I'm going to be direct, my experience using the 7-day pass is the reason I did not return. I came in to see if the gym felt like a space I'd actually use. I clearly stated multiple times to the general manager that I did not want to discuss membership yet and just wanted to work out. Despite that, I was kept in a prolonged sales conversation for roughly 40 minutes and was told a tour was required to "activate" my pass. At multiple points, I explicitly asked to end the conversation so I could start my workout, and that request was ignored. Being pushed to continue a sales discussion after setting that boundary made me uncomfortable enough that I avoided coming back altogether. A "no commitment" pass shouldn't require someone to push through a high-pressure sales interaction just to access the gym. That approach had the opposite effect of what I assume was intended, it drove away someone who was genuinely considering joining. I did not return because I did not want to have to sit through a sales pitch again as if I was buying a car instead of a $10-$30 membership. If you're open to feedback, I would strongly recommend giving trial members the option to bypass or immediately exit sales conversations when they've clearly declined. The gym was packed, the parking lot being full is a sign of how busy it is inside. I also didn't see almost anyone wiping off equipment after use and that wasn't discussed on my tour. read more

As well as showing other signs of impairment. Not a good look for the brand as well as they lie like the breath about everything. I would say do not get tied up in a personal trainer contract biggest mistake ever. I mean if you live close and need a gym I would say go to 59th Ave to be honest. Visited this location as a guest for my first time this past Sunday. I was really interested in using their pool for some lap swimming and a nice soak in their hot tub. Pool was nice, good temp and not crowded. Hot tub was not hot, very disappointing. I will give it one more try. read more

First time to an EOS. Got a 7 day pass. When i entered, I roamed the place for a while looking at the equipment. Coming from planet fitness it may take me some time to get used to EOS's equipment, but a really liked the variety of equipment. There are plenty of cardio options, including a movie room where you can get on an elliptical or treadmill and watch a movie. Today looked like they were showing space jam. I think i will sign up permanently at some point. Looks like $29.99 is the highest tier that includes message chairs, sauna, and hot tub, which i didn't get to check out. read more

Systemic Staff Harassment and Safety Failure Been a member since June 2024 Highly consistent here: 5-6 days/week, always after 7 PM. Overall Rating: 1/5 Stars Due to Environment and Staff Conduct but Objective Gym Facility Rating: 2/5 stars. Pros: -Excellent selection of lifting and functional equipment (standard for the franchise though). -Main gym equipment are well maintained and usable. (Made great gains- 30lb of muscle mass regained!) - 24 hour access. Cons: -Staff Harassment (Explained Below) -Wild Armed Security appeared suddenly (no explanation as to why. 10/16/2025) -Poorly Maintained Hygiene: Cleanliness is unacceptable, especially during peak hours. Bathrooms are often flooded, toiletries and gym floor paper towels are rarely restocked. Sinks are constantly covered in hair and other fluids. -Staff doesnt enforce equipment wiping -Broken/Unreliable Amenities: Accessory equipment (massage guns, chairs) is frequently broken or unavailable. CORE ISSUE- Staff Harassment and Unsafe Environment: My primary reason for leaving is the alarming, long-running pattern of unprofessionalism and targeted staff harassment. It ultimately resulted in a long term compromised safety environment not welcoming to workout in. To be clear- Everyone's experience with staff will surely differ, however I have endured months of odd treatments from a handful of staff here, NEVER learning as to why. I am a quiet, and shy, but focused member who keeps to myself. I have never had a bad interaction with staff or a member... In all truthfulness, I never even really had a prolonged interaction with staff or a member outside of saying a polite "hi" for over a year and a half. I smile and nod, but overall I come to work out, not to engage in making the gym a social hour. Starting around May 2025, the demeanor of multiple long-term staff members who were always friendly to me before shifted dramatically from polite to openly hostile, demonstrated by sneering, glares, and persistent, focused surveillance. It was a jarring and increasing observable change from multiple staff members who had been welcoming to me in the past. Key Incidents of Unprofessionalism: Constant Surveillance: Multiple staff members would constantly linger near me and covertly side-eye me during my workouts for months, even still currently. Repeated Identity Checks: I was suddenly and repeatedly asked to verify my identity upon entry, despite being a consistent and recognizable member for months, while other members passed unchallenged. I always obliged, never causing an issue. Bizarre Confrontation: In late May 25' (a short time after the behavior shift), A specific staff member cornered me in The Tank recovery area to question me about another member supposedly sneaking in, going so far as to accuse me being said person and asking if I had changed my hair color from blonde to black to evade detection (lol????). This was an unsettling, unprofessional, and aggressive interaction based on what seemed to be highly unsubstantiated staff speculation and "social drama." I laughed confused and showed my membership app on my phone and told him he's seen me for months with the same style and hair... he then changed the subject and ran away. Said staff member was bizarre (I believe his name is Thunder?). Surveillance, sneering, glaring, and all the odd behavior from staff CONTINUED for months even after I clarified myself here. I kept attending til now despite their odd behavior. Conclusion: This is not a safe or welcoming environment for anyone who simply wants to work out without engaging in high school social circle drama orchestrated by the staff. The unprofessionalism and immaturity are evident. No one wants to pay to work out in a hostile environment under constant surveillance (and now an armed security guard as of October 16th, 2025.) I strongly advise potential members to seek an establishment where professionalism and a safe atmosphere are truly priorities. read more

