What a fantastic find in Belmar! This BYOB that also sells wine is our new favorite spot. From the homemade bread to the Bella Salad and Chicken Social we enjoyed every bite. We also met Anthony, one of the owners, who proved that relationships with customers are more important than profits from a single meal. Try it, you'll come back often.

Ordered the Crispy Fried Cauliflower (hot) with blue cheese and ranch on the side. Instead, we got plain cauliflower with no sauce and sides of ranch, yum yum, and spicy marinara. Definitely not what was on the menu and very disappointing.

We ventured into this new spot on Main Street in Belmar. The interior is bright and fun. Our service was great. We only had appetizers, however the menu is extensive with lots of choices, including brick oven pizzas. Fresh bread and dipping oil and spices was complimentary, which we devoured. The mussel appetizer was really good, but it was in a red sauce rather than the customary garlic butter, still good though. The chicken tenders were chicken tenders. In hindsight, we should have went with one of the pizzas, practically every table had one. It's a BYOB, which we did not realize. But, there is a liquor store down the street.

Update on my original review... they must have revamped the pizza because it is night and day. The thin crust pizza is ridiculously good. I liked the bee sting pie with pepperoni and hot honey. The margherita pie also was awesome. Come here for the pizza! So good.

Came here during the week with my mother and daughter. The service was great. Our waiter tried his best to please us and everyone that he was waiting on. The bread for the table was phenomenal. My one year old couldn't stop eating it. High chair was available. We split the f street salad and the margarita pie. The food was okay. I was hoping for a little more with the pizza since the starting bread was that good, but it wasn't bad.

Ok overall this place is great. I really enjoyed the ambiance, food was pretty good! Service was great. The bread in the beginning with olive oil was definitely a 10 out of 10 amazing . We started with Buffalo calamari which was a great Buffalo sauce on top, calamari could've been cooked a little more, and they should add a side sauce (blue cheese or ranch) 7/10 with what I said easily could've been a 8/10. My meal was very good I had the chicken mozzarella sandwich with vodka sauce deff 8/10 would've like more mozz though was lacking that.. but cutlet was perfect and vodka sauce. This place is good, I think it's newer with minor tweaks could be amazing. The food is great. The price point is fair in the fact that it's BYOB in Belmar you can't beat it.

Great service over the phone ! We ordered sausage on our pizza and they put 2 crumbles on it - not cool. Salmon dinner was a small portion.

Valentine day surprise here. I didnt know in advance so couldnt scope out reviews and menu in…read moreadvance. Location: parked at paid parking nearby which was cheap $1 or $2 per hour. Didnt partake in $25 valet parking but was sorely tempted. The indoors are beautiful, white walls and pretty decorations, large bar. Service: Terrific. 5 stars. Julia was awesome, helpful and honest. I did tell her I cant eat spicy stuff although I enjoy lightly spicy stuff. Drinks: I tried the Lebanese red wine. Very nice medium body. My husband tried the old fashioned which he said were good. Starters: we had the salatim which is 6 different dips and two piping hot large pita breads. I liked 4 out of 6 dips while hubby liked 5 out of 6. We both loved the hummus, salad, lima bean, and eggplant ones. This kind of eating is always fun. The discovery! STAR: The star is the halloumi. Fried cheese with lightly sweet crispy crust honeyed and topped with a light refreshing salad and pomenegrate seeds. Our server charmingly apologized she forgot to warn me about the codfish chili being potentially hot but I ended up trying and enjoying it, although I felt the fish was slightly overcooked. Not rubbery but a little too crusty and not flaky enough. I did not complain though because her dessert recommendation for malabi, a custard with oat crisps, was lovely. Nice to share with hubby and cap off the night. Temperature control: we sat somewhat near the front so were hit with cold air anytime someone entered. My husband is recovering from back surgery so walking was difficult for him. I appreciate he planned such a nice outing for us despite his walking challenges. All in all, we would return and explore cocktails and other menu items.

