Other than the Dermatologist I have, Erin is the only PA I have ever felt comfortable and confident with. As far as I'm concerned, they have me for a patient as long as they are In practice.

I received a letter from her office on Feb 4th stating that she "could no longer continue my care because of my non-compliance with recommendations for care and treatment." When I called to inquire about this the office manager "Joan" stated that "My health insurance was 'going after them' for me not basically 'asking them' if it was okay to go to an ER vs coming in for an office visit". My last 3 ER visits were for chest pain, passing a kidney stone and abdominal pain with vomiting blood. So I asked just what could have been done in the office seeing how at the ER I needed an IV line, fluids, bloodwork done and CT scans done? None which could be done in office. I work in the Healthcare field and know when to use the resources of the ER. With my complex medical history it's better to go to an ER for immediate answers. All the providers said upon discharge if I didn't feel better in 3 days to call her office to be seen, most cases I didn't need to because I did. But like clock work the office would call me Monday mornings demanding I make an appointment in which I would decline because I'm not paying co-pays for them to do nothing or to refer me to one of my specialists that I already see, it's redundant. While talking to the office manager she just kept saying "my insurance" reached out to them, she then said that with my health issues I seemed to be a "complex patient" and I might be better off finding another doctor. After that conversation I called my health insurance and informed them of the entire conversation. They looked into my account and seen the office had sent them the same letter but on January 30th. I had spoken to the office on January 31st and they didn't mention that they were dismissing me. The insurance company immediately filed a complaint on my behalf. They did not like the fact that the office has lied on them, and they will be launching a full investigation into the practice, the manager at my insurance said this is one of the MANY complaints they have gotten about this office in particular. If you are looking for a doctor who will talk down to you, make judgments about you and let's not talk about how bad she talks about other physicians.....whew then this is the office for you! Word to the wise.....stay away from this office!

I had a test done that wasn't covered under my insurance, so I received a bill for $25. I assume that I can make the payment at the next appointment but I received a bill saying if I didn't pay it and the next 30 days they were going to sever ties with me as a patient. My husband and I then decided that we were going to go to a different practice. When I mentioned this to the lady at the front office, she told me that they charge $.75 per page to send the information to the new doctor. When I inquired if that included electronically, she said yes. I repeated the question because that seemed excessive to charge .75 to electronically send a file. When I got off the phone, I decided to go onto my portal to print out what I could and they had already deactivated my account. They were so concerned about getting every penny they cut out of me that patient Care was the least of their concern.

The receptionist, Allison, is amazingly friendly and helpful. It's really a pleasure to talk to her, even if it's only for a few moments. Miriam helps Dr. Qazi by getting the rooms ready and doing procedures with him. She's also very kind and friendly. I've been coming here for years because I need medical marijuana for my chronic pain disease. He not only prescribes it, but also checks up on you to make sure it's working well. He's such a good doctor that I feel like he's family. Everyone in the office makes me feel that way, actually. Especially because my mom comes here as well! He's a Sports Medicine specialist first and foremost, so if you're having trouble in that realm, he's exceedingly knowledgeable and loves to make people feel better, just like every doctor should. He listens to you and makes a plan of attack with you so you ultimately get the best care possible. He's one of the best doctors in Buffalo, in my opinion. And undoubtedly the most caring.

She's down to business and fast talking, but she's really thorough and doesn't breeze past things that look suspicious. I go once a year for a full body check because of family history with skin cancer, and she is definitely attentive to that. I've had previous doctors ignore things that bothered me because they said they weren't a problem, but if it bothers you, Dr. Amarante will take care of it. She wants you to feel good in your skin.

Her attitude was condescending and intolerant when I asked her to answer questions that I had. For a pediatrician's office, more care should be placed in making the office welcoming to children (age appropriate colors, toys, etc). Doctors should take time to introduce themselves to the children. It is a simple request to have doctors patiently and kindly answer parents' questions. I have never felt so unwelcome at a medical professional's office before. Answering simple questions is part of standard professional practice.

I was really nervious .Dr Stehlik knew this and called the neurosurgeon and he called me to reassure me i would be OK.The Surgeon called me and went over each part of the two surgeries That called really helped me.The surgery went well That is how Dr. Stehlik works.he is my primary doctor and i trust him with all my health decisions.I fell very fortunate to have Dr Stehlik as my primary physician
