    Mini Corn Dogs
    Caleb J.

Very great food and the service was fast. I thought the drinks could have had less ginger but given it was a Moscow mule, it wasn't bad. The burger had plenty of onions which I love, and their ranch is great. Pleasantly surprised by the mini corn dogs, but they were delicious! I love how each table is lit up with a mini candle, and it really adds to the "date night" atmosphere this place gives off. Plus they have breakfast available until 5pm!

Nice neighborhood bar vibes with interesting decorations. But not so neighborhood bar prices. First thing that stood out was the steep pricing (ie $12 for a corn dog). Waiter was nice, quick and efficient with orders. I do feel bad reviewing a bar solely on the food so if you decide to come here just have drinks and hang out here but eat somewhere else. Wings Maple Buffalo and BBQ Wings are on the small side especially for the price. Western Burger /w sweet potato fries They say burgers come standard cooked medium but both burgers ordered came cooked well done. They even over cooked the sunny side up egg, no runny yoke it came out fully cooked which ruins the whole point of having an egg on the burger. Also absolutely zero seasoning on the burger! Presentation is there but zero flavor. Wrigley Burger Same goes for this burger. No flavor/seasoning and came over cooked. Literally just seasoning the burger and cooking it right would absolutely transform this burger since the rest of the ingredients are great.

Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich was delish!

Fun Irish bar in Boystown with decent food, beer and more drinks! Got a good sidewalk eating area on the side but my only complaint is that the seats here are the least uncomfortable seats ever. Their the bistro kinda seats you see everywhere in Europe but these are just beyond uncomfortable . Our server was cute and authentically Irish. Super friendly and efficient. This place has been around for a very long time when I used to live in the block so they're obvi doing something right. Go there!

Great place for nice and quiet outside seating. The tables are placed on the side street so you are further away from those walking on Broadway. You scan the QR code for the menu so one less thing to touch. I got the chicken sandwich and it was pretty good but I was surprised by the prices, a bit high for my liking. I would come back here for a drink as it was pretty relaxing sitting at the outside tables.

While I have been coming here for some time now, I love this place! The staff is always welcoming. For being a pub, the food is amazing and they have been very accommodating to my being non-dairy. Take out travels well, which was blessing during the pandemic! Glad ur still around!! Cheers to many more!

This was a great place to catch up with some friends! The staff was very friendly and attentive, always made sure our drinks were full. The cheese curds were fresh and delicious. They gave us ranch and marinara sauce for dipping. My friend and I split the classic burger and the reuben, both were very good but I preferred the reuben. For drinks I ordered the blackberry margarita and a simple moscow mule. Both were great, but definitely recommend the blackberry margarita. Great experience, will definitely be coming back!

Mahony's is a Wrigleyville neighborhood bar that never stood out to me much. Broadway between Roscoe and Irving can get a little dry on the bar front, so I suppose it is nice to have it there. Just blocks away from the girlfriend's apartment, it seemed inevitable that we stop stop in for a drink sometime. The first time we visited was to watch football. Sports were on the various TV's, but when you're dating a Saints fan, you gotta find a place with a cable package for the NFC south. Despite being told in advance that F. O'Mahony's had this, we had to hurriedly relocate when we found out this wasn't the case. We wised up for the second outing to this spot. We had to meet some friends for brunch, and I was offered a choice between an early meal and football at home, or watching the game at a nearby bar. I proposed F. O'Mahony's as they were close, not crowded and served what appeared to be a reasonable brunch. This worked out perfectly for our group. We enjoyed bloodies, mimosas and tasty brunch fare. Our server got us in and out in plenty time for the game, and the ambiance was quite cozy in the meantime. I'd recommend it if you're in the area.

    Golden monkey beer!
    G D.