Honestly, I was blown away by this humble little restaurant. It truly is a warm and inviting…read moreatmosphere with standout dishes and excellent service. It was so good that I would have returned back the very next day. We walked in and we're seated immediately with our reservation, and the experience only went up from there. There are plenty of staff around to make sure that you have everything you need without seeming to be too much. It's a cozy space, nothing super fancy, but really that's all you need sometimes in a neighborhood Italian joint. Everyone at my table raved about their food from the pasta Arrabiata, to the veal special to what I had which was the crab pasta. There was so much crab and the sauce was so light. I can't get over it. I ate my leftovers that same night. Looking forward to visiting soon again

Having kitchen experience myself as well as being human being I know things can happen. I just wanted to know. After the host came in from hanging out with his friends outside he bought us over a salad swimming in dressing as an apology . I told him we don't want that, all we want is an answer as to how much longer our food will be. Again, no answer. By the time we wanted to leave our waitress and servers were no where to be found so we were kind of stuck as I was not going to walk in back to look for someone. Now, nobody wants to walk out of a restaurant ( except the owner in this case) but over an hour with no explanation is a little much. We finally caught a server who got our waitress as we waited by the door. Her only excuse for us was " I don't know what to tell you"

We all ordered the Rodizio and were very happy we did. The hot and cold buffet offered a large selection of salads, vegetables and proteins (including meats!) as well as sides for the main course. We knew enough not to fill up with the carbs to save room for the meats. We would have been happy with just the buffet! The Rodizio came out hot, fast and nonstop. They come out first with chicken and pork, wait for the good stuff! The Pincanha was my favorite, along with the filet mingon and other steaks. The short ribs were chewy (maybe just a bad cut) and the lamb was gamey according to a guest - otherwise excellent. Try the grilled pineapple - very good. We had 3 large bottles of wine turned into sangria to 'die for'. Highly recommended. One thing I did not like was the bill included an automatic 20% tip (fine that's what I usually tip) but added another line for a tip. Maybe it's what they all do now but I believe 20% is generous. How many people didn't realize and tipped 40% by accident! Also strangely, they don't have voicemail, so if you call on a Tuesday (when they are closed) no machine picks up so you think they are out of business. That's a simple fix. I highly recommend Flames Brazilian Steakhouse and although it sounds expensive, it's no more than what you would pay at any other good restaurant. Well done.

I had to be out overnight on business and I had heard about this restaurant and all I can say is…read morethat this is an experience! I didn't have an issue getting a reservation as it is winter and it is in a shore town. I arrived early, probably about 4:45 . At first, I was a little taken her back because I stood there waiting while the young lady was on the phone so I was standing in there a while, but once she was done, she led me to a table and from there everything was incredible. Let's start off with the fact that it is so tastefully decorated for the holiday season. I absolutely loved it. It was very clean very classic. Now onto the drinks. The wine menu was amazing. I settled on a glass of Pinot Grigio and then after dinner I tried one of their pistachio martinis, which was absolute heaven in a martini glass. I actually even ordered a second one because I don't know when I will ever get back down here I loved the bread service. It came with not just classic olive oil, but there was whipped ricotta cheese, and there was also some capers and olives, which were absolutely delicious. I started with the house salad. The presentation and the taste were absolutely amazing. I then had the halibut which was out of this world it was cooked perfectly . The flavor was amazing and then for dessert I had their special mini Zeppoli's half filled with Nutella and half filled with cannoli cream. I don't usually eat like this, but I figured I would treat myself for once and I enjoyed every moment of it and I cannot wait for the time when I can go back here

Apps: Bread service (could've been warmed) came with a ricotta type spread, olive tapenade, and garlicky olive oil. All fantastic together! Highly recommend mussels fra diavolo to start - rich tomato broth with perfect level of spice. Took the sauce home with bread to dip! Entrees: Pork chop was MASSIVE and extremely juicy. The peppers and onions on top were so flavorful. Decent potato bacon hash on the side. Paired perfectly with the Pinot noir. The scallops (4 large) were so sweet and fresh. Tasty, rich risotto. Desserts: GIANT tiramisu to share - dense lady fingers (a good thing), could taste the booze. Could've been slightly more room temperature but pretty dang good. I was told the chocolate mousse (I stupidly forgot to taste my friend's) was very good also. Service was exceptional. We took a lot of time here and were the last to leave but never once felt rushed by the staff. Ambience was romantic (could've used some Italian music in background to set the mood rather than classic rock)... I mean The Godfather was playing on tv at the bar! All in all, this place is the perfect spot for a fine dining experience out or special occasion. P.S.They offer $5 valet parking since it's on busy Main Street, but fairly easy to find yourself off season.