I do not recommend anyone sign up for a membership at this gym. The entire management staff is very rude and incompetent at their job. I signed for a membership early this year and had no issues signing up. I had a previous account that I cancelled with a different location that never got resolved. The manager at the time stated it was no issue since the entities were separate and I was in good standing at this location. I go in one morning to work out and the other "manager" started heckling me about my previous account. I told him that I spoke to the taller male Hispanic manager that enrolled me and he stated it wasn't an issue. This "manager" would not let me work out even though I was paying my dues on time. I requested to cancel my membership and they provided me with a QR code to do so online. I tried to cancel my membership back in October and I couldn't do it through their website. I contacted the gym and let them know about my issue. I was promised by Olivia, another manager, that my account would be cancelled. I took her word for it and was charged again in November. I was upset and called the gym to find out what happened. I was told that she never cancelled the account nor put in any notes to cancel when I called back in October. The rep there tried to explain that there is a "holding" period where you get charged for an extra month while the cancellation goes through. This is absolutely not acceptable as the account should have been cancelled in October and I should have not been charged for fees in November. I was again told that Olivia would cancel the membership and I would be refunded for the fees. Today, I was charged again for another month of fees and was given the same run around. My membership has not been cancelled and I've been charged for two months of fees for no reason. I believe these individuals are trying to milk out additional months in fees to boost their numbers since this is either incompetence or done completely on purpose. I recommend staying away from this gym at all costs and choose the EOS or LA Fitness gyms down the street. If anyone has a corporate number to help expedite this issue, please let me know. This gym so far has been great! Way better tbh than La fitness and esporta. It's cleaner, the front staff are super friendly ( which is important to set the tone) . For the most part, most members put back their weights and clean off equipment. I do have to say, morning is great time to go, I went a few times at 5/6 and it's a mad house! You better be patient lmao! But for real it's great to see so many people bettering themselves. The massage chairs, already need some replacements in the feet. I hate that people wear their shoes in the massage chair. Hear me out... reason being is I rather a foot in shoe then a shoe that has WALKED IN THE PUBLIC BATHROOMS! That is how stuff spreads. If l could give this location a zero l would l am truly disappointed and quite frankly disgusted with how they choose to go to business DO NOT sign up for personal training it's in entire scam when I originally signed up for my personal training, I made it very clear that I only want my first session and I am only using this so I can learn the equipment in a safe way after about 2 sessions my personal trainer ended up leaving a month went by and nobody reached out so I called this location and asked them what's going on with my personal training and they let me know that my personal trainer no longer worked there it took me calling in to see what's going on when this should've been the first red flag for me me being as upset as I was with the customer service again made sure whoever I was speaking with on the phone supposedly a manager I got transferred to letting them know that I'm not going past my contract with Personal training they told me they understood and will put a notation on my account turns out that never happened and I got put on month-to-month on May 1. I go in there again and speak with a manager. Kayna at first the conversation was going really well. He said that the original person never put a notation on my account and he will put in for an immediate cancellation at that time. And I will receive no more charges after this day l follow up and asked for some type of documentation because at this point I've heard that before I was told that that wasn't possible, but he told me he has my word and he's working on it as we speak I believe him and I go about my business about 4 weeks ago by l go in may 29th and I have received two more personal training charges. I go in there and speak with my personal trainer and he notifies me that there was never a cancellation put on my account. Kanya is there so my personal trainer pulls him up and we're having the same conversation. He tells me he's not too sure why it never went in and he will work on it as we speak. I had to stand there for my entire personal training session to make sure they did what they said that they were gonna do and was technically charged to have that conversation because they told me that I also could not get my personal training session back again I asked for some documentation proof and this time I was able to get it kanya put me on an email with proof that he reached out to upper management Cole Schindler Ang garret johnson to get me a refund to get me an immediate cancellation and nobody response I re-reach out on June 2 to see if there's any update and again no response. I go in there June 3. To try and get some more information. -Alenea A. And Ronileigh are at the desk and it were more helpful and apologetic than any manager I've ever spoken to in the building at this point in time, this is what I am notified that kayna the fitness manager no longer is the fitness manager of this location... ironic? The ladies let me know that they weren't able to see much, but they could see that Cole put in for an immediate cancellation of my personal training, but states that there is no room for a refund They point me to the new fitness manager for me to get the same runaround that there was no notations on the count so there's not much he can do. I let him know again that there was an email sent up to upper management that they took full responsibility of not doing what they were supposed to do he then reaches out to Cole I let the new fitness manager know that I again re-emailed Cole and Garrett to see if there's any update and I got no response. After he got Cole on the phone, it was was very clear that he has no intention of giving me a refund for his manager's mistakes again because there was never a notation on the account. Yeah cause refusing to reach out and makes his new fitness manager. Tell me no He does not care that the manager emailed him taking responsibility. This review is for the EOS fitness location at 19th Ave. and Baseline, Phoenix AZ. My family and I have joined this gym since grand opening. This gym is nice and clean. The receptionists have consistently greet and interact with members in a positive and welcoming manner. The G-fit classes are great with many professional instructors. Diane Giddings teaches Mondays Bodypump and Wednesdays Les Mills Core at this location. Diane always set up & ready to start the class, with an exercise routine planned. She is amazing with positive attitude and beautiful smiles which empower me and my family to work out even harder. Most importantly, she pays attentions to her students and ensures that their techniques are correct to avoid injuries. Thank you Diane for being a great fitness instructor and motivator. No Compassion or Customer Service Bottom line go somewhere else they don't deserve your hard earned money. They don't respect it, or their customers and don't have the proper customer service to resolve issues. Signed my daughter up for personal training took me calling several times and over three weeks to get her assigned to a trainer but they had no problem charging us for sessions we couldn't use. She was then in a serious car accident, was in ICU, and was unable to work out for a few months was told contact was put on hold but they continued to charge. They continued to charge after contact ended even though sessions were not completed from initial contract. I would think at this point we deserved some compassion. The accident actually happened while they were pulling out of the gym parking lot, but no, no compassion. Due to the fact her dad's post accident condition was much more serious (he was in hospital for almost a month and had surgery #9 last week) it took me a while to get around to contacting them and canceling contact. Even after I cancelled we still were charged. So contacted them and eventually disputed charge with cc after no response. Now they are "threatening" us because I did what I said I would do. We paid over $5,600 and they cannot even tell me accurately how many sessions she had available. They only cared to tell me it is what the contact said. Well the contact said she had 12 months to use sessions but apparently she had sessions expire. Now because I disputed the charge after the cancellation they are saying we can't get them back. My email asking for some compassion and compromise went without response. It has been a nightmare and not something that I need to deal with on top of everything else wish I would have read some reviews and went elsewhere. read more