This is a really nice neighborhood bar to hang out with friends and meet new people. I had never tried Golden Monkey Beer until I saw the sign outside and figured I'd try it. The place is extra crowded when the Bears are playing. I'd suggest coming early to get a good seat before the game starts. It can get loud but I expect that at a sports tavern. I was here during the day so I can't say what it's like at night. I liked the mixed crowd and vibe. I'll come back for sure.

What a cute little brewery! They have a handful of beers, with a good variety (i.e. 75% are *not*…read moreIPAs). Plus, I think it's fantastic that their menu describes the flavor notes! The prices are extremely reasonable, with most 10oz pours costing ~$5-6. The flight of the 'core' (shall we say) six is $20... not bad at all if you ask me. I ordered 10oz of the Liquid Baguette, as the menu described, Earthy, Crisp, and Refreshing. While not my favorite beer on the planet, it was very respectable for a craft brew. DryHop also has a proper food menu, with mostly American classics with some a little more out there options, like the Kangaroo Steak Frites or the Hunter Stew (I don't recall what kind of meat, but not exactly something readily available at Jewel's. The cup was a large enough portion, even made me wonder if I was given a bowl by mistake. The broth was rich and savory, with an ample amount of protein. While a little more meat and smaller pieces of potatoes would have been welcome, this is more personal preference than a critique. Something which was less than fantastic was the service. I felt it was inattentive and a little slow, especially given the brewery was only moderately busy at the time. Maybe I am becoming an impatient, old curmudgeon, or maybe there's some truth to my observation, you be the judge. Final verdict: I think DryHop would classify as a micro-brewery. In that regard, they have a solid selection and good variety. To have something for the beer to wash down there's a solid food menu. While beers and grub are of a high standard, the service leaves something to be desired.

You enter through a front room with a long bar before moving into the main dining area, which is lined with large windows. Warm wood paneling and colorful graphics give the space an inviting, energetic feel. Our server was excellent--friendly and attentive--and both the owner and a manager stopped by during the evening to check in, which was appreciated. Felix has an extensive cocktail menu, and servers were busy delivering trays of beautiful drinks throughout the night. I ordered the Windy City Sunset mocktail, while my husband chose the Smokey Old Fashioned. Both were very good. The food, however, was more of a mixed bag. We started with the meatballs for the table; unfortunately, they were overcooked and hard, and even the marinara sauce couldn't save them from being dry and unappetizing. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious and generously sized--easily enough for two meals. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta and found the chicken somewhat dry. Our friends ordered a pasta dish to share, though they didn't eat much of it while tending to their very well-behaved six-month-old. While the bar and dining room are attractive, the bathroom was a major disappointment--dirty and unkempt, especially considering it was early in the evening (around 6 p.m.), not late enough to excuse the condition. The owners and staff are genuinely kind, and the menu shows a lot of promise. At the moment, though, the food doesn't quite live up to what they're serving at Bites. I hope Felix can work out some of the inconsistencies and find success--it certainly has the potential. I would like to give Felix 3.5-stars, but Yelp does not accommodate this option.

Every time I visit, the decor never ceases to impress. It's classy but unpretentious and you can tell folks are there to have a good time. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily, we were able to snag seats at a bar before a table opened up around 9pm. A note that they don't take reservations (but I kind of wish they did!), so this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. They had a special seasonal menu going for the holiday, and we started with the reuben hush puppies. While they were more like croquettes, they were extra crispy, cheesy, and juicy with the most delicious thousand island dressing. I wish they would offer this year round! For mains, we ordered the corned beef and buddha bowl. I really liked the horseradish aioli that came with the beef- while the meat could've been more tender, it had a great flavor overall. The cabbage actually tasted pickled and the carrots sweet; non-traditional, but tasty! The buddha bowl had a very wide range of veggies and perfectly cooked rice. I could drink that spicy peanut sauce. I appreciated how large the portions were, which definitely softened the price as we left with plenty of leftovers. All in all, we had a great experience- if you haven't checked Wilde out, I highly recommend doing so!
