I wouldn't recommend this place to a dead rodent .. Go else where if you can, you'd be better off, it's sad to have to report and do a review in such disappointment as a prior heavily unsatisfied patient. If you have Medicaid as health insurance, you'll probably be given this place as an option which is unfortunate, best of luck and prayers for anybody utilizing this place. I wish I could give negative stats.. they don't even deserve the 1 star I am forced to choose.

There is a supervising physician and physicians in training. The physicians I've had over the years have all been top-notch. The care provided to me has been excellent. Why one star? The waits and confusion I can live with. Those would have knocked my review down a star or two from 5 stars. While the staff is sometimes harried, they have always been caring and nice. It's the billing that gives them a one star rating. You will see my pic of the stack of bills and correspondence trying to get them to correct their bill. After multiple notifications from my insurance company that I owe them nothing, they just sent a bill to me for $58.56. It's not worth fighting. I don't owe the money, but I will pay it. I'll be searching yelp for a new primary care physician.

Getting anything achieved over the phone is near impossible. For context, I'm in my early 20s and…read moremy mom wanted me to go here to be seen for my endometriosis. So I've been a patient here for a little over a year and a half now. It is almost impossible for me to request a refill (for my endometriosis prescription)over the phone. Nobody knows what they're doing. I call their number and the receptionists sound like they don't know what to do with this information. Each time, they are very rude to me. I get told "I'm gonna give you to a nurse" and then I'm bounced around from different nurses not knowing what to do for my refill. This happens every month, since my doctor there puts a request for refill on each prescription, so I have to reach out to them. Sometimes, I'm told "oh I'll send this to a nurse and they'll call you back"... and days will pass by, nobody calls me and no refills were sent through. But today was the last straw, I saw my GP for an issue and she said I needed to see my gyno right away as it was growing to be a serious issue. So I called, and I explained my situation, asking if I could schedule the earliest appointment they had. I get rudely spoken to over the phone by the receptionist who claimed "well I see you have a check up in April, that's probably when they'll see you. But I'll send this to a nurse. They'll call you back". And then hung up on me. So I already know the chances of someone calling me back are slim to none. It is March 24th. My appointment is for April 28th. That is over a month away. Now, I understand if that is the soonest they could see me. But this isn't a routine check up. It's a concerning issue, and to be rudely spoken to for no reason, and told that someone will call me back and just hung up on, that is so unprofessional. I'm upset because I have an issue that is concerning me and I just would like to be treated with empathy. I'm upset because no matter who I seem to talk to, I get rudely spoken to, and talked down to. I'm upset due to the lack for unprofessionalism that seems to be everywhere in this doctors office. I do not recommend this place.

They spend time with each patient. As much time as needed. The care my family has received here has been thoughtful and caring. It's a family practice so there are often all ages in the wait room. There's a children's play area. And the selection and variety of magazines may be the best in Buffalo. But the wait room, which is spacious with lots of chairs and magazines, now has a crazy loud TV with commercials running all the time. Why do these offices think we want this noise at the dr office? People sitting here are often not feeling well and may have headaches. Can you imagine the upcoming flu (often with headaches) season sitting in a loud room? This is just noise. The children feel the need to talk (shout?) over the tv. It just gets louder and louder. I'd never come here if I was actually sick. I'd call and ask they meet me outside or turn off the noise. Honestly. 0 stars for the tv in the wait room 5 stars for actual Drs 3 stars is the ave.

I've been going to the location on Hopkins for a few years now. About a year ago, my doctor had a…read morebaby and has barely worked since. Every time I call, they say she is only in "a couple mornings per week." I called at 10am one day and they said she was already gone for the day. Basically, she's never available. If you get sick, you can't call a person. You have to leave a message and receive a call back. The recording states that the triage line is for medical questions only. When the nurse called me back, she couldn't offer a single piece of advice or feedback on my concern. So much for the line for medical questions. She said I had to make an appointment with a resident. I said I wanted a non resident physician and she told me no. I do not want to see a resident, sick or not, and was not very happy that they wouldn't uphold a request. They offered an appointment with my doctor two weeks away, since she wasn't going to be in until then. They shouldn't allow doctors to work so few hours per week because they can't provide quality healthcare. They also shouldn't force people to see residents or not offer alternatives. When you start with the practice, they never tell you that you'll never see a non resident when you're sick. I will not be going back.