Good facility, but the staff are never on time. I have scheduled two appointments to use the eVolt. Neither appointment started on time. The first appointment was 10-15 minutes late, and now this appointment is 20 minutes late because someone woke up late (it's 10:20am). Does this gym not realize that patrons have jobs and carve a limited amount of time out during their workday for fitness??? The complaints I have for this gym have nothing to do with the gym or service team themselves, but for the people that attend this location. Yes I wrote a lot. I'm giving this location 5 stars because I like the movie theater room, swimming pool, and staff are all really kind (especially the night crew). I've been going for about 2 months now and have had great encounters with the night crew (after 9pm-1am). This is for the people that care about what kind of gym they are joining: 1. This gym stays busy! I've gone different times and different weekdays and it is almost always packed. The only time that isn't too busy is 6-9 am in the morning and it's moderately busy between 9-3 pm. Yet, after 5pm up until nearly 1 am it's insanely packed! My issue with this is that I left my old gym for the new equipment in EōS and yet the people that use the equipment in this gym just sit on it with their phones in their hands. The gym etiquette is quite insane. People come to the gym to work out and have an in and out session and yet, every time I go people are negatively occupying machines by leaving water bottles on the sitting posts, just straight up sitting on a machine talking to others for 10-15 minutes, or both. It makes me miss my old gym when even though it was packed, people got on and off of machines in a timely matter. 2. The people who attend this gym (from what I've seen) at night are mostly teens. With this age group comes immature comments and poor gym etiquette in terms of cleanliness and workout efficiency. I've even heard some racial slurs (in the women's restroom) from this age group. Though this has just been my experience, I am not calling out all teens that attend this location in a bad light. I was a teen not too long ago and I know how it is. And yet, when attending a gym as big as this one, I wish that the gym etiquette was a bit more professional. I know this is a reach, but I hope that people at this location become more mindful of their gym time and use it efficiently so they can make progress on themselves and allow others to use machines :) I'm just reflecting on what I've witnessed as a member of 2 months at this gym in these paragraphs and I hope that anyone that is looking to join this gym considers going in the morning to avoid the afternoon rush.
