I contacted Ezra Tree Service as I had some tree trimming that needed to be done. I contacted three companies via Yelp and Ezra was the first to respond. I was impressed with the company's five star reviews and decided to move forward after receiving a fair estimate. During the estimate process a man named Trinidad showed up on time and gave me a verbal estimate. I wrote this estimate on a business card and re-affirmed the estimate through Yelp messaging as I didn't receive a written estimate. The work that was needed was a pepper tree to be trimmed about 50%, trimming of seven queen palm trees, skinning of seven queen palm trees and removal of a stump. The crew showed up on time. The pepper tree looked great and they trimmed the queen palms as promised. The stump was removed as promised. My issue was that the queen palms were not skinned to my satisfaction. I had explained to Trinidad during the estimate how I wanted them skinned. I wasn't here while they were working but my wife was and my wife didn't complain about the queen palms not being skinned. At the end of the day, I had a Yelp message exchange that identified that the queen palms needed to be skinned and that was part of my estimate. I contacted Ezra to identify that the queen palms were not skinned and he offered to come back out. We were then hit with several storms which were not suitable to perform work in. I followed up once but didn't receive another visit. I'm sure if I was home at the time the skinning would have been done. They attempted to skin five of the seven but only completed about 25% of the skinning and didn't even attempt to skin the last two. Pros: first to return messages, the first to provide an estimate, did a great job on the pepper tree, provided a fair priced estimate, showed up on-time, cleaned up all the mess. Cons: did not provide a written estimate, did not complete the agreement by not skinning the queen palm trees, didn't follow back up after I contacted them. read more

This is my 2nd time using Ezra to trim 3 large trees on my property. What I appreciate the most is that his crew knows how to "properly" trim. They don't "top" them like so many others do. Just a nice thinning of the growth, removing crossing branches, and giving them a nice shape. They are quick and efficient, and leave the yard clean of any debris. These guys are the best! read more

Wow! This service was fast, professional and done to perfection! It was easy to get a quote and the communication was excellent. I had 3 queen palms trimmed that were overgrown and messy. Now they look beautiful and the guys cleaned up very nicely! Very affordable too! I highly recommend this company. read more

These guys are the best. They are efficient, courteous, professionals. Their prices are very competitive for the area if not one of the best prices. I've used them 4 times now and will continue for my annual services read more

They came quickly and did a fast and clean job. Very happy with the service and value.

Great communication, responded quickly and gave a fair price. Called to make sure the service I wanted was ok because it was an aggressive cut on the tree. read more

Great experience! Fast response and the most competitive price among the four quotes I received in the Riverside area. The crew arrived on time and removed a two-story-tall palm tree in about an hour. They cleaned up the site thoroughly afterward, leaving everything spotless. Everyone on the team was polite and professional. Highly recommended! read more

Quick service and very competitive with their pricing. Four guys came out the next day as requested at 7am and very kind. Climbed the trees but with hard hats first and rope to tie off for safety. Brought in their machines to mulch the branches. There was saw dust coming down and onto my yard but cleaned up as much as they could. I understand you can't get everything and I'm ok with it. They did a good job and trimmed 3 trees exactly how I envisioned them to be when completed. Thank you Ezra and team! read more

The tree trimming was done well. However, some items were damaged; broken bench, planter, and skylight. This was over six months ago. The last message I received was "I'll get back to you on the skylight". only crickets since then. read more

I had a very positive experience the first time I had service done on my two properties two years ago. So, I contacted Ezra again when they needed service. Ezra was responsive and we had an apt. No one came, no one called. When I texted to see what's up he apologized with excuses and we set another apt. I know life happens. The same exact thing happened the next apt! No show, no call or text. His lack of communication put myself and my tenants out as we waited hours for him to come. Twice. A little communication could have a long way. I'm a pretty understanding a flexible person. This was just bad business. read more

I recently had Ezra tree trim my palms. They did a great job for a terrific price. I will definitely be using them again. Great job guys.

I requested for an estimate to get my tree trimmed and Ezra Tree Service was quick to respond. For 1 tree with most of the leaves gone because of the winter cold some of the quotes I received as crazy as $800 with a low of $350. Ezra was the lowest at $250. Ezra Tree Service was easy to communicate with; professional, efficient, polite and just a pleasure to deal with. The job was done in less than 2 days from the time I received their quote read more

I needed a 50' tall dead tree taken down. Ezra tree service responded within an hour (three other businesses didn't even bother to respond). I sent a picture, they sent a quote by text, and had three guys out the next day to do the work. Their crew was efficient and safe - and they completed the job exactly as I asked and left the area cleaner than I expected. I will be returning to Ezra tree service for my routine services in the future. Responsive. Efficient. Friendly. High quality work. Great service. Strongly recommend! read more

I am beyond impressed by Ezra and his crew. I got multiple bids for tree trimming at our two properties in Menifee, and I am very happy we decided to go with Ezra. From the beginning, he was professional and polite. His crew arrived on time, and I cannot believe that they carefully trimmed 17 large trees and cleaned up everything in less than three hours! His workers were very careful and skilled as they climbed and they did not hack off more than necessary. They worked well together and didn't waste any time. I will definitely be using Ezra again in the future. Excellent business! read more

My wife and I saw Ezra Tree Service in our area last year. We both liked what we saw. This Spring we decided to have our tree pruned. They are thoroughly modern. My wife and I are Seniors. I can now say I am "tech savvy". They wanted me to take a photo, leave my name and phone number. They called back promptly; they gave us a free estimate. We liked the quote and the final cost was as promised. On the phone, they told me, they would come on that day or on the following. They came earlier than we expected. That was fabulous. The one inconvenience for me was to find a cone. My wife wanted to go the store and buy. I said that was unnecessary. I struggled a little. My neighbor was great, she was a big help. She had her vehicle in front of our tree. Fortunately, she had a long pole barrier "thing". Another thing was making a "No Parking" sign. My printing with a marker has gone south. Go figure as a teen I would make signs for my Aunt's produce stand . I scramble too -- to find the person to move his back up his car. Believe me it go well. In the end, the gal moved her van. The guys at Ezra's worked hard, fast and thorough and were done before we knew it. They took credit card. That was done on the phone also. My wife said, "Imagine if you would have done that job, yourself." I loved their "service". I recommend them to our neighbors, community and friends. Thank You Ezra Tree Service! Our tree looks beautiful. read more

I requested a quote online and they came out the same day to provide a free estimate which was excellent for our budget. They were able to work with our schedule and came over to remove some old nasty cypress trees quickly. We asked them to do some extra work and they were able to get that done for a fair price. I will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Had a great experience with this company last week. Was able to get a competitive estimate within a day with just sending a photo of the tree I needed trimmed. They were kind enough to do the work, at our request, without the use of boot spikes. Was able to have them come and service our tree on a saturday, and their rate was the best of the bunch that I got estimates from. They came, did the work quickly, and cleaned up the mess afterwards. Very happy with their work. read more

Ezra's Tree Service did a fantastic job removing an oak tree from my yard. They responded quickly with a quote and were available to complete the work soon after my request. There were sprinklers near my tree which I wanted to save and they were careful to not damage them. They cleaned up well afterward too (filling in the hole, blowing off the sidewalk, etc.). I definitely recommend using them! read more

Ezra's tree service did an amazing job! They were almost half the cost of the other estimates I recieved and he was quick and communicated clearly. I will hire them again! read more
