Loved the chocolate donuts. However the dark maple was extremely dense and had the consistency of a crumpet (very moist). Happy they were around as this stave our hunger until we could finally get lunch! They also have vegan options as well as GF. read more

I'm not into deprived donuts but these are decent. If I'm gonna eat a donut it better be warm and full of flavorful sweetness. These are not sticky sweet which is nice for the keto, and team diabetes crews out there. It's worth a try if your gluten free, and need a nibble read more

We were staying in Laurel Canyon and I was super excited that there was a gluten free donut place nearby. The first time we went, it was 6:00 pm So it was already closed. I tried a few days later about 3:00 pm and we walked in to only find 1 large vanilla donuts and 3 mini donuts. The employee let us know it is best to go online in the morning at 8;00 am and place your order for pickup. We bought all 4 and headed back to our car. I pulled the large donut out of the bag, expecting it to be like a regular donuts but it crumbled into pieces and 2/3 of it ended up on the sidewalk we ate what was left of the donuts and they did taste good but the texture is odd and almost wet and crumbly. The frosting is also yummy. So if you plan to go be sure to order ahead and don't pull it out of the bag while walking. read more

By the time I got here their donuts were all sold out, except for two. Pretty bummed out about that. So, why the five stars you ask? Well because their Olive Oil Wild Blueberry was THAT AMAZING!! I know now to order in advance and can't wait to try out the rest, even if the other options don't taste as good I'll continue to go back for this donut alone. read more

The donuts are tasty but fall apart so easily. Very disappointed I bought the $40 kit. Ok $40 for flour, sugar and a tbl of apple sauce and white vinegar is redic. But it was my sons bday so I wanted to do something special. 3 of the 6 totally fell apart. The store bought ones will also fall apart if you put in frig or freezer even-though one of their selling points is they can be stored this way. Can't say I'd return unless buying one to eat right then and I feel like speaking over $5 per donut read more

Never knew about this spot until today! Where have I been?! We came it a little before they were closing so not many options left but I was able to take home the banana chocolate donuts and simply ..... AMAZING! Wow. Vegan, gluten free deliciousness. Super cute spot, I will be making my way soon to enjoy the other options they have. Must try!! But get there early enough to make sure to snag a couple of different flavors before they're gone. These are probably the best donuts I've ever tried. And the ones I've had are vegan and gluten free - unbelievable. In the midst of quarantine week 11 or so, I ordered fonuts on postmates and they did not disappoint. The texture is amazing and the taste is even better. Thank goodness for fonuts! read more

Parking isn't fun, but after you get over that the rest is amazing. Clean, meticulous store! And the donuts are delish. If you haven't had a doughnut because you are vegan or gluten-free, this will give you all the feels. Beware that half of their donuts are not vegan but they are all gluten-free and separated so it's easier to choose. We tried all of the minis. Our favorite was the vegan gluten-free lemon (tastes like Mrs. Grace Lemon Cake or a moist lemon Bundt cake). Don't miss their vegan Nutella - best I have ever had!. I love that they have minis for portion control-if you can control yourself. In addition to vegan/non-vegan gluten free dry kits you can take home, they have kombucha, syrup, and more for sale. They sell the mix with or without the donut moulds. They will close once they sell out so if you're coming in the afternoon, call first. read more

Was so underwhelmed by this cute little obscure location on Laurel Place. The girl was nice but not exactly comfortable in her role as a "salesperson" and she needs a makeover. Fonuts is a great spot for a healthier donut. I'm a sucker for donuts so finding Fonuts has been a nice treat. So far we're hooked on three top flavors: Banana Chocolate (my personal favorite), Vanilla (my wife's favorite), and Double Chocolate (we both love). The mini fonuts are also a lot of fun. OMG I am so excited that a fōnuts has finally come to the valley! I literally walk here once a week to grab my favorite churro fōnut! It literally MELTS in your mouth. It's a 10/10 place for me. It is a bit pricier, but the donuts are baked and they have vegan and gluten free options so I can't complain! I'm hoping they will have more options of donuts soon because they don't seem to have two of my favorite ones which are the coffee and chocolate with sprinkles at this location, but the churro donut is DELICIOUS! I ordered a few of these beauties a few weeks ago for a socially distanced picnic in the park! We love the vegan options and that the donuts are gluten free. But it's not for sacrifice of taste because these taste great! I ordered pretty close to close for pickup and not only did they still have a good selection, the service was great! Whoever helped me on the phone was super polite and informative. I picked up my donuts right at the perfect time. They were ready and waiting and I had laid over the phone for no hassle! It's on a pretty busy street. There is street parking but it can be dicey. I go to the area a lot for Alfred Coffee and Joans on 3rd so I'm used it. I would definitely love to go back a little closer to open some time because I only took away a star because they were just SLIGHTLY dry, but that might be because I got them end of day so I will return! read more

