoiding Hawaii because of the turn in National politics, and it was after Semester Break.

What happened to this place? Food and service has fallen. And desserts hit serious shrinkflation.. make them smaller or raise the price, don't do both! Owner was running the resister tonight and not sure he's best suited for that job. Place was empty. Food came out wrong. Our table never got bread. Water never refilled. Guess that's why you add the tip when you order because no one would tip otherwise. That said the food was okay. Will just get it to go next time.

Fabiani's Pizza - 12 inch
Lynda H.

When we arrived for lunch they had a three piece group playing. They were good, but way too loud for such a small place, so we opted for eating outside which was lovely. We shared a 12-inch pizza adding our favorites to our sides. I had artichokes and mushrooms on my side; hubby had pepperoni, mushrooms, onions. We had arugula over the whole pizza. I love thin crust especially when it's crispy which this one was except on part of the bottom. It was tasty but there were very few mushrooms on either side, and very little sauce. The pepperoni was tasty and not at all greasy. There were adequate artichokes, onions and arugula. The outside area was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive, and helpful. It's located off the main streets, but parking at the door. Also, the Friends of Maui Library Bookstore is just a few steps away, a plus! The pizza was good except for part of the bottom being soggy. When we return to the island we may try again.

This is what I got. VERY TASTY. even if you're not vegan or gluten free.

Updating past review. Unfortunately, the vegan bolognese is not the same at all. I'm so devastated as it used to be the most amazing dish! It's now penne pasta (not homemade pappardelle) and the sauce is so thin -couldn't find any of the "meat" or "parm" topping. They added mushrooms on it at least but it was like something I could make at home. The pizza was a confusion - I ordered online to try to make it easy so I didn't know they added a 14" pizza. Well it's a completely different crust than their delicious 12" crust type. The 12" Is the kind I like. Also my bad, I realized on Apple Pay I just pressed buy with 1 button and it didn't add a tip in!? So I feel really bad about that as it's not the workers fault the food isn't as good. I wish I could leave a $100 tip to get the yummy version vegan bolognese back!!!

I'm updating the review to 5 stars because I originally docked them a star because they cost more than I expected (these were higher than DC prices). But the menu showed the correct price and the taste/quality met/exceeded the expectation even at that price. 5 stars because I would definitely visit (and pay extra) again

Service was okay, you have to order everything at the counter before you sit down. Maybe that's why I didn't get anything other than my entree. When they come to give you cheese on top, they use an electric cheese grader and it's so awkward Food was good and very very delicious but portions are way too small for the price...

Special mom's dessert for Mother's Day made by the fabulous Michelle Fabiani
Kirsty S.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fabiani's twice on Mother's Day, once for breakfast and again for dinner. Each visit was nothing short of delightful! Breakfast: The breakfast menu is a true treat! We indulged in over 8 breakfast items which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients really shines through, and we appreciated the generous portions. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect start to Mother's Day. The co-owner iMichelle Fabiani and Mike were actually in the kitchen that morning cooking and baking making sure everything turned out perfect. The staff is always very pleasant and polite accommodating to all the customers needs. Dinner: For dinner, we ordered about eight entrées to split with each other], and it overly satisfied our Italian craving since we just finished washing the movie Nonna's after breakfast, which is about Italian grandmother's cooking. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was evident that they take pride in their culinary creations. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. Pastries: No visit to Fabiani's would be complete without trying their pastries! We sampled almost one of everything between both of our visits and it was heavenly. The perfect combination of flaky and rich, it was the ideal sweet ending to my meals. The red velvet cake is to die for, and in my opinion, one of the best desserts in the world Overall, my experiences at Fabiani's were fantastic. I highly recommend visiting this gem in Maui for anyone looking for delicious food and delightful pastries. I can't wait to return! I have frequented this restaurant dozens of times since they've opened and we also really enjoy the happy hour that they have with half off their amazing pizzas ---

Is there still happy hour? If so did the seating issue get resolved? Thanks

I was there in August and there was a happy hour but only if you sit at the bar. If I'm not mistaken, it was only between 2 and 5 pm.

Do they take reservations for parties on 10?

So you have gluten free options available?