WOW. My first bite into the strawberry shortcake donut was a shock. HOW could something this small be this good?! The fruit popped through the soft and fluffy cake, covered in icing that wasn't too sweet for a delectable, mouth-watering treat. The consistency of the cakes are also astounding, across flavors. They are light and airy, perfect for a morning or afternoon treat. I also tried the blueberry earl grey, which was sensational, and had a bite of the lemon donut, which was (almost) equally great. The price point is FOR SURE higher than your average donut shop, but this isn't your average donut shop. Spend the coin. It'll be worth it! read more

I was intrigued when I saw there was a vegan/gluten free donut shop. Donuts are my fav, so a healthier alternative definitely piqued my interest. I wanted to give a few flavors a try so I got some of the minis so i could. I really loved that they had an option to do that. All of the flavors were really good. My only complaint is that the consistency was more like a muffin. Don't get me wrong, I love muffins, but when you were expecting one thing and get something else it doesn't quite satisfy that craving. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. read more

I've been here once before and I really enjoyed their fonuts. I checked both Yelp and their IG to make sure their Studio City location was open and I got here at 16:16 and it's closed Both sites say they're open til 5 pm... I'm pretty disappointed bc their fonuts are good. read more

These donuts are very expensive ($4.50 per donut). They are very moist and they are yummy. The only problem is that they are too sugary. You definitely get a sugar high eating a donut. I love the concept but I don't want to have a sugar high. Anyway, this is one man's experience. read more

WOW!!!! Gluten free AND delicious! Out for a drive and craving donuts... Husband is gluten free so started my search And ended up here. The market was happening so was a bit tricky to park and walk to. Once we arrived it's fairly easy to order. Just scan and choose. Donuts were in our hands in minutes! What did we choose you ask: chocolate on chocolate, dark maple, churro, and strawberry. Gluten free donuts are cake like not fluffy but these donuts had real flavors and not greasy and definitely not cheap. More of an occasional indulgence at their price point, not something we'd do every weekend. Trust me they were yummy and worth it! Strawberry was probably our favorite if we had to pick one but again they all were fantastic! read more

As a vegan who likes donuts, I was looking forward to trying Fonuts. After reading the reviews, I expected them to be great, so I ordered a half dozen. Unfortunately, they were dry, the texture was grainy making for an unpleasant mouth feel, and the flavor was mediocre. Add to that the high price and I was very disappointed. read more

The best gluten free vegan donuts. Fonuts are my favorite Saturday treat and have been for months now. I rarely come to this location, simply because they tend to sell out of vegan donuts faster but I guess that's proof of how good these are ;) Since they're baked they do crumble and get messy.. a lot. So definitely do not take it out of the wrapper and be careful eating it in your car. Aside from that the only complaint I really have is parking- it's a nightmare. Great ordering service and pick up organization. But let's talk about the DELICIOUS vegan and gluten free donuts. These are hard to come by, but fonuts have really changed the game when it comes to dietary requirements and cheat days. Also, my friend who doesn't have any dietary requirements loved them!! I got the black and white and a lemon for my friend. They are more like donut-shaped cake but light. Very sweet, but that's what I was craving and why I got donuts. We both finished ours and had no complaints. No heavy feeling from grease, either. My friend is tracking calories and wishes there was nutrition info available, but I don't care to make myself nuts. The address for this place is simple, however, when you look for the marquee that reads "The Vegan & More" you don't see it. What you do see is at the same address (and they happen to have a Yelp Page for that restaurant too BTW) is the Jumpin Java Kitchen, which has been there since 1995! As you can see from the photos, this place that first attracted us to come, is not a full blown restaurant, nor a pop-up (that we also passed on this a.m.) but a page from the menu from another restaurant. To me, this is what one would call BAIT AND SWITCH. Now let's get on to what was ordered.. My wife ordered the Vegan Egg Scramble.. and mind you, the photo that they showcase both on Yelp and Google, is FAR FROM what they served. The key to this dish is the vegan egg... not the veggies... .and you can see from our posted photos, from this a.m. there's barely anything there... which is why my wife didn't eat it.