Ya they have GF pizzas for sure. And they're really tasty.

Are you open this morning am?

According to their website the restaurant is open from 7 AM to 11 AM for breakfast. From 11 AM to 4 PM for lunch and 4 PM to 9:30 PM for dinner. They actually close at 9:00…

Do they offer a kids menu?

Yes they do. They also have a dedicated kids play area so you can eat while the kids play.

Do they take reservations for dinner?

No reservations. Walk-ins only

It was absolutely delicious. Michael mentioned that they usually sell out of this dish early in the evening, so if you're planning to order it, I'd recommend getting there early. The food is delicious, the staff are all amazing and I guess you put those two together and you come up with the coolest restaurant in Maui. We started with the shrimp and mushroom potstickers with wild caught shrimp...the flavor just oozed out, so good. Then, onto the Bourgeois Pizza made with fresh lobster, lapa'au farm oyster mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese! This is the only restaurant I've ever been to with lobster pizza and it is SO GOOD! Big chunks of fresh lobster...forever grateful to the chef who came up with this. Our server, Amanda, made the whole evening a treat. You don't find staff who make you feel like you're a part of the island but she did! This place is a must if you're going to Maui!

Stopped by for dinner at Monkeypod in Wailea and it surprisingly exceeded my expectation and…read moreresulted in me going to Monkeypod in Ka'anapali two more times on this trip. Fairly laidback atmosphere, not as formal as Merriman's which I went to earlier on the trip, so easy to come in and feel comfortable in something as simple as a shorts and a t-shirt. Also service was good -- again, not as formal as Merriman's. A couple dishes really stood out; the poke tacos was excellent, the kalua pork & pineapple was amazing and by far my favorite dish (which is half-off during happy hour, resulting in subsequent happy hour trips), and the strawberry cream pie which was delicious. The dishes I had which could have been better included both the organic macadamia nut crusted fresh fish and the fresh caught fish tacos; they served mahi mahi the night we went, and both were "okay," but I've had ample better of both dishes at other establishments in Maui, and especially at these really high prices -- I'd recommend going to a better spot for these dishes instead. I found the monkeypod mai tai to also just be "okay"; can definitely find better mai tai's on the island. So at the end of the day, I concluded that the main dishes and cocktails weren't really worth it, but discovered that they service 50% off of appetizers and pizza during happy hours, so I would definitely recommend visiting during happy hours.

It is situated in the Wailea Village Center on a beautiful spot overlooking a Golf Course. Parking was tough since it was lunch but managed to find a spot closer to Akamai Coffee. We were seated outside in the fresh air but...beware the hungry birds that hover over on the string lights if you're seated near the railing (yes I did get pooped on lol). Thanks to my friends who came to the rescue with sanitizer and we tried to scoot away from the lights. I honestly think the food and service was ok and nothing amazing to rave about. The "Homemade" Garlic Bread was a piece of toast cut into 4 slices (there were 4 of us ladies) with Mozzarella and the added cheese cost $2 more. The Family Style Plack (sorry I used to work in dental and can't help but think of "plaque" so I'd recommend a rename to "Manoli's Cobb") was a Cobb Salad and it was a delicious combo of Avocado, Chicken, Eggs, Bacon, Tomato and delicious fried onion on top. My friend thinks it's more of a serving size for 2 rather than 4. The Pizza was good. We did 1/2 Hawaiian Honey and 1/2 Shrimp Pesto. The best was the Hawaiian Honey with Kalua Pork, Pineapple and Onion and devoured it quite fast but I didn't realize a family friend had a shrimp allergy (my bad) so the Shrimp Pesto wasn't eaten as fast. I love Shrimp but maybe if it was Chicken Pesto, it would've hit more. It had mushrooms, spinach and basil pesto with garlic Alfredo sauce. I'm sure if I asked for Chicken, they could've accommodated. It was quite busy but when we needed the pizza cut more (since it wasn't fully cut for us) or more water, it was hard to find our server or get some attention for awhile especially being seated in the corner. I would come back (maybe not as frequently) and give it another try and maybe another selection of Pizza or Pasta would prove tastier...and not sit near the string lights lol.
